This is not even something to argue about. when you gamble and you lose which mostly happens then your money is gone, but when you invest in bitcoin even if the price drops and you can hodl with patience then once the its back up you wont lose and also have increase in dollar value. its not easy to win such an argument with someone that is an addict especially. maybe they are thinking that its all risk which i agree even life itself is so full of risk but when it comes to BTC investment then it can be compared to gambling.  for me i would just let it slide anytime such argument comes up. 

once you are determined enough to learn and become a profitable trader then you will sail through no matter what you encounter in the journey. the beginning is mostly the hardest thing which is understandable just like Goeth said "Everything is hard before its easy". the things you encounter on the journey are what will become your experience. when you start trading with real funds and you experience losses , you can take a break to return after a while. you will learn all these as you advance.

Changing the plan or trying to increase your position in the middle of the trade is one thing that can bring about unfavourable result especially when its basically to increase your profits because the trade is playing out as predicted. this can also be related to greed . the best thing is to follow your plan and be satisfied with whatever profits you make. you cant make all the profit at once but you can lose all your capital in a single trade because of greed or over ambition. if your strategy has DCA then you can use it or else just accept your loss when your trade hits the stop loss and wait for the next signal.

the problem here is that he did not let his wife know about it until she found out. telling him to stop is a good thing because she saw some loses which she feels is not good enough especially if it continues and it can affect him and the household at large. i wont be surprised if the wife has been trailing him for a while and expecting maybe the man will tell him about it, some women are like that. if you are gambling and doesn't want anyone else to know should keep it private enough and clear all traces that can make it known. this is an easy thing if you are not addicted.

yes i can say  its more of a guy thing. one of the reasons why i think its so is because of the financially responsibilities that the men do shoulder and also that men always want to earn more so its pretty easy as a guy to get involved and also if you have friends that are into it then it will be more easier. but i think things are changing and have seen some ladies go into gambling although the percentage is still kind of low but maybe in some years to come we will have a good population of them especially for those who wants to do it for fun.

FOMO is basically a pointer that your emotions are in control of your actions. As a trader you need to have a strategy which must play out for you to take a trade and if it dosent as planned then your Stop loss will be hit and you wait for next signal. when FOMO drives your action you wont have a reason for placing a trade which is not supposed to be. just ensure you have a working strategy, have a trading book, manage your risk and be able to defend your trades in relation to your strategy.

this usually happen when you lose money, lose too much , have high hopes of winning. no one wants to lose so its not bad to feel remorseful after that. when this repeats itself too often then it can mean that such person is not gambling responsibly. its good not to gamble with any money you cant afford to lose. this is easier said but might be difficult that is why you should set aside a percentage of your income for gambling like 5% and never go beyond that.

Havent heard of this kind of thing happening in the developed countries. its a sad thing because it denies the developing countries of the kind of players that can really help them to win world trophies. if you really look at it many of these talented players do come from poor homes which is why some of them move away to where they would be accepted without paying a dime. This country would have imagined how their national team would be with kylian mbappe among them. it shows how much they miss him but its too late. 

This kind of event is just like an imagination because everyone knows that nothing is 100% certain in sport betting or casino. the only thing that can make me go all in on a bet is if the person that told me agrees to refund me if it loses. if this is agreed upon then i can borrow some money to play but these things dosent really happen like that. i have seen some people being scammed with this kind of idea that a game is 100%  sure in the name of fixed game and they pay for it but eventually lose.

It depends on your trading strategy and the results you are getting from it. If you are really good at trading then I will say you can use 30 - 40% to trade and then the rest for holding. The idea is to reduce the losses and if you find out you can't do that then you should just keep holding.

Not it's not useless , it works really well but not all the time which isn't bad. The issue is the patience you need to exercise for the synchronization especially when you are combining more than one. You won't expect them to be right all the times which is where most people have issues with it but if you can be patient enough and manage your capital very well with a good strategy then you will enjoy it.

this is an individual decision but since you said its categorically for those doing for fun then i dont think anything is bad with it once you have the money to do that. old age shouldnt be a barrier if you really to do it for fun, thats even the time you want to make yourself happy the most. but also dont forget that things can change and anything can happen and anyone can decide to play or stop at anytime.

sounds like this two go hand in hand because how well you control your emotions will determine if you will be patient enough or not. taking a whole of time to wait for a trade set up to complete is one of the hardest thing especially for newbie traders because every time they see something they just feel like pressing the buy or sell button. a trader needs to have these two trait in shape to reduce their loses.

This is not active trading, i would call this passive trading. i would like to know if you bought bitcoin at the last top and how do you feel seeing the dollar value go down from the ATH? a lot of people wont want that i believe. this kind of method feels to me like someone who is just buying BTC in bits with little funds anytime he feels like. there are many people doing this as well. for me i wouldnt like to buy at a top and then the dollar value keeps going down. if i decided to do long term hold then i would do DCA at different prices so it will reduce the number of waiting period. 

sometimes i do think of it as well that why would you sell but i later realized that its a another way to generate income. basically there are many struggling or losing traders out there and they would like to earn like the pro which is why many people subscribe to a signal group. since people see this as a way to earn more money so they just keep opening premium group and show some flashy photos or videos or winning trades which is enough to get some people to pay for their signals.

its more of a luck thing just like you said and also with what i have noticed no one knows a winning day. i dont really know how that happens but this particular picks would have been a big jackpot if you used a higher amount to stake it. but also you have to stake responsibly so its understandable. hope you get some more luck next time.
