2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: August 25, 2015, 12:49:56 PM
Transactions from Bittrex are slow. This is a Bittrex issue only. The network is fast, and other transactions are no problem.
Withdrawing from Bittrex may take up to 24 hours. It has been like this for a few weeks.
You don't have to stop staking to receive them. They will come. Just wait

ok, i will wait then. actually i never had a delay with bittrex, that's why i was wondering about the transaction
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: August 25, 2015, 12:40:04 PM
i have a locked wallet staking and today i decided to send more coins to stake more.
i sent the coins from bittrex but after 2 hours still didn't get them.
on exchange it says is completed, if i copy/paste the txid in the bitbay block explorer (on cryptoid.info) there are no matching results, the block explorer in wallet shows a scary "fail" on input/output, also value and fee are wrong. i have the staking wallet version 1.0.0.1-g, what's up with the coins? should i stop staking to receive them?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How traceable is bitcoin? on: August 24, 2015, 12:24:45 PM
every transaction is public, that means with a script is possible to crawl the block chain and track every address / input you need to know.

knowing this you can:

- avoid to associate your real identity to a bitcoin address
- avoid to pay from exchanges where you registered with your email or identity
- avoid to use web wallets without a vpn

etc.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why this is the BTC most difficult time on: August 24, 2015, 12:15:08 PM

I think the major problem is that this world has no leadership whatsoever: without Satoshi no one here represents the role of the leader.
Linux still works because of Linus Torvalds, you know that. The same goes for GNU that without his knight Stallman will be just a dream of the past.

there is no need for a leader.
the whole bitcoin story is an exercise to think differently. we have to think in a new way, a decentralized way.
it's good that satoshi is not interfering with this, bitcoin is NOT his but is OUR thing

we don't need any lead, needing a leader basically means that the decentralized idea is a big FAIL, that we are still not prepared (as humans) to work with it. better talk again in this terms in 50 or maybe 100 years.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I mined a Bitcoin in Minecraft on: August 11, 2015, 10:27:05 AM
a correct title would be: "I minecrafted a Bitcoin in Minecraft"  Grin
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: August 06, 2015, 09:36:51 PM
i want to withdraw my coin from bittrex but iam scared that if i download BAY wallet and later my pc is broken , then i will lose my bay..
Is it possible to download bay wallet and then to save it in usb stick with all my bay ?

you just need to do a backup of the wallet and save that on a usb stick

with the backup you can restore the wallet anywhere and when you rescan the blockchain your balance is back Wink
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero - why the sudden hype? on: July 30, 2015, 09:56:28 AM
it is not HYPE, is just SPAM

sudden hype? where are the investments? where are the news? can you link me an article, a recent GREAT story about monero?

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Tyson Hits Bitcoin Bandwagon with 5M Twitter Followers on: July 27, 2015, 03:58:57 PM
i don't think a fucking macho rapist is ideal for bitcoin, despite his 5m followers a piece of shit is still a piece of shit
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If this forum is any indication then Munero should be #1 on: July 21, 2015, 09:59:35 PM
and i ask:

name me 1 application based on monero tech with serious investments.

name me 1 even 1 VC investor behind monero

name me the monero applications that everyone is talking about

there's NONE

this is how worth is Wink

and without the massive spam it would be unknown even among people interested in digital currencies
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If this forum is any indication then Munero should be #1 on: July 21, 2015, 09:51:25 PM
I agree with the topic.
However, Monero is not marketcapwise # 1 yet. Do you smell an opportunity here?  Grin

Yes great opportunities to became soon bagholder of something worthless

To all the noobs here consider this:

monero needs spam and attacks because has not-much to offer

why there are billions investments in bitcoin / blockchain and 0 cent for monero? make your conclusions
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeggieCoin on: July 20, 2015, 01:03:12 PM
ethical oriented currencies are total nonsense in a greedy bastards circus like alt coins world

the pizza example from your website makes no sense because the problem is not the currency but the awareness about the cruelty in food industry.
since you cannot restrict the use of a currency what prevents users to buy tons of cows hamburgers?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon? on: July 20, 2015, 12:28:17 PM
everyone seems to ignore the importance of a public ledger and it's possible use for endless new applications (see VC investments if you need confirms)

all this cool stuff that we can develop (and that we cannot even imagine) on blockchain cannot be done with cryptonote coins like moreno because there is no public ledger

you cannot compare bitcoin with monero because are totally different, same way you cannot compare fiat with bitcoin

that's why monero cannot replace bitcoin
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full list of anonymous coins on: July 20, 2015, 12:18:43 PM
funny because monero and darknote are 2 clones of the same source code but you put them in different categories. seems legit
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pedophiles Launch Dash (“Darkcoin”) Mining Crowdfunding Platform on: July 17, 2015, 09:46:14 AM
oh c'mon, every person with a brain would not associate dash with pedos since it's a currency and by nature open to ---any--- use (i don't see you getting horrified by the daily use of dollars for any nasty stuff)

the point is that this news are bullshit, kind of "made up" to generate easy and dumb hate against dash
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Pedophiles Launch Dash (“Darkcoin”) Mining Crowdfunding Platform on: July 16, 2015, 05:41:06 PM
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2015/07/16/pedophiles-launch-dash-darkcoin-mining-crowdfunding-platform/

is that even possible? to me sounds a bit like bullshit, i mean, isn't the dash difficulty quite high? are pedos filled with expensive mining rigs? what's the point?

this news sound a bit like an "easy topic" to discredit dash and cryptos in general
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero is irrelevant but the shills and despeate are still here on: July 16, 2015, 05:31:58 PM
the monero propaganda works only for total noobs and some desperate soul of this boards, we all know it

serious and smart users / investors know how the situation really is and the actual value of the coin

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash, most viewed thread .. least talked about thread, why ? on: July 11, 2015, 03:40:25 PM
as soon dash price is up more than 10%, the monero fuck tards revamp old posts and shill accounts to vomit the same shit over and over again.

if you run a crawler targeting the dash-instamine-scam bullshit posts, you'll get 3-4 users and around 12-15 shill accounts with same writing style, timestamps and other factors to link them.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization and lack of authority as a weakness on: July 11, 2015, 02:57:28 PM
i would say that the lack in "decentralizing culture" is the weakness of bitcoin users
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Citigroup Is Testing Its Own Bitcoin: 'Citicoin' on: July 08, 2015, 03:53:04 PM
i believe that once banks and financial institutions will have full control over a blockchain based and mass adopted coin, humans will be doomed as fuck even worst than with capitalism
