Any extra rewards earned when it comes to an individual basis are naturally in addition to the coin itself gaining value from the VIRAL network's sponsor infusions. Any such individual rewards will apply to accounts who's metrics stand out and are clearly beneficial to the network due to their quality of followers and global reach/niche reach factors. For the time being with VIRAL just in it's infancy there are only a small handful of accounts currently in the network that clearly stand out from the rest based on their individual metrics.

Those accounts who are in what we call the "Spotlight" category will always be notified on a weekly basis of any individual, exclusive rewards. The "Spotlight" accounts grow in numbers as more high quality accounts become nodes on the network and based on weekly internal reviews that are run to gauge changes on current nodes mainly their follower count and the legitimacy of their audience growing or declining. Rewards stabilize and/or increase over time and are based in conjunction with the sponsor actions.

As future phases take place on the VIRAL network, there will be more opportunities to gain additional rewards from the network as outlined in the roadmap and OP in general. For the time being, we are already moving far ahead with plenty of releases way ahead of schedule already, so let's continue to all benefit from this incredible innovation to crypto and watch as all the additional positive actions unfold.

Just wanted to give a status update.

I have been busy with work lately, so I have not had a chance to update anything as of yet.  I apologize, and don't want to make any promises or deadlines, but I can say that I have not forgotten this project and will be working on it as soon as I can.

Since I am creating an engine from scratch though, I'm not going to be able to easily give this to an exchange anytime soon, this is going to be a very long term project.  I would like to discuss some of the ideas with you all though as I work on this.

To recap:

I will be using C++ and probably the Boost Libraries for networking support as my dependencies, same as every other bitcoin client.  I will be using an HTML/CSS Interface for the UI so it will easily work on all operating systems and browsers and allow for customizable design and other nifty features.

The major difference will be an attempt to write code that is easily understandable and easy to work with, and who better to consult this with then the people here on the forum as I write the code.  I also plan to use SQLite for the database (although slower to query records its much easier to understand and better documented in my opinion).  Also, it won't be as bad since I plan to have a limited ledger that won't grow to ridiculous sizes as time goes on.  As such this will be a public work in progress.

I have not decided on Proof of Work or Proof of Stake, or something like Proof of Resource, but I'm open to suggestions.  My hope is that the energy used in proving the block can be used for something useful instead of just burning electricity, or if I can at least minimize it as is the case with proof of stake.

My only concern is copy cats running away with the code and creating a clone coin which would undermine my efforts.  Any suggestions to protect the source code while we work on this?

Nkt was on first page form bitttrex for over 2 weeks in 2 month. If you look at crypsty there are more than 60 coin with zero 24h volume.
Fact is that las post from cryptsy on twitter was 1 month ago.
Hope we're not going to another mintpal here.

NKT is a tribute coin to nakamoto. First you have to remind this.

Then:

-Roadmap is down cause nkt don't need dice game,in wallet trade or stuff like that. They could create some hype for sure,but please don't be a daily trader here. You really need at this time(february 2015) same and repeated feature like in wallet-trade,anon,stealth,supernet,tor, etc etc? They are really needed for a coin? We don't think. They are good features,but many coins already have them. So, don't ask about this.
They could be done,but it's not our priority.

-We have contacted and talked with: Multipools operators,merchants, but we don't found a good deal so far. Cause we have first check the multipool code,check how it works,and have fully control over it about payout payments. Same for merchants: it could be easy to add nkt to some sites,but we have to find the best for it. Not just some, only to create a short-time hype.

-Code is fully working,NO FORK has been done so far,and it's a plus nowadays.

-We have contacted cryptsy to know what's happen with nkt. Cryptsy was and still remain the exchange with most registered user in.

Our priority is to focus on promotions. Don't wait for new wallet featured,cause the new wallet has been released less than 30 day ago and most important, NKT is only 2 months old.

And don't be to close about the dev activity(just check our total loggin time here since beginning). NKT is out,genesis block is active,code is full working and source is public. So, NKT is not "A dev coin". It's a community coin, based on community feelings.

Sorry that this project doesn't impress me enough to throw BTC at it.
