2904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin core will dissapear - miners will switch to Bitcoin Classic on: January 23, 2016, 03:03:20 PM
mayax like some other people has said, change the tittle, this is nothing but speculative FUD.
You don't have conclusive proof of this happening, therefore you aren't doing a good job with such a tittle. Bitcoin Classic will disappear like useless trojan it is, just like XT. The scaling roadmap of the people that actually have talent (Core devs) will continue.

I saw your PM and you said my posting history is not good enough. Can I ask what's wrong with my posting history? I've got better posts than the guy posting above for example.

This video is a perfect example of people not understanding the ramifications and importance of disrupting technology:

This is how Bitcoin haters act nowadays. They are entitled, ignorant, and think they know better. These guys deserve to stay poor. We are the pioneers and they are the dumbfounded spectators that will not make it.

I would like to join this campaign, PM please.
2908  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: January 22, 2016, 06:32:52 PM
Day trading requires a lot of luck tho. You are just counting on the market continuing acting as it has been for a while. You are just hoping that the little up and downs which are nothing but market noise, hit your buy and sell orders.

Sure, if you put a sell order right now at around 395, chances are it will correct again at around 385, you can scalpel those 10 dollars in gains, working with a 0.5 bet, that's just a very conservative one and you would need to do it a lot of times throught the day, if you want more gains you need a bigger margin = more risk = chances to have your 0.5 BTC out of the game.
2909  Economy / Speculation / Market noise is irrelevant. on: January 22, 2016, 06:22:58 PM
You are losing money by not buying Bitcoin at 350, 400 or 500. In 6 months we'll see how trying to find a perfect price was a waste of time, and we were now still in the accumulation period. The big pump will happen around the summer, who knows if before, during or after the halving, but something will happen, and the current price will look like a massive steal, therefore all of this worry about 100 dollars up or down is nothing in the long term.

This guy is an absolute moron, and is known for some embarrassing quotes which are false claims about a variety of stuff not only involving Bitcoin but other topics.

A clear enemy that's scared of Bitcoin, just like Jamie Dimon and the rest of JP Morgan pigs.
2911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CNBC: Bitcoin is Alive !!! on: January 22, 2016, 06:16:06 PM
CNBC is pretty positive lately, also forbes, in case you missed it:

Is Bitcoin Dead? $1 Billion In Startup Investment Says No

What we are seeing now is a clear war between 2 fronts, the media that has an agenda to weapon Bitcoin articles that contain massive amount of blatant FUD, and the media that stays objective and tells it like it is.
2912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you keep block size at 1MB if that makes bitcoin value rise? on: January 22, 2016, 06:09:32 PM
Bitcoin has value precisely because thanks sto the small blocks, it allows for a decentralized network, so people cna run one node on theri bedrooms. The day you cant run a node on their bedrooms, Bitcoin will become a centralized monster, and I will dump all my coins. Thats why conservative block size is a fundamental requirement for the well being of Bitcoin's network.
2913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is their anyway to get my BTC back from an account that isn't being used? on: January 22, 2016, 05:59:08 PM
Post the address that you used so we can look it up on a blockchain explorer site such as blockchain.info, but usually the story is simple: If you send the coins to an address where you don't control the private keys for, chances are your coins can be potentially lost.
2914  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 21, 2016, 07:03:27 PM
At first I was attracted to Bitcoin because of the price... well I had no idea and I saw the price going up and said well, why im not getting rich too?

Then I got more involved and understood the technology and philosophy behind it. Now I consider myself a pioneer even tho I don't have many BTC but im already here, so I am here before the majority and own some modest amount. I know in the future my holdings will be way more appreciated as people catch up and inevitable the price will go up.
2915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / This is the Paypal killer on: January 21, 2016, 06:59:21 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zVzw912wPo

Bitcoin decentralized with conservative block size so people can run their nodes at home, and Lightning Network on top delivering instant and cheap transactions world wide. Same functionality as Paypal but backed by a decentralized open source currency instead of backed by banks and their money-making machines and anti-privacy software. Anyone can start sending and accepting payments without the consent of anyone.

This my friends is the future. I can't wait for more updated news this year on this. Lets keep positive and support Core + LN and we will win against the Jamie Dimons of the world.
2916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is growing faster than Bitcoin on: January 21, 2016, 06:54:38 PM
PayPal is good making their users feel safe just like banks are good making their users feel safe. They use a honesty mask and make themselves look like an impenetrable vault and regular people believe in them because we were all educated to do so.

Bitcoin's acceptance isn't being hindered by block size issues. When people first get to know and start using Bitcoin, they might not even know what a block is. People will only get to know these issues with Bitcoin if they start using it and investigate the currency, at which point they're probably already actively using Bitcoin in their lives.

The biggest issue is, as said, low merchant acceptance.

Virtual currencies will kill PayPal and fiat. However, Bitcoin might not be that currency, and we might not be here to witness that.

Why not Bitcoin? Bitcoin + Lightning Network is the real Paypal killer. Until then we will possibly remain rather small, but that is actually good news since it only means we have more time to benefit from being there before the average joe jumps in. We are still early adopters. There will be no excuse to not accept BTC once LN is working. It will faster and cheapter than anything else.
2917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard Fork is not happening... on: January 21, 2016, 06:51:30 PM
It seems very obvious to me what they are trying to do. They first create a fictional problem (block size is too small) then they offer solutions (XT then Classic). This is the same classic technique that they have been using to obtain control over anything that would defy the status quo.
2918  Economy / Economics / Re: Global stock markets tumble, oil became worthless... on: January 21, 2016, 06:49:58 PM
Someone posted a picture of their portfolio and absolutely everything was red except Bitcoin and Bitcoin investment trust holdings, the rest was a massacre. I wish I didn't had Mike Hearn ruining the price so the difference would have been even bigger.
Actually found the pic:

2919  Economy / Speculation / Re: China central bank going to release their own digital currency good for bitcoin? on: January 21, 2016, 03:43:07 PM
This is fantastic for Bitcoin. It will turn out to be just yet another altcoin run by incompetent drones without a cypherpunk backwrong which are the people that always deliver the best software in the open source field. This will be a great way to make some extra Bitcoin tho.
2920  Economy / Speculation / Re: Heading for the cliff. on: January 21, 2016, 03:40:23 PM
The block size fork is not happening anymore, people has woken up from the scam, miners in china said no to Classic, we will stick with core, we will get 0.12 soon, and we will keep growing and improving.
