1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: February 04, 2021, 11:32:01 AM
Finally I reached the support via the chat. They said it's gonna be reverted automatically in a few days.

Another interesting thing happened today when I paid with my wirex.
On the first try it showed me failure in payment. Then I retried it and it went through.
Then I looked at my wirex ledger and the specific amount has been spent 3 times!
I also asked the seller if he got the payment 3 times, but he says he only sees one payment.
So somehow the money for other 2  extra payments disappeared in the system.
I already wrote a ticket but no reply yet.

Yeah from two months stated in the T&S to six months it's quite the difference.

I checked how much I left my card and account empty and it was barely one month and a few days, they did charge me two months of maintenance on both cards but indeed, they only charge if the Euro or USD account is funded, I see in my stats that I loaded my account with bitcoin, they didn't charge anything for 3 days, and only after I transferred 100 euros then the fees got deducted.

Gonna order a new USD card.

Did they say if they are going to charge you extra for a new card?
They told me that a replacement card will be charged when I damaged my last one but it's been six months and they haven't taken one cent.

They said it takes longer than I thought, even up to a few weeks to order me a new card in this situation, because the bank puts me on a blacklist or something that has to be reverted.

They responded to my ticket and said that I had insufficient founds on my USD card to cover the monthly fee.

That's weird. Mine's been kept empty for months on end and they haven't said anything. I stick some money on there and disappear again. I assumed if you keep it empty the fees back up until it's loaded again. Seems onerous to keep freezing and reopening.

I had it empty for about 6 months before they closed it without a warning.

My Wirex USD card was closed on 1st of July without reason.
Anyone knows what is going on?

My cards are still active, checked their twitter and there isn't any other than normal complaints activity so probably it's your account only.
Assuming you have checked your mail already and there is also nothing there, contact them....and get some trail mix as you're going to have to wait a bit.

Ps.
I see you're from Romania, why do you use USD card? I had a discussion with somebody using both USD and EUR cards, he dropped the USD one because he was charged a lot extra than the EUR one for the same purchased amount.

I'm from Hungary BTW.
They responded to my ticket and said that I had insufficient founds on my USD card to cover the monthly fee.
They cant deduct the money from my other cards or wallets indirectly.
But I had no warnings or anything. I find it a little strange.
Gonna order a new USD card.

Ok, looking for the best ways to get heat out of my mining room...

8 x 10 room with 9ft ceilings, single window, single inside door. Generating a lot of heat.

I don't know anything about thermal stuff. Would it be best to:

1. Use a vent hood like apparatus with fan to get heat into the attic?

2. Use an attic fan for the same affect?

3. Put a fan or air conditioner in window for fresh/cool air?

That is not closely related to the topic?

There are at least two options.

1. open a hole on the opposite side of the room and cover it with a grill or something and put an axial fan on the window that blows the warm air OUT.
2. divide the room in the middle in a U shape so you can use the window for both intake and outtake. This also works well, I tried this.

You are a troll f*cking up this useful thread, shilling a scam, right?

Simply use PBE one click so you have a decent base to start finetuning from.

i was talking about dual server psu hp dps1200 Wink i love the cheap platinum efficiency and durability of server psus

I use 2x DPS-1200 PSUs for my power hungry rigs. Without any problem.
Half of the GPUs on each PSU.
And I use picoATX, or a completely separate cheap ($15) ~400W ATX for the mobo+ssd.
The only potential problem is if the ATX turns on 1-2 seconds earlier than the DPS and the mobo powers up with no power on the GPUs yet so the cards won't get detected.
But I got a simple solution also for that. A little LC delay loop soldered to the green ATX wire, that gives a few second delay before the mobo turning on.

Is there any solution for the non ref 56 cards that have a default of 800 mem and can’t go past 900-950?
I got four of these crap cards any thoughts ? Three are red devil 56 power colors and one is a sapphire pulse
There are 2 reasons for the limited OC.
1. Stock timings of V56 cards are tighter, you have to losen them to be able to oc over 950MHz
2. HBM2 voltage is less on V56 cards. You may try flashing the bios from the V64 version of your card, but do it at your own risk.

Anyone has any idea about what could be causing this?

This could be caused by the known bug that the driver installer sometimes does not copy atiadlxx.dll and atiadlxy.dll to sysWOW64.
Check them if they are missing. If they are there also check the filedate, because they might be from an older version.
Copy atiadlxy.dll from the C:\AMD\... folder to SysWOW64 and rename it to atiadlxx.dll and also copy it again with the original name (atiadlxy.dll).

Why do people mess w/ max rpm?

Because if I remember correctly stock max rpm is only ~2500, however physically it's ~4500.
In the case you start with a popular PPT for example the 1408/905/1100 one, it's important to be able to change max fan rpm limit to keep it at lower temps.

I don't know, but you can make one yourself w/ ODNT.  Just run it in admin mode, and click on the menu icon in the top left - you should see something in the menu like 'PPT editor'.  I would suggest selecting the option to use your GPUs bios as the source, then just update the populated values w/ your ODNT settings above (once fixed.)

ODNT's PPT editor lacks some important values like max fan rpm.
I suggest using this one
But don't touch values that you don't know!

Shouldn't we revive this thread now that people can finetune the old GDDR5 public timings with amd mem tweak? Smiley

your temps are high and hw errors in teamred miner is a bad sign

7 HWs for 3 days runtime is not that bad actually.

Did someone try this tool on RX560 cards? With the custom bios i am getting 14.8 MHs  per card on eth/etc... What could this tool do?

If you read through the thread (at least partly) you get an idea how you can add a few percent to your hashrate using this tool.
In general you can expect to gain a few more percent by fine tuning the public modified straps for Polaris cards.

I have a few Vega 56 Airboost cards (hynix memory) in place. Unfortunately the seems to be weaker than all others. No timinings are working stable currently which I have been able to found. Somebody had the same problems like me and got maybe a little bit further?

Maybe the problem is that hbm temp goes too high. Check it in HWinfo

what fisrst try chg? RP? REF? with  Huh step . 1?

I did paste a picture from wikipedia with formulas.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Mem Tweak - Read/modify mem timings on the fly - [Vega Friendly] [Win/Linux] on: April 25, 2019, 02:53:38 PM
vega 56-hynix
i use this setup
--rp 14 --rc 42 --rfc 156 --rrds 4 --rrdl 5 --rrd 3 --rcdrd 18 --rcdwr 3 --REF 15600
work 10-12 hour with 2-3 error and block all comp and dont go tu restart:(

what i must chage? what step i must use?
etc: rp14 to rp15
rfc 156 chg to rfc 157 ? or i must use 168 or higher?

what step use ? 1? or nubmer /with 8 or 16?

--rp 14 --rc 42 --rfc 156 --rrds 4 --rrdl 5 --rrd 3 --rcdrd 18 --rcdwr 3 --REF 15600 - work but i must little downclock this, but i dont know how and what...

i try down mem 1100 to 1090mhz but again have error
i try give more  power. now work with 870mv and i try with 920mv but again have error

pls any tutotrial what formula work with rp rc rfc ref  etc....

read back a little for formulas

if your hynix memclk is really 1100 then and it's stable at stock timings, then rfc and rc and rcdwr are too low imho.
