Thanks a whole fucking hell of a lot for freerolls I CANNOT JOIN OR PLAY IN.  FUCK YOU!

I guess I'm glad the site is up.  Just kind of pathetic to have freerolls after I missed the ones I qualified for, like the 1.25K freeroll, but the site is still not working so the makeup freerolls are still completely unavailable to me.

Kind of pisses me off after I got up at 6 in the goddamn morning for the 1.25K, and again on Wednesday, and now I see people playing freerolls and I haven't got shit.

LOL.  Pretty typical.

TY MICON!

And how about this?  How about a fucking freeroll for people who have actually kept money on the site despite constant bullshit?

Oh, I guess that's too much to expect.  How about a makeup freeroll for the krillrolls we got fucked out of?

It isn't right to reschedule the krill freerolls before we are completely functional. When we do schedule the make up krill freerolls we have to give some time for players to learn of them. They will probably be around the same time of day as the missed ones and will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.

new super-DDoS facefucker (I am not quite sure if that is a technical term or more using the parlance of our times) *may* be blocking some legitimate players.  We are working on that in addition to getting the clients back and the withdraws and other support emails.

Just a bit of PR help here Micon, I've been defending you and the site for a couple days while you work fixing the issues.  You're coming at it all wrong by promising dates and times in might be back up.  And then its back, but it isn't back, some people can play, some can't.

Little teaching thing in sales, used so often and any type of business: UPOD.  UNDER PROMISE OVER DELIVER.

So simple to do.  If you think the delivery of someones food order will take 10 minutes, say 15 minutes.  If it comes early, the people will be happy.

So if you simply said, hey, this thing is really fucked up, it's looking like a week, but when we get back online we're going to be running a bunch of freerolls to make up for it.  People would still be pissed no doubt.  But when you come back online within 4 days, many people would be like, hey 3 days EARLY!  And yes, I know its hard to know when during DDOS attacks, but when in doubt UPOD it.  So simple.

Lesson for the day...  Wink

I completely agree with this idea.

However, we still aren't particularly experienced at this and every situation is unique, we haven't done this many thousands of times like a restaurant. So inevitably we get to some point where it looks like it will only be an hour or so, we say "just a few hours" and then learn that we were completely wrong.

And in case anyone hasn't realized, Micon isn't actually stopping these bad packets himself, he only gets what info techs give.

We could forgo estimates, but we think they have some value even if they can't be very accurate.

When I tried to cash out some chips, I get a "invalid cashout address" error.  I always carefully check addresses, so I know it's a legitimate address.  What causes this error message?

It's a site-wide problem.  I received the same error.

Sorry about that. It's fixed now.

Unfortunately we may need some more time before we're running again. Likely over an hour.

Edit: It could take the rest of today. Very sorry.

Any future plans to get off of the Briggs software?

Yes.

Since Freemo let cat out of bag directly, I'd just like to once again reiterate that the super-nasty is coming Q1 2014.

Vastly improved connectivity is at the core of the new system.

Going HAM on New games come after the platform is established.

I also want to thank all of our loyal players that motivate us daily.  We are going to fix this issue like we have every issue in the past.  We will properly compensate players for their troubles as always.

TYVM for playing SwC.  We will be back soon.

Will you continue to have an android app?

It is possible that there could be a period where we would not have an app, but we intend to keep supporting Android, ideally with no interruption.

Sorry for the continued delays.

Have had multiple issues past week lost almost 50 chips to system issues. Sent supporting doc to admin to be told play at my own risk now I transfer btc to seals and site crashes. Is this going to effect my deposit and if so is it also deposit at your own risk?

Refunds are made when the site goes down. Individual problems are decided case by case.

There will be a delay with deposits, but they will all be fine.

Someone give me their referral ID.  I'm going to play my first hand of online poker since Black Friday Smiley.

No need to delay, just put 'freemoney' in the referred field. ;-)

Bet the staking system is starting to be unreliable in immediately calculating ~ dispersing chips~ requesting chips after stakes. I was staked for a 20 chip deep yesterday but was never prompted to send money to bet and have had problems previously of having stake money out in space and following up with mgmt to have it sent appropriately.

In yesterdays case I had my shares auto bought and would like to continue having someone auto buy my shares and I am not looking to get over anyone on stakes. I went into seals deals yesterday and I noticed that the stakes for that game were still up 2 hours after the game had completed.  Please make your product as reliable as it has been for the most part in the past . Please fix yesterdays problem with regard to the 19:40  20 deep I would like to payout my staker thru bet as that is were the stake originated. Thanks.

I'm sorry for the trouble. Seals does not run the staking system and we cannot do anything to fix it.

Whats the deal with fenameno and jefferson1? I see them playing for hours daily always with the same chipstack at plo .10 .20. Is it a new way of raking krill. I watch them check down every hand to the river its pretty comical.

They are krill farming, I've eaten their krill.

We'll formalize prevention with something like a reasonable daily cap on krill for microstakes HU table play. Until then abusers will be handled manually.

At 50000 krill a 3000 chip freeroll that runs every 500 hours.
At 150000 krill a 5000 chip freeroll that runs every 800 hours.

Can anyone tweet or PM the seals ppl to see about 500krill freeroll in two hours?  I've been looking forward to this for like the last 48 hours or so!  I hope they're not lowering the payouts or something.

It is back online now. We will be making some changes to the krill freerolls soon, but this one is running the same way as it has been today.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: November 14, 2013, 08:40:59 PM
Ring game rake has been reduced.

These rake rules apply to games created after 3pm ET on Nov 14th 2013. Rake information can be verified for any game by using the info button in the software.

Rake at ring game tables is 1 chip per 40 (2.5% rounded down) with a cap of the lesser of 3BB or 5 chips (0.005BTC).

Limit tables with a big blind of 0.5 chips (0.0005BTC) or higher have rake of 1 chip per 50 (2% rounded down) with a cap of the lesser of 2BB or 4 chips (0.004BTC).

HU tables with a big blind of 0.5 chips (0.0005BTC) or higher have rake of 1 chip per 75 (~1.33% rounded down) with a cap of the lesser of 1BB or 3 chips (0.003BTC).

If a game would have a rake cap of 0.5 chip (0.0005BTC) then the rake cap will be 0.5 chips (0.0005BTC).

No rake is collected on hands that do not make it to the flop.

If people making lists and refusing to honor valid transactions can kill Bitcoin then Bitcoin sucks. To be clear, Bitcoin doesn't suck.

17  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: November 14, 2013, 05:05:29 PM
Hello,

Your last rake adjustment was on 4/9/2013. Do you have any plans on adjusting it again?

I play HU and the rake is really sick, i pay atleast twice the pokerstars rake which is capped at 50$c.

Please Smiley

Rake will be lowered very soon. Rake at HU tables will be lowered by more than the others, but taking advantage of Table Starter rakeback by playing HU at full tables will remain be a better deal.

The minimum deposit was reduced to 0.001BTC (1 chip) a while back, but the website didn't list it correctly until recently.

We will likely reduce the min cashout soon, but we do pay fees on every cashout so it cannot be extremely small.

nice, didnīt see min deposit was reduced Cheesy

What about a lowering of the min cashout to 25 chips?
I think that would be a threshold that would still be attainable with the current fees (i think itīs usually 0,0005 -> 0,5 seals chips)

Nevertheless I really enjoy playing on your site so far :-)

or another idea I've seen some mining sites do:  minimum free cashout is .05, but you can cashout below that if you pay the transaction fee.

That's a possibility. To smooth things a bit right away the min cashout has been lowered to 0.02BTC.

0.05/0.10 blinds ring games are now available in the launcher.
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: November 13, 2013, 02:32:59 AM
site going to dry up with bitcoin over 300 usd? why not change the 1,000 chips per bitcoin that has been set in stone to 1000 chips for 100 dollars at equivalent  bitcoin price?  Ring games are fine with tables as low as .1 .2 but tourney schedule is going to take a major hit if not tweeked.

We can still easily drop ring games and tournament buy-ins by an order of magnitude when needed, and some adjustment is happening now. We have no plan to change the 1000 chip/BTC ratio any time soon, though some change will be needed when the rate goes well over $1000/BTC.

...

what about lowering the minimum cashout and minimum deposit with regard to the rise of the bitcoin price?

with the low stakes available now (4-20 buy-in) it would really make sense to lower min. deposit and cashout
to 0.01 BTC or something in this range (= 10 SWC chips)

thank you

The minimum deposit was reduced to 0.001BTC (1 chip) a while back, but the website didn't list it correctly until recently.

We will likely reduce the min cashout soon, but we do pay fees on every cashout so it cannot be extremely small.
