241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC or Love on Valentine's day. What's your pick? on: February 14, 2024, 04:33:53 PM
As a married person, this is not even a question for me. I would give up everything I ever owned, to spend one more day with my wife, she is the clear winner. Of course I work hard and provide for our family because I want to provide for her, and I want her to live the best life.

However, if I am not going to spend quality time with her on valentines day then why am I even working? What is the point of it? The best thing to do in this case would be just spend time with her, for OP's case just find love. You may take a week off, or you may not because there is no guarantee that you will find someone there. In a situation where you already have someone, it is easy choice, but when you don't have someone then you may not know the real answer.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 14, 2024, 03:55:24 AM
Who hasn't had ups and downs? I think he's talented, and his commitment to Chelsea until 2031 indicates he's committed. I think that Pochettino's setup hasn't helped him flourish, especially in terms of finding a striker to finish his opportunities. I understand the frustration. I hope Enzo's best is yet to come with time and the correct changes. Chelsea's financial stability should allow these strategic changes, so don't rule them out

Barcelona's interest shows his potential, right? I think Chelsea can recover if they can handle their current issues, especially maximizing Enzo's potential. For now, patience and support are key
Obviously he signed a contract so he can't leave whenever he pleases, but if he is too upset, the new thing that the players do is they go to public (media usually) and say that they are unhappy and wish to leave.

This causes some trouble with the player and the team, and the team punishes him, not play him, even give him fine and not pay a weeks worth salary or something, but eventually the team has to realize that they can't force a player to play, so if the player goes public, then he will get offers and when Chelsea realizes they can't get something out of him, they will just end up cashing him out. He was paid a lot, way too much, and expectations from him is too high, more than what he could provide for the team.
This has been good if you ask me because teams could sell any player they want, or just not sign any player they want, so why can't the players have the same rights?

If Chelsea wanted to sell him today, there are really not many things that Enzo can do, well he has to agree to go to other team as well, but Chelsea would have shown the world his value, at that point he is the unwanted man in a team he is forced to stay, if you are getting paid 15 million a year, and Chelsea agrees to sell you to a team that offers 8 million a year to you, why should you leave 7 million a year on the table? Eden Hazard literally retired that way, by just collecting cash every month from Madrid without even playing there for many years.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changing initial option and losing the bet on: February 14, 2024, 03:21:24 AM
It is definitely a sad feeling and I agree that it doesn't really make it any better, it feels like you should almost always go with the first option, that would make things a lot better for you and the result will be more right than wrong. I get that people could lose bets, that's normal and you can't expect to win it always, but when you change your decision, 50%+ of the time you lose.

The first one into your mind must have a proper reason that you would make some money and that is why I think it should be the most important part. I get that it is going to be hard and you are going to end up with a result that will not be easy, but as long as you are dealing with a good bet, just don't change what you are betting on at all.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most underrated sport? on: February 14, 2024, 12:52:24 AM
I still think that F1 is not getting the attention it deserves. I get that it's wagered a bit, and I get that it is not too much "betting" when we are talking about stuff like Max winning almost all races and all that, but at the same time it is going to be fun to decide on other stuff, those still matter.

Like who would make a podium is usually unknown, we have seen Checo miss the podium so many times, and we have seen so many different cars, from Mercedes to Aston to McLaren to Ferrari, many cars made it to podium last season, and if you knew that, you would do fine. This is why I still think that there could be a lot more betting going on with that sprot and yet when I look at it there isn't really that much attention. Plus NFL as well, that doesn't get all too much attention in crypto world, it is a major sports in the USA.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on Social Media platforms on the Web 3? on: February 14, 2024, 12:19:02 AM
When people are outright against some stuff, I see that as stupidity. I am not saying the ones that currently exists needs to be the ones, but before facebook there were a dozen other famous stuff that didn't get as big as facebook, or before twitter, or even tiktok, there were hundreds and hundreds of places like tiktok, but none of them got as big as tiktok at all.

This is why it's quite important to remember that what we have in this part of the crypto world may not look all that amazing at the moment, but it also means that we are not going to end up with anything that would never happen, we could one day have a good one that is popular in the future as well. So, always keep that in mind when you are investing into something.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano vs Ethereum on: February 13, 2024, 05:59:42 PM
I personally prefer ETH but I also do understand the people who would prefer ADA as well. The difference is that ETH is already high, and yeah I can see it go 2x higher easily, probably more eventually but it will go 2x easily that is guaranteed, then some more depending on the market whereas ADA could go 3x easily, and then some more and that depends on the market as well but the 3x part is the difference.

So, if you have an investment option of 2x vs 3x then you would prefer the 3x and I think I can understand that. The thing is that we are going to end up with a lot more trouble if we are not careful, so ADA has more risk, this is why I prefer ETH since while it may go up less, there is a less chance it goes down.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 13, 2024, 05:42:43 PM
If Jude is out, then he is out and they can't really do anything about it. Dude is getting injured quite a lot there, well famously all players who goes to Real for the first time ends up getting injured here and there, because they do build a lot of physique in that club and some just can't handle the workload and get injured. Look at Rodrygo and Vinicious as well and on their first years, they got injured a lot as well.

But, if you want to retire with a physique like Ronaldo, then you need to keep working. All in all, I think it is going to be a tough thing to do but you are going to end up with a good result eventually. This is why Real will get the win, no matter if Jude is playing or not, that will not matter at all.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: February 13, 2024, 05:14:53 PM
I can see why, it is a scary thing to do because there are so many people who lost money while trying to trade, that's the most important reason to be fair. I get that it feels like sometimes it is not that easy to handle, and sometimes we lose money, because of that we should consider the possibility that we are going to end up with a loss here and there, and we need to be more careful about it as well.

I know that we are going to have some issues with this, and this is why we need to focus on how to make some money, but trading is not that easy for many people so they do not make that money from there. It is better to find another way, like long term holding, if you are not sure if you are a good trader or if you want to do it.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 13, 2024, 04:36:33 PM
Not really, it just makes a lot more people live with minimum wage. It is a good thing to increase the minimum wage so that people are not poor, free market has some stops, regulations are a must, if it was 100% free, we would see 8 year olds working too, or people working all seven days, or people working 16 hour shifts, or people working for a penny.

There are some must have regulations and minimum wage is one of them, if there is no minimum wage, I bet you that companies would pay less than what we have as minimum wage right now and people would be in poverty. We should realize that we need to make it higher at times, to catch up with inflation, it is not a good thing for the economy but it is a must to protect the people.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where Do You Want To Go To If You Win $2 million On Lottery on: February 13, 2024, 03:53:24 AM
It would really be the type of money that would mean you could retire but also what else are you going to do when you retire? I have always thought about this type of question, not even with 2 million, even with 200k I would be able to retire in my nation, it is not about being able to, it's about would you want to? Like maybe I won't work as hard as I do, but could you even retire.

At certain age I would retire for sure, like when I get older, in 10+ years I will definitely retire, I would just relax at home, drink coffee, and watch tv all day long without a doubt. However, if we remove that from the question, what would I do until then? Well I would probably just keep working, because otherwise I would be bored to death if I retire at this age.
251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hey! it's $50k today. on: February 13, 2024, 03:03:34 AM
I do not call this $50k was an expected one. Because, I was expecting a reverse before touching $50k levels through profit booking by both short and long term holders but surprisingly we are able to hold above $50k levels as of now. It seems now we may test $54k levels before seeing any short term corrections. But, we cannot be sure how market is going to be in ETF era. Because, we have all-new demand in bitcoin ecosystem which may help bitcoin to sustain in higher levels unusually.

Halving could be another reason along with increased number of bitcoin investors. Usually around the times of halving, bitcoin does trade up to the levels oh half of previous ATH but seems like we are going to new kind of market by upcoming halving. I am really excited to have bitcoin market near to ATH by the times of halving.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy bitcoin now? on: February 13, 2024, 01:33:21 AM
We should be a lot more careful about what we are doing and when we are trying to make predictions it is going to be a bit off for everyone. However, if we just end up buying bitcoin right now, then it should be quite well enough in the future and not have any trouble, it could very well be something that we could benefit from. I get that it is going to be hard to find capital to invest, but if you do then you are going to just want to buy and hold, if you hold for as long as you can then you are going to end up with a good profit.

There are people who just hold and getting rich by doing just that, nothing more. This is why when you are speculating, make sure that you have some bitcoins you are holding as well along with the plans of buying more regularly and especially on market dips.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: February 12, 2024, 06:50:54 PM
I mean Benzema could still very well not happy about his situation, there is nothing that indicates that he is happy there. The difference is that we are talking about him coming back, which means that at least he is trying to do something, and that should be all that we could hope for, or at least what his fans hope for.

Could he still not do well and just leave? That is a possibility and I understand that it may not be all that great, it could definitely result with him leaving again and hurting every fans hopes, but for him to just not leave completely and come back and try one more time is important. Also maybe all of that was just rumour and he had some personal stuff to take care of and he is back now? We couldn't know.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 12, 2024, 06:14:32 PM
Red cards are part of the game and the fact that Monaco won this is so much valuable for them, they are fighting for that second place and this win means a lot for them. It's like gaining six points instead of just getting three points and it's definitely an important win for them without a doubt. Obviously the red card mattered and obviously Nice got a lot of trouble because of that but it also doesn't mean that they are going to end up with a terrible result all that easily.

We should consider the fact that we are going to end up with some trouble one way or another, and we could definitely consider the situation to be sensitive as well, I hope that it could get to a point where Monaco could also take over as well.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: keep pleasures without incomes aside and Chase after profits on: February 12, 2024, 05:56:23 PM
This is the type of ideology that doesn't show enough respect to humans. The idea is that you shouldn't have any pleasures that doesn't bring you income, meaning that you do not deserve a hobby that you spend money on and not make any money from. Why? Why are we like that? Even animals have fun at times, why do we feel like we are not deserving of a life that is better? Why must we think that money is so valuable thing that we can't make it work any other way? Why must we think that people who do not work hard or work at a great job, do not deserve life?

It's really a shame that humanity came to a point where we do not care about anyone but ourselves, we need to do better, we need to improve the world to be a lot better for our kids and instead we ruined it for them.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: February 11, 2024, 08:03:33 PM
It is obvious that Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are both having one of the all time best seasons ever. They are averaging close to 2.65 or so, both teams all together as well. That is not normal and it is not a simple points average. Surely they were the best teams in the league history before this as well but I do not remember any team any time in any league where there were 2 teams averaging this much points together.

Usually it is either no team that plays like this or maybe one if they have a good season but not two teams. Hopefully it will get to a point where we could see the situation changing as much as possible, and because of that we are going to end up with something that would not be all that easily handled while betting.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do coaches get sacked over poor performance of players? on: February 11, 2024, 05:16:54 PM
Plenty of people gave the reasons, but I still think that a worker point of view is the rightest one. If the company is not doing good, is it because of one employee, would be able to fire 20 employees and hire new 20 people and hope that it would do fine?

I mean laying off people exists, and waiving players too, but firing your workers and getting new ones all at once never exists, it never happens, I haven't heard about it. Whereas, firing the manager that does worse, and then hiring a new one is simpler. Doesn't mean it would be solved. Like look at United for example, ETH is not a great manager ı can give you that, but not like United has a good team neither, they really suck with each player and for each position as well.
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: February 11, 2024, 03:52:33 PM
Most people think that you have to do one or the other. Just do whatever you want, wake up, go check the prices, go check the market, go check your balance and decide what you want to do. If you want to trade that day? Then great, go trade some that day, if you don't want to trade and just hold? Great then just hold. You could think of BTC as the only coin that you need, so never keep your money at stablecoisn or fiat for too long but aside from that the rest is understandable situations to be fair.

There is no reason to pick or choose, just do whatever you seem to think would be the best way and you could end up doing that, it would not be all that confusing and not all that life breaking situation if you do one or the other.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: February 11, 2024, 02:10:21 PM
That depends on where you look at it, but there are bull periods which should be the best time to invest, obviously. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't invest in any other time, but it is definitely not a difficult period to make money. Look at the last 2 days or so, it has gone to 47k+ right? That means if you were trading during that time, you would have made money. You do not have to know it before hand, you just need to start trading meanwhile and you would make some money.

I think it's quite important to make some good income with it, and that should very well be the most important part. I believe that it is going to take some time, but it will not be all that impossible to see it change, we need to just focus on the ups.
260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which sort of investor are you? on: February 11, 2024, 01:09:06 PM
It is clear that we are talking about a situation that would help us on the long run, it is going to be helpful for everyone. It is going to be a situation where it would take a big load off people to know what is perfect for them. Just because some other person made some money with some other method, doesn't mean that you should do that neither, you should avoid that as much as you can, and just find your own method if you can. This would give you a good amount of chance to make some money.

If you keep focusing on what others do, then you will not find what you are good at but if you keep testing many stuff until you find what you like, that would be quite good for you because eventually you will find a way to make money.
