922  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cavirtex exchange shutdown after being hacked on: February 18, 2015, 01:42:35 PM
DO NOT HOLD YOUR BTC ON THIRD PARTY EXCHANGES – BE YOUR OWN BANK

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=945881.0
They should start making exchanges that use your own addresses as storage.

This is the only answer you can give .. great your showed your great potential !

+1 point for your mediocrity !

Are you of those people, who believe the government wasn't involved in the attack on WTC?

What about the facts? There's more than enough proof, showing they at the very least knew the attack is coming and deliberately scheduled NORAD training exercise on that day.
They also poorly faked a crash site of one of the planes, by getting an engine from some scrap yard and placing it in the field. Unfortunately for them the engine came from a different plane than the one that supposedly crashed there Cheesy

925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS Using Bitcoins :o on: February 17, 2015, 10:26:33 PM
We should be happy, bitcoin is freedom so everybody have the right to use it, right? The more people use it the better, and ISIS claims to be a country, so...  Grin
926  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Have access to 800 amps on: February 17, 2015, 05:28:30 PM
There are so many used miners on sale right now being dumped by people, who tried mining 6 months ago, you can get some cheap stuff and mine the crap out of it.
If you don't have enough cash you could sell the space for hosting, or start a legit cloud mining company.
927  Other / Off-topic / Re: what internet security software do you use/like? on: February 17, 2015, 04:55:47 PM
I have always heard that NORTON is one of the best.
I remember having it on my old P166 back in 1997. It's been around for quite some time.
928  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many mobiles has one ever bought ? on: February 11, 2015, 06:40:53 PM
Ever? That would be at least 10 phones. I even had a nokia 3310. It costed about $120 back then.
929  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which countries have you lived in/visited? Favourites? on: February 03, 2015, 12:47:07 AM
I lived in a number of EU countries for a while. I can recommend south of Italy. Great food, clean beaches, warm ocean, beautiful women. I've visited southern France as well (Marseille) and it's much dirtier and crowdy, also more dangerous. I have yet to go to Greece, their islands are beautiful.
930  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 03, 2015, 12:37:43 AM
Paycoin, the coin, is fully open source.

Paybase is a company built around the coin, like many companies built around bitcoin, which isn't open source. Coinbase isn't open source either.

The whitepaper is not what is implemented in paycoin, many features were changed. What problems do you have with that? There is no paycoin that has those features in use.

Are you attempting to be serious? You do know all the facts, correct?

Scott-

Yes. There are many things to criticize paycoin for, but not making the source available is not one of them. On that front, they haven't done anything worse than legitimate businesses.

Look at the original context of the argument. This is what I was saying was wrong: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg10338037#msg10338037

Let us circle jerk for a bit. At least no one gets banned here.

Oh, really?  Wink

Oddly this thread got me banned for a bit too a while ago
931  Other / Off-topic / Re: Places you want to travel to before you die on: February 03, 2015, 12:33:39 AM

At least their new government is anti EU.  Grin
932  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: OMG, Butterfly Labs refunded me and I made ROI!! on: February 03, 2015, 12:31:46 AM
Congratulations. I've seen a thread where somebody showed their wallets and came to conclusion they've been dumping BTC on exchanges since December (court ruling). They are probably planning to refund more people in time.
933  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thanks for all- Good luck. on: January 31, 2015, 04:07:27 AM
Bye and good luck. I hope you didn't lose confidence in bitcoin. Smiley
934  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: January 28, 2015, 01:04:22 PM
Hope I don't get banned again now.

Uh oh, famous last words. Posting outside of Meta is a big no no for banned users. Dekay burned through all Tor exit nodes and VPNs in the known universe and it looks like they got him anyway.

Edit: how it the world did you manage to get banned here? It takes some special effort as far as I've seen.

Oddly this thread got me banned for a bit too a while ago

"Oddly" that's a good one. You must be joking Sir Spamalot.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taylor Swift Twitter and Instagram Hacked: Private Photos For !Bitcoin! on: January 28, 2015, 12:20:18 PM
The hack could be real, it's not that hard to do if you have the time and skills. I wonder if she has some nude pics there like Jennifer Lawrence Smiley
936  Other / Off-topic / Re: Age of bitcoin users. on: January 28, 2015, 10:25:33 AM
30

@Madness

The youngest bitcoin owner I know just turned 4 months old Smiley

Same here, almost 30. I wish I learned about Bitcoin when I was 25 Cheesy
937  Other / Off-topic / Re: Me, at 19-years-old. on: January 28, 2015, 10:21:57 AM
Hah I'm not gonna post my family, sory. I don't post my personal stuff on the internet, somebody might use it to make a meme or worse make it look like I'm a passive gay looking for a partner.
Nice photos thanks for sharing are you still married?
938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 24, 2015, 05:31:48 AM
I am not blind. For me i was able to ROI on my investment in GAW. I am just having fun now.

You're having fun at the expense of those less mentally fortunate, my friend.  If you want to develop a product, why not pick Bitcoin as a medium?

When you sell an altcoin after a pump you are also having fun at the expense of others as did those who sold bitcoin for 1100 USD.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is no consensus on the existance of the foundation on: January 24, 2015, 05:17:05 AM
Organized groups aren't bad since they can start big promotional campaigns and influence government officials and politicians. Organized and registered entities tend to have more impact than individuals in this centralized world of ours, so the foundation could be breaching a certain gap.
940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paycoin Holders - Convert your XPY into real, verifiable GH/s on Hashnest on: January 24, 2015, 05:04:48 AM
Paycoin holders turn one bad investment into another! Don't let all the profits go to GAW!
This is not an endorsment we just want your money.
