Salah scoring 4 on international duty, Szoboszlai scored 2 as Hungary topped their group in Euro 24 qualifying. Luis Diaz scored 2 in a big win against Brazil, Darwin Nunez bagged against Argentina.
Liverpool players on fire during the international break. We take on Man City next weekend, huge game. Will be tough to get a positive result at The Etihad but we look in good shape.
Come on you Reds!

I mostly bet on football specifically European club football. I despise international breaks and I don’t really like betting on them. By far I prefer club football.
When there is potential money to be made though, I will delve into international football but it’s nowhere near as enjoyable as regular European club football.

January 10th 2024 is the day the SEC will approve a raft of spot bitcoin ETF’s. Are you ready, do you have enough bitcoin? @BritishHodlSo the SEC is choosing to require the #Bitcoin Spot ETF’s to use what’s known as “Cash Creates” mechanism. This is BY FAR the best solution over the “in-kind” option to increase simplicity and increase regulatory oversight over un-regulata-ble worldwide #Bitcoin market. As usual the Doom & Gloom Boomers are out in force citing “manipulation” when actually this method - the “cash creates” method as preferred by @GaryGensler is actually the one that’s better. Imaging this, you have a sweet jar where you save your sweets, and your sweets are truly high in quality. If you were going to maintain the quality of sweets in your jar, would you prefer that a) someone give you money, you go buy the specific sweets and put them in the jar for safe keeping. Or b) anyone can put sweets in the jar with you only being able to eye ball it as they’re putting them in your jar? Of-course it’s A. Well, that’s what cash creates is, it means as shares are bought, the authorised party gives the ETF provider cash, that provider is now responsible for acquiring the #Bitcoin using the properly regulated US channels - ie through @coinbase and then secure it for the shareholders. Doing it the other way, ETF’s could go to OTC desks anywhere else in the world and acquire #Bitcoin from unregulated markets and try dump it into the ETF. This way, all steps are US regulated. The other way works with stocks and treasuries, which are all listed under US law, or some governable law, that’s not the case with #Bitcoin being a worldwide market. It opens up a little more potential volatility in daily trading as the ETF is actively trading in the market as and when it receives cash. It also allows for a time gap between cash insertion and #Bitcoin acquired. This is normal with any ETF and the risks/volatility will be mitigated as per the prospectus of the ETF. It’s amazing how far Doom & Gloom Boomers will go - I don’t like the @SECGov any more than the next #Bitcoin -er but this move is a move in the right direction to minimise fraud and manipulation in the market & keep everything governable. Wake up and stop reading Doom & Gloom Boomer tweets. https://x.com/britishhodl/status/1725632755772305687

Of course a big winner can say no to a public presentation. It’s their personal right to anonymity.
I would definitely want to avoid a public presentation if I won the lottery or a huge bet.
I would not want the pressure of people finding out that I had won so much.

This topic really needs to continue hence this bump.
I would like to hear opinion from the following members. mprep, wwzsocki, LFC_Bitcoin, klarki, The Sceptical Chymist, DarkStar_, Hhampuz, imhoneer, CryptopreneurBrainboss, Xal0lex, Best_Change, andy_pelevin , KTChampions, Coin-1, Bitcoin_Arena, tranthidung, tvplus006, dkbit98, witcher_sense, DdmrDdmr, madnessteat, 1miau, FontSeli, YOSHIE, jokers10, zasad@, bullrun2020bro, light_warrior.
These are the people who Ratimov trust in his trust list. I will yet to see which of these already had their opinion in this topic [will mark it later] but most of these members either are not aware of this topic or ignoring the topic because one of their vote may reduce if they give an opinion and if goes against Ratimov. I really hope that's not the case. If it is not, then I would like your opinion [Please read the first topic carefully and make a response. Let's hope Ratimov was not using you all too as he was using the local moderators to achieve his evil goal].
I have been aware of this topic for some time but chose not to get involved as I very rarely venture into these type of things these days. It’s just not something that I want to spend my time doing these days. However, I will clarify my position on the topic here: I have had a good relationship with Ratimov over the years, we have exchanged PM’s many times and he was indeed on my trust list for a long time. The plagiarism accusations didn’t bother me too much. I think it’s far too heavily enforced on the forum. What he was doing was perhaps a little under-hand but he took pride in getting a lot of Merit and being liked on the forum so whatever. After seeing the threats, his incorrect use of leaving trust comments, abusive private messages to others and drama he was getting involved in I decided to remove him from my trust list. I saw that a week or so after he retaliated by returning the favour. I have nothing against Ratimov, I don’t want to get involved in any drama but perhaps he’s not the man I thought he was sadly so I stand by my removing of him from my trust list. This is the only post I will make on this topic.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction

$45,000 would be nice, really nice. We’ll have to wait and see what happens before the end of the year. I don’t think AI can predict the bitcoin price trajectory with any great accuracy but it’ll be interesting to see if this prediction is accurate.
$45,000 is definitely possible and I’ll be very happy if AI is right with their prediction. We haven’t got long left in the year now so let’s see what happens.

I won't place any bets now it's too far away. hehe See the picture of the odds. Do you want to take a risk on Liverpool with odds of 4.80? Statistically Liverpool is not bad even only 1 loss against Spurs that was full of controversy, so by taking that risk you still have hope that Liverpool can win. Maybe I will try to make a choice on Liverpool in this 13th match. I’m a huge Liverpool fan, it’s my biggest passion along with bitcoin but I am not confident about us beating Man City away. We generally do well against them at Anfield and have beaten them regularly. We have not beaten them at The Etihad in the Premier League since 2015. Man City look a bit shaky, they don’t look as good as last season. They have lost in the PL twice already and looked very vulnerable against Chelsea. Liverpool have a better attack than Chelsea so we could definitely cause them problems. It’s just not a bet I would make but having said that, 4.80 is incredible odds considering Liverpool are a very good team.

Well it turned out good for whoever made the bet, it’s not a bet I would have placed though. It all depends on personal circumstances, can he afford to lose that much money if Barcelona would have won or the match was a draw. If he can afford that potential loss then the bet isn’t a problem.
I just think the odds of less than 3/1 is too much of a risk because that game could easily have gone wrong for him. Barcelona are a good team, on any other day they could have at least drawn.
I’m not here to judge anybody though, we don’t know the bettors personal circumstances and if he is wealthy. Always gamble responsibly, don’t bet with more than you can afford to lose.

Israel 0-0 Switzerland after 25 minutes.
I know Israel have more important things on their minds right now but I’m watching this game, really rooting for them.
They need a win, qualifying for the Euros could provide some people with some much needed happiness.

Real Madrid is trying to find a replacement for Dani Carvajal. Recently one important thing for Real Madrid has been to have a good right-back player for a long time and that's why they are trying to find a young player for it. Trent Alexander-Arnold is the player they want to hire and Real Madrid is ready to pay 80 million euros for him. Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world, there is no doubt about that I think. As big as they are though, they will never get Trent Alexander Arnold to leave Liverpool. He is born and bred in the city, Liverpool is his team. Besides £70,000,000 wouldn’t even buy his left leg No way he goes to Real Madrid and I would take bets on that.

Saw this and found it interesting - @FootRankings EURO 2024 - Projected pots, according to current standings. - Türkiye still in Pot 1, but they will most likely end up in Pot 2 - Spain with easy fixtures in good position to move to Pot 1 - Romania and Slovenia currently in Pot 2, Ukraine and Wales holding direct entry spots https://x.com/footrankings/status/1724773493512798644Obviously it’s based on current standings and teams qualified and others in a good place to qualify. Could change a little with remaining games results but it’s there or thereabouts.

Hello on Page 1001! Some kind of special credit that you guys have not only reached quantitative measures but qualitative ones as well. You got the numbers backing your presence and longevity, but the Sportsbet name also has a certain standard of trust on this forum. Some things you just can't buy; that's a testament to the investment (especially of time) you guys have made on this forum. My favourite forum memory with Sportsbet is one of my earliest. Hard to beat winning a forum contest, getting flown to Doha for the CWC final, meeting SB top dogs super super passionate about crypto. After (lots of) liquid refreshment, heading to the stadium, shouting hoarse over a crazy noisy night wearing Liverpool shirt in the middle of tens of thousands of rowdy Flamengo fans (I was half-afraid to cheer tbh!), and then celebrating the cup late into the night walking in that sea of disappointed Brazilians. It wasn't even just the football atmosphere, but that Sportsbet's owners actually came down to chow down kebabs and beer on the streets with a complete normie, just because of their passion for bitcointalk and crypto. And then getting to meet Steve all over again later on, meeting up with forum friends? Cherry on top. Great post, buwaytress. I remember that forum competition and prize very well. I lost out on the trip by one goal but if I was going to lose out to anybody, I’m so glad it was you, a fellow Liverpool fan and top guy.
