1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Lost on: July 20, 2019, 07:11:55 PM
Any account that has a secret key means that only the creator or owner can access it and without it, it can't be accessed. Since you have lost the secret key, I don't think there is anyone who can help you. I suggest you retrace your steps perhaps to the year you created the account and search your books for clues.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of alts you hodl on: July 20, 2019, 07:09:19 PM
Glad you pointed it out "intial hype" that's all they have and only that they offered thus not lasting long term. I have told my friends that no matter what they hear of any project let them make out time to study every project before putting their funds.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: July 20, 2019, 07:07:06 PM
The first lesson I learnt was never to be greedy while trading and ever since then it has helped me make good decisions. Also, I learnt not to love any coin during trading so as not to turn to a bag holder. Furthermore, I learnt to go for good projects and over look most reviews from experts.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on IEOs on: July 20, 2019, 07:03:03 PM
In my own opinion, IEOs has come to stay because when you study their growth, it is evident they are doing well and thus attracting more investors. Also, since exchanges contributes a lot we need to be sure of the exchange before getting involved.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: July 19, 2019, 11:38:49 PM
In my own opinion I think IEO is a better option when it comes to public sales than ICO. I personally don't think I will be getting involved with ICOs even if they come back unless there are rules put in place to curb scams just like in the case of IEOs where exchanges ensures the team is verified.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDEX is complying to KYC and other regulations on: July 19, 2019, 11:33:34 PM
This is not good at all and most especially for a DEX like Idex and this might drag them down. Most people feel comfortable using Idex because of the security of their personal information and now it is no longer viable they might move to other DEX. Also, another DEX which might be good is DDEX, i have been using it and it's quite okay.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you see the future of exchange going? on: July 19, 2019, 11:27:40 PM
I don't think there is anything wrong with getting listed on a Decentralized Exchange (DEX), because it is another form of exchange where security is the main priority. So I think getting listed on DEX is a good thing and upcoming businesses should try it out. In the same way, when talking about security issues in most exchanges now I think the future of DEX is safe and sound.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION on: July 19, 2019, 11:19:07 PM
This is just funny. KYC for a token worth what? The truth is, most people are rather developers are now making a fun of KYC. To be frank when was the last time an airdrop worth something tangible? Airdrops of nowadays hardly worth anything thus it is not worth it submitting KYC for any airdrop.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO can be a safer investment option than ICO on: July 19, 2019, 11:15:01 PM
When you ask most investors to chose from either ICO or IEO, you won't be surprised when all will go for IEOs. They knew what they passed through in the days of ICOs and won't be happy to make such decision again. So, by looking at the growth of IEOs, there isn't a mistake for saying IEO is safer .
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Decent Exchanges? on: July 16, 2019, 11:00:36 PM
Even with Binance hack, the exchange is still waxing strong. I have been using Binance after the hack and have never experienced any form of delay in withdrawal etc. So in my own understanding or from experience, Binance still remains the most decent exchange. Nevertheless, if you want another decent exchange, check out Kucoin or Gate.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO & IEO at the same time possible? on: July 16, 2019, 10:54:54 PM
I do not think this will ever be possible, every project have to make a decision to either go for ICO or IEO and with the latest trend today IEO is leading. ICO nowadays have a very low chance of ever succeeding hence the reason why IEO is a better option and choice, in addition to its absence of exit scam.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUYBACK TOKENS SOLVES DUMPING on: July 13, 2019, 10:21:38 AM
From the projects I have seen which did this, it really helped the project to gain more traders or users as the case many be. Also, this act of buying back shows that the project really raised funds or have the funds to keep the project running while keeping their token price moderate.. Most projects find it hard doing this, but will be quick to channel blames when the price falls terribly.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING! this is very misleading on: July 13, 2019, 10:17:57 AM
You are right this can indeed be misleading and this is always caused by hype; that is a project that is hyped might showcase this to attract investors at the end the result will be clear that nothing was raised. Also, the surprising thing is that most of these projects after showcasing this will still find it hard listing on good exchange.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will binance overtake the bitmex on margin trading? on: July 12, 2019, 08:37:17 AM
I don't think Binance will be able to beat Bitmex in terms of margin trading. Remember Bitmex has been in it for long thereby having a very large community in fact can be likened to be a top margin trading platform. Although, Binance has a large community already but it's not in terms of margin trading. With Bitmex continuously improving their platform and Binance just coming up, it will be hard for Binance to overtake them.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are the benefits of a decentralized exchange? on: July 12, 2019, 08:32:29 AM
Decentralized Exchanges follows the idea of blockchain, that is to say, in decentralized exchanges, users are still in charge of their wallet as all trades occurs within their wallet. Because of this, hacking a decentralized exchange has proven to be hard, as you will need the users keys to perform such which isn't possible. So in all, Decentralized exchanges offers high security, transparency and trust. Also, there is no need for KYC..
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could you recommend two good altcoins? on: July 12, 2019, 08:25:11 AM
You should learn about cryptocurrencies and their underlying risks before investing in any, because it will help keep you in track when the challenges sets in. However, I think ETH is a good one for investing anytime anyday. Another is BNB, at least the team is super active to ensure sustainability of their platform.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from online mobile wallets with no backup phrase on: July 12, 2019, 08:21:52 AM
Any wallet without backup words or phrases have something fishy going on; that is to say the developers can access users funds or rather users have no control over there funds. Like you rightly said, making it available for your smartphone doesn't mean it's right to be used. We should learn of how to protect ourselves from all these unnecessary risks.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO is not good at all times! on: July 11, 2019, 09:30:46 PM
Most times, when fomo is high and driving virtually everyone around us, that's the time to play safe and be patient. That we missed an entry point doesn't mean we won't see another if not in that coin, then in another. The ability to resist fomo is one of the characteristics of a good trader.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking decisions on: July 11, 2019, 09:27:52 PM
Most times taking decisions comes with a lot of things. In this space, it is not really easy making good decisions on your own, but once it is mastered, it strengthens and sets the person on another level of greatness. So i think we should be bold when taking decisions as it will in one way or the other contribute something in our lives..
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A completely decentralized world...How will it be? on: July 11, 2019, 09:24:42 PM
I think it will be a world free from various forms of irregularities, unfair treatments, manipulation etc. It will be a world where users can control their assets without anyone directing them.
I believe, blockchain still have a long way to go but in the future, decentralization will be the order of the day as most people will see the truth behind it.
