@dothebeats - Just search google for e-Peso bill in Philippines and take your pick of various stories. My personal feeling is that the e-Peso will never get off the ground as government controlled currency, but it does increase awareness and knowledge of crypto in general, which is also good for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin and crrypto will be the future of remittances into the Philippines, but the country has a long way to go for the average man on the street to use - he will want Pesos, either in Fiat money or something similar to Gcash / Paypal, which is what I am developing with Tagcash.com

and im sure politics will be the first user of this e-peso bill Cheesy

Just wait until I can do a "private" presentation to some of the top politicians here. ALL of them did not budge about the foreign currency accounts, because that's probably where all of them keep their money.

Sabihin mo na rin sa kanila na wag na wag silang magkukurakot gamit ang epeso dahil siguradong huli sila  Grin

Sa tingin nyu guys maipasa ang bill about Epeso?

What is money?
Money is a social convention in the sense that it is not valuable in itself, but valuable because people agree to take it as valuable. It is a medium of exchange, a tool that allows us to trade with one another without having to resort to barter, which inefficiently depends on the double coincidence of wants.

so in short explanation, magtatagumpay ang E-peso if people here in the philippines are willing to use it.

Yun ang tanong kong willing ba na gumamit. Halos lahat gumagamit na ng internet hindi malayo na gagamit at gagamitin natin to.

As of right now while I'm posting this:

The maximum number of bitcoins that you can have in your wallet is a bit less than 13,364,954.77726004 BTC.

That limit increases by 25 BTC approximately every 10 minutes or so right now.

The rate of increase on the limit will be cut in half from 25 BTC to 12.5 BTC starting sometime late in the year 2016.

After that the increase on the limit will be cut in half again approximately every 4 years until the final limit maximizes at something less than 20,997,254.75406004 BTC

Wow really big numbers huh, tnx for the info Smiley

Of course, to reach those limits, you first have to convince everyone that has any bitcoins to send them all to you.  Furthermore, you have to find all the lost private keys of those that have permanently lost access to their bitcoins.  In many cases this can only be accomplished if you can discover cryptographic weaknesses in the SHA-256, RIPEMD-160 and ECDSA algorithms.

hahaha if that is the case I will be contented for what I have haha.

Do you think magnanak pa ang mag pulitiko kapag E-Peso na ang gamit?haha syempre puro mga buwaya kasi yan eh haha

They will convert whatever paper pesos they have to e-pesos. Then they will try to buy other crypto currencies with it on a foreign exchange, or an alt-exchange. Poof!

Or they will ask me to help them do it. I will ask them for 1% and some other favor in kind.

it might be a planet, but it will never be a world

correct sir, I agree with you. no one in the universe is beautiful as earth, Smiley

And how would you know that??? Did you personally inspect the 6-8 billion 'habitable' planets our galaxy has? And did you do the same for the other 100+ billion galaxies??? ... what an utterly ignorant statement :p

That is my own opinion, if for you there is beautiful than earth it''s your own opinion I respect that.  Smiley

I know there are many beautiful in the universe but they are not beautiful as earth because there is only one earth.  Smiley

Define beautiful. How can be you are so sure. There are trillions of planet in the Milky Way galaxy alone and 8.8 billion of this planets are earth size habitable planets located in goldilocks zone. And there are 100 - 200 billion galaxy in the in this Universe.

That is my own opinion, if for you there is beautiful than earth it''s your own opinion I respect that. Smiley
