261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An AUDIOBOOK of the Bitcoin Whitepaper narrated by the who's who of the industry on: March 26, 2019, 01:04:04 AM
From the title of the thread I thought that you are going to make an audio version of the original bitcoin whitepaper. And that could be quite good because most of the users in this forum have no idea about what Satoshi has done and what he wanted to do.
But what you are going to do something different and I'm sure that you won't even contact 13 of the most powerful crypto influencers. Anyway, the Idea seems bad.

That could have been a good idea of publishing an audio version of Bitcoin white paper. It is always easy to listen rather than reading the white paper.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Same Addy but different coins. BTC and BCH!!!! on: March 26, 2019, 12:50:36 AM
Hello folks. I received some BTC but after checking it on the Luxembourg  explorer, this came up:

All Blockchains
There are 2 blockchains with result(s) to your search '3Jt57eZZoxhw1z8CndcDpQA2K6ubBfGsL1' :
BTCAddress
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3Jt57eZZoxhw1z8CndcDpQA2K6ubBfGsL1
BCHAddress
https://www.blockchain.com/bch/address/3Jt57eZZoxhw1z8CndcDpQA2K6ubBfGsL1

How awesome is this and scary at the same time?

The BCH address (BCHAddress -  3Jt57eZZoxhw1z8CndcDpQA2K6ubBfGsL1 ) is empty so that's fine.  Anyways i have seen first time this type of issue.
Need to do some research on it.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend told me a new concept Lightning Network, but I don't fully understand on: March 26, 2019, 12:44:15 AM
Can someone explain it to me? I heard that the transaction speed would be much more faster, but I don't know how it works

As you know that bitcoin transaction speed is very low at times and in a real world scenario this is not good. For example , if you are standing in a queue to buy some tickets for a match in bitcoins, and each translocation taking 5 to 10 mins, this will surely not help.

Here is where the Lightning Network will help to quickly process the bitcoin transaction.
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: The end of all ends on: March 26, 2019, 12:40:08 AM
Hello!
We, all crypto users are wish a long life to bitcoin to it continue to bring us some extra profit on different ways. But one day something new will replace bitcoin. My question is - how many year you give to bitcoin before it will turn totally useless?

This is an interesting question but unfortunately no one can give you right answer for this.

If i ask you how many years, fiat will remain in use, no one has the answer for it. It is basically the demand of bitcoin which will determine the future of bitcoins.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another proof that cloud mining is a scam on: March 21, 2019, 02:15:41 PM
Quote

I really don't understand, it's already 2019 and people are still believing that cloud mining is still one way to earn and the best way to invest your money??? *face-palm*..

Actually it was not scam, but when the mining fee got higher and the price of bitcoin getting down.. So yeah..
I got like 3 times of my investment back in 2017 on hashflare.
But now, every cloud mining are almost scam  Sad

I never invested in cloud mining business because i feel it is sort of a scam. More of the sites collect the money from the people in name of mining and they exit when they got enough money.
On the other site, even if the site do not exit, the change in bitcoin prices make it difficult to get profit out of it.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: March 20, 2019, 04:30:25 PM
Personally, I do not believe that bitcoin transaction can be cancelled after it's sent.
My assumption is that ...miners start the mining of bitcoin immediately it's the sent button is clicked.
There's no way of knowing which miner so as to signify to the person to cancel the transaction or reverse it.
It's just too complicated.

I was thinking of what is the one drawback which bitcoin has ?  The only drawback is that if you sent the amount to wrong address or wrong amount to the right address even, the process cannot be reversed and therefore one should be extra careful when sending bitcoins to any address.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain Bitcoin mining equipment is expensive on: March 20, 2019, 04:22:24 PM
The majority of people will make much more money if they just use their money to buy bitcoin instead of buying bitmain hardware.  By the time you receive your hardware projected profits will already have dropped off a cliff.  Its just not worth it to get into mining unless you have a source of free or nearly free electricity.

Mining is not easy to do these days and this is more true for a common man. Electricity cost play a major role in deciding whether mining is feasible or not. I think also the hardware cost and the mining reward needs to be calculated before planning  to actually start the mining.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC Dominance will drop to 40%, what will happen? on: March 20, 2019, 04:18:11 PM
When bitcoin becomes too dominant the altcoin market falls which is bad overall as good alts like ethereum, eos, will also crash. 50% is just about right, if it gets lower then it's use as digital gold might waiver

I also think that too high BTC dominance or too low BTC dominance, both are not good for the crypto currency. Bitcoin dominance should remain between 45% to 55% as this is ideal percentage for the market to grow.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: March 20, 2019, 04:10:18 PM
I played about with Bitcoins and litecoins and Feathercoins back in 2013. These were the days when Bitcoin was pretty easy to obtain through online mining pools and faucets ect.  As time went by,  I lost interest in Crypto and kinda forgot about it until Bitcoin hit 19k in 2017 . By this time I had changed my computer and hard drives and along with it all my passwords and wallets and dat files,  to cut a long story short I searched all over for my old hardrives, ran recovery on one of the drives I had kept and found nothing I gave up searching and just got used to the fact that I had lost a lot of money.

Fast foward to 2019 we were cleaning out a cuboard and at the very back was a shoe box and in that shoebox were 3 hardrives one of which contained all my passwords, wallets and dat files for all my Bitcoins, Litecoin and Feathercoins. I may have lost out on when Bitcoin was at its best but I now have all the info I need. I have sold some of it and will hold the rest until Bitcoin goes up again and it will. The money I got from selling some of the bitcoin and litecoin even though not at its highest I basically got for doing nothing apart from online pool mining  and playing with faucets  back in 2013,  so im happy with it. Never give up if you have lost money on Cryptos and if you did what I did keep,  looking for that lost hardrive it will turn up eventully.  In 2019 it is so easy to buy and sell Bitcoions too and it was instant money from selling to transfering the moeny into paypal then into my bank account.  How things have changed for the better for cryotocoins Smiley

Don't give up, I like the sentence because it is a phrase that encourages us when facing difficulties or in a state of deterioration. The same is true of the situation of the crypto currency market which is experiencing a decline in prices. The story that you are telling is very inspiring to all of us that we cannot continue to dissolve in failure, because there is a further story that we must face.

Of course if you do not give up, then you will succeed one day. Just need to be focus on whatever you do.

I like reading a comic or a story from your life in the crypto world Grin, you don't need to be sorry and still to must believe if the Bitcoin price will go up again and indeed now it's not easy to get Bitcoin through online mining or faucets because a lot of fraud is happening right now . if you have a few coins in your wallet then stay patient and save them until the price of Bitcoin will to rise again.

Bitcoin price is low now but this situation will change soon. It is better to hold. We have survived 14 months in bear market and now it is just a matter of time that we will enter in bull market.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiners now labelled as Right-wing extremists! LoL on: March 20, 2019, 04:06:44 PM
It's sad to see that fact, every time there is a negative action, and the perpetrator has or uses bitcoin, for the means of crime. What is seen by the public is bitcoin, does not see what the motives of the perpetrators. Bitcoin is always a scapegoat

This is nothing new as many people who do not want bitcoin to grow spread such negative news about bitcoins. Extremists and criminals can use dollar also so how come bitcoin is assumed as bad if the criminals use it.

your experience is very interesting, drawing conclusions from the experience you tell me, in my opinion, we must always be careful in investing in the world of cryptocurrency and we must always be enthusiastic in any situation because prices can rise without us knowing it. keep trying and work hard I'm sure we will all get maximum results. Cool

Bitcoin trading / Investments etc are not an easy things and you cannot get rich from them in short term. These things requires experience and more the experience you have, more there will be chances that you gain  profit from bitcoins.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Hardfork, what is the true value of Bitcoin now? on: March 18, 2019, 03:52:20 PM
Hello friends. I am a new member asking for help.

Thanks to bitcoin, I learned about this forum. So it can be said that Bitcoin is a great thing to help us know each other and understand more about Blockchain technology.
All of us on this forum are aware of Bitcoin and Etherum. And surely the new participants in this forum also heard from Hardfork a few times?

We know that since the advent of Bitcoin, the value of Bitcoin has increased greatly, but there have been deep declines. In addition to market factors, Hardfork times also make Bitcoin weak. So if Bitcoin doesn't have Hardfork, what is its real value?

I really want to know the thorough analysis of this so that I myself will be more knowledgeable about it. We wish everyone help

the true value of bitcoin is always what someone is willing to give you for it, in the future you can expect big issues to that, because the US dollar will become a questionable global currency.

Dollar will lose its value with the passage of time and eventually it will be replaced by the Bitcoins.  Any currency cannot rule the market forever and time has come where we will see the downfall of dollar and the rise of crytpo currencies.

hello everyone!
few days ago my friend told me to create account on cryptoesto.com because it is better than other exchanges. I was created new  on cryptoesto.com and also i am hold 10 btc in my walllet. Now the cryptoesto site is not available on google Cry
can anyone give me personal opinion what i do now Huh

Are you kidding? This looks like fake, as you are a newbie then how come you had 10btc? I am damn sure you are lying because even a .50 BTC holders have a lot of knowledge in cryptocurrency and you are blindly posting such stuff is not at all possible.
Yes,i agree with you and i cannot believe that anyone deposit 10btc only for friend request. There have lot of trusted site or wallet on online plartform and if you deposit 10 btc any account need to fill keyc otherwise your friend and cryptoesto is totally fake and scam

I really wonder if this is a true story from the OP. No one can be so silly to deposit 10 bitcoins to a site which has zero reputation.  Huh
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: FRUSTRATED AT THE MARKET. on: March 16, 2019, 05:54:07 PM
I think the why most of you are being angry is because you got into cryptocurrency with intention of making quick money, and mostly it is newbies and jnr members that I see complaining a lot about the price that is down. Maybe if you had a different intention apart from that, you wouldn’t find it very disturbing that the price is down.

At first, Bitcoin wasn’t made with the intention of creating a place for people to make money, cause I’m very sure that when Satoshi was creating it, what he had in mind was to create a means of quick and cheap transactions. Not what you guys have turned it into this time around.

Bitcoin and crypto market is not for those who want quick money. The people who are getting reward from this market are mostly those who have patience and ability to hold for a long time.

Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

Bitcoin will Never End
