1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: Today at 07:05:57 PM
the odds for today are really very low and so maybe it's not worth betting a lot. I preferred to do a multiple with Barcelona, PSG and manchester united at odd 3.75

I was very undecided about barcellona, without messi and without piquet but the dynamo doesn't seem too strong to me. i think juventus win easy today and barcellona need win
to continue to be first in the group

I read that Barca coach might rest players because there’s been so many games in a short space of time. I don’t think it’s a good idea to overload players, it’s a long season. I’ve had an accumulator & I’ve left Barca out of it just incase.

4  Economy / Gambling / Where can I make this US Election bet? on: November 23, 2020, 10:34:10 PM
I really want to make this US Elections prop bet, but I can’t see any Bitcoin sportsbooks who are offering it.

Adkinsbet is offering odds but they only just registered on the forum last week so I’d really prefer not to use them. I believe they were recently under a DDOS attack so best not to start betting with them.

Merit available for anybody who can suggest a reputable BTC sportsbook who are offering the above bet.

Thanks in advance.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 23, 2020, 08:03:58 PM
Coinbase don’t just confiscate innocent peoples bitcoin or limit their accounts.

OP, you don’t have to answer here but ask yourself a few things.

  • Are the coins in your wallet clean?
  • Did you scam somebody?
  • Have you used fake KYC docs to verify your account?
  • Are you accessing Coinbase via VPN from a country where bitcoin is banned?
  • Are you money laundering?
  • Are you part of a crime syndicate?

Like I said Coinbase do not do this to people who aren‘t doing anything wrong or against their T&C’s.

My amount is not that high, I do not get to that much, but I buy a little every month

All that matters is you have some skin in the game. Your money is better in bitcoin that in the bank, especially at the start of a bull run.

Anyone else buying dip, or is it just me ?

Been buying every week on & off since mid 2014. Spent £600 on the ol’ corn last week. I tell myself that I’m done buying all the time but I always slip back. Bitcoin is like a drug to me!
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 23, 2020, 02:06:41 PM
How’s it going boys?

I was just bored & thought I’d do this for you.

When the pool started pay in was 0.0045BTC which at the time was approx £40.
See the bolded below I added to hilarious’ post to show the current fiat value of the prizes. Bitcoin price has risen dramatically & I expect it to continue to rise, by the end of the season I think we’ll see around $50,000 per bitcoin.

But if the prizes were paid out right now they’d be the following (in bold).

As long as the BTC price doesn't go crazy then it will probably 0.0045 as that's a little over £40 right now.

1st 0.1 - £1.385
2nd 0.05 - £692
3rd 0.04 - £554
4th 0.03 - £415
5th 0.02 - £277

6th 0.01 - £138
7th 0.01 - £138
8th 0.01 - £138
9th 0.01 - £138
10th 0.01 - £138

As you can see the prizes now look a lot better than they were when we started the season. They’ll be at least double that again by May.

Good luck everybody.

I’ve gone for Liverpool to win, would you expect anything else?  Grin

I’m not buying into this Leicester hype, they’ve had 8 penalties this season, I think we’ll beat them. We have lots of injuries but the expected team will be something like this -

Alisson, Milner, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Shaqiri, Jota, Firmino, Mane

Salah misses the game due to covid, Thiago & Henderson will be back in a week or so. Trent AA will be back in 2 weeks. We will miss VVD & Gomez no doubt but the above team is more than good enough to beat pretty much everything in the PL.

3-0

No VVD, Gomez, Thiago, Trent, Salah, Henderson

NO PROBLEM

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered the “gold” of crypto investment? on: November 22, 2020, 04:00:36 PM
Both are better investments than leaving your money lying around in government banks. Bitcoin is the best investment around though, just look at the growth in price since 2009 when the very first block was mined.
Buy some bitcoin, it’s the best & most price appreciative asset over time that exists.

Observing $18,319!

After falling to $17,7xx this morning (UK time) it looked like we might be set for a significant correction which I was disappointed at the thought of but accepted it was possibly due after we have had a significant upwards surge in recent times with no retrace. It seems that there might just be strong support & even a big willingness to buy in that range.

If we can hold $18,000 over the next day or two we could even be set for a test of the ATH before the end of the month, quite incredible really.

Everything is going exactly to plan.

Keep HODLING boys!

Dedicating this bull run to myself. I put in the work, I held through two dumps to $3k, I had to put up with dumb ass shitcoiners and others saying #Bitcoin  is dead. I didn’t fucking sell, I kept fucking stacking.
