Most any DSL is crap...

My options are Verizon DSL (3d/1u) / Dial-up / Satellite (12d/3u).

I'm not even sure the Satellite is doable, I'm on the north side of a mountain.
Plus Satellite has data caps (10-25 gb/month) and is expensive.

I just received an email from Bitmain that they are being threaten with extortion now on the website and the pool.

Yeah, I just got that too.

In case anyone was wondering, Verizon DSL is crap:

Wish I could get something better at my house.
It makes my 24 hour average about 1.5 TH lower than it should be.

I checked out http://ckpoolmonitor.zachmonroe.com/ and it has some great things as well. I need to work with it to figure out how to see my personal stats but I like being able to save off the charts in various formats. GG Zach

If you need help setting things up or if there are other things you would like to see on there, let me know.

ZACHM I like the updates CKPool monitor  Smiley

Thanks!  Smiley
If anyone has suggestions let me know, I'll try to implement whatever I can.

Is this a good pool to am my massive 1.2th at?

Yes. I don't think you will overload it.  Cheesy

  my hash rate mostly rented

I fixed it so we don't get the swoops between points when the hashrate drops to 0 in between.

Due to another request there are also average hashrates shown on the user graphs. You can toggle them on and off by clicking on their title in the legend on top of the graph. Your workers should show up there as well and can be toggled.
Head on over and check it out and tell me what you think.

Now those who are mining on CKPool with a BTC address can now graph their hashrate on http://ckpoolmonitor.zachmonroe.com/

I had a request to add this, and it took me a little while to get it working, but I think it is now.
If anyone has any issues let me know.

Hmm well this is getting more complicated real fast isn't it? You could try in the debug window "rescanfromblock 230000" that might help, but I am guessing not. The fail safe way to sync your wallet exactly with the blockchain is to reimport your privkey to a new wallet. Make sure your wallet is backed up, go to debug window and type "dumpprivkey yourHYPaddresshere" and copy your private key. Make sure never to share this with anyone else, or else your coins could be stolen.

Shut down your wallet. Go back to the appdata folder and name wallet.dat to walletold.dat.

Restart your client. You should have a fresh wallet with no balance. Go to debug, "importprivkey yourprivkeyhere". This will scan the entire chain for your key, and this could take a few minutes. After that, restart your wallet one more time and everything should be good to go.

repairwallet is supposed to prevent this procedure from being done, but looks like it couldn't fix it in your case.

I started doing this when I realized that I had copied my backup wallet.dat into the wrong folder so I really had never repaired my wallet. It is all fixed now, and I was able to send.

Thanks for the help.

Did you use repair wallet?

Yes

Now what?

Setup a proxy with ckpool, that is what I did and I only have 10 miners.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=790323.0

Then you can move them all wherever you want all at one time.

Yesterday I sent 73k+ HYP to Poloniex and it still has not shown up there. I asked on Poloniex and they told me make sure I was using the newest wallet (I am v1.1.0.1) and check the blockchain and transaction. At the time my wallet was telling me the transaction was in block 239010 and the most recent block on hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com was about 23880, so I decided to wait to see if when it got to 239010 then maybe Poloniex's wallets would sync and the transaction would show up, but nope.

Also if I search for my TXID on hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com it says it is not found.

What do I need to do? Is my HYP gone?

And now my wallet won't sync, it says there is 5 connections to network but is sitting at 112 blocks behind.

I have made backups and downloaded the bootstrap and have started resyncing, hopefully that helps something.

First step, take a deep breath and realize that you are on the wrong chain, so the coins are still owned by you on the correct chain Smiley Backup your wallet!

Second step, get in sync https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=678849.msg10475602#msg10475602 (also a new build was released last night v1.0.1.2, has some more refinements, but not mandatory. https://github.com/hyperstake/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.1

Third step, go to debug console and type "strictincoming true". Once fully synced, click tools->repairwallet.

Fourth step, resend your transaction once your block height matches the block height of hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com

Edit - thanks LiteBit for beating me to it.

No deep breath necessary, I did not mean to sound panicked at all. I am not really worried about it, just a little annoyed that it happened, I should have tested it with a small transaction first.  Roll Eyes

I already had version 1.1.0.1, I have now downloaded 1.1.0.2 and I have it syncing and set "strictincoming true". When it fully syncs I will try the wallet repair and see what happens.

Thanks for the help presstab and LiteBit.

Hi kano,

Just switched over from p2pool for a while, can't take that bad luck anymore

Can you tell me what this is about?

Why 11.43/8.22THs? Happened when I switched my S4s from 218MHz to 225MHz. My workers are all showing lower speeds (about 1.75TH/s vs 2.2TH/s @ 218MHz) but if I look in the pool stats it's displaying what should be the right speed.  Huh

Give it time. Those numbers are averages.

Is there some significance to the 42?

42 is THE answer! Wink

Yes, but what is the question?  Wink

A question to Kano or CK  how hard would it be to list all blocks vs the last 42.

So far we are up to 145.  Would it be too difficult to show them all?

I have always wondered why it only shows the last 42?

Is there some significance to the 42?

whats going on with the network? 57 minutes since the last block find?  Huh Shocked

There you go, BTC Guild just got one.

HOLLY CRAP !!!
I just switched the miner I won over to my normal ( PINGSTER ACCOUNT )
and it found a BLOCK !!!
I'm glad it helped the pool !

I wish I knew how to take a screen shot of it on a windows laptop so you all could see.

I saw that!  It must have happened soon after cause I checked before I went to work and then I got an email that we found one.

Is there anything different you would like to see in the notification email?

Also, I have added rolling averages to the Payout table on the homepage of ckpoolmonitor.zachmonroe.com

ZachM..I am satisfied with keeping it simple.  It is just a nice alert that we found a block.  Once I get close to a PC I can look up all the details of who found it, hash rate at time, etc.

That is how I use it too.  Smiley
