101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 23, 2019, 01:14:31 PM
@OP Whatever you said works in theory but not in reality. This is same as asking the drug users to not use drugs or reduce using them or get an alternative drug. The point is if you're addicted you need to seek professional or medical help. The control and play technique will work for someone who tends to control their emotions or greed not for extremists.

Not just in gamble even in trading, for those who trade and not gamble too much. Controlled mindset is really needed. You must know when to stop and not be greedy when you already won. Some people got problem due to depression or guilt and regret in their decisions. They won already and still decide to continue until it all loss. So better set your focus in everything you do.
Good traders are generally smart and know how to control their money and when to withdraw. Good gamblers are still addicts.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to Sue the Block and raises 200 bitcoins to fight fud. on: November 23, 2019, 01:07:15 PM
I wonder why binance didn't put even a single bitcoin to investigate their recent hack?  Huh

Had 100 bitcoins being used to find the hackers, I'm sure a lot of their customers could have gotten their money back. Just shows binance is more concerned about their reputation than their users.
Yeah, they need to combat this kind of FUD and Fake News while they still can, once they land it prison it will be a little too late.
I lol'd at that!
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Event invitation - book free flight ticket on: November 23, 2019, 12:00:52 PM
Free flight ticket but what about the Visa sponsorship? That needs to be done by the members on their end correct? Buying the tickets for the event is kind of okay but those tickets will be useless if the Visa is declined. Are you ready to sponsor the Visas as well?
104  Economy / Service Discussion / BTC - BANK - TAP/Card Service? on: November 23, 2019, 11:53:46 AM
Excuse me for the not so descriptive thread title I really don't know how else to put it. I'm looking for a service that converts my BTC to their own service where I can use their service as a virtual debit card or phone NFC Tap. Something like this, I convert my BTC to Paypal and then use Paypal's mobile app to do NFC Tap payments at shops. It'd be great if Paypal's mobile app provided that service but it doesn't. Please share such services with me if you guys are aware of any.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Step Chain : A Responsible Fitness App on: November 23, 2019, 11:43:34 AM
It seems like an exciting project given you have an app ready and everything. What I'm assuming is, you just need to install the app, walk a few steps and earn step coins? Sounds too good to be true. This goes against all the business models the ICO industry has seen. I will try out the app later. Watching this thread.
106  Economy / Exchanges / Re: convert BTC to Paypal on: November 23, 2019, 11:36:10 AM
But for a better rate, I admit the forum is a good place to buy/sell with PP.
It comes with its own perks if you're a less experienced member like the OP. The moment you post a thread to exchange your BTC, you'd have your inbox spammed with scammers claiming to be respected members of the community and can give them a good deal. I mean I open threads for currency exchange and I being a legendary member get messages from newbies asking me to go first lol out of all the places mentioned above, the forum is what will give great rates but also increases the chances of getting scammed by 90%
107  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockmove.io - Cryptocurrency wallet, merchant & API provider on: November 23, 2019, 11:31:20 AM
I went through the API documentation and it all seems legit. However, I'm just concerned about your team and operations. There isn't much information about it. Infact, your About-US page is broken or doesn't exist. If you're a proper company with legal operations, why do you not want to disclose your team to your users?
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 23, 2019, 11:26:20 AM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
Have you ever experienced something like that, how do you deal with this loss?
Motivation help - Yes
Financial help - No
Buying him a burger - YES

You often come across such gentlemen in the chat boxes of gambling sites. Most of them do get help of a few pennies from the fellow gambling buddies. I personally wouldn't feel remorseful over their loses.
109  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: November 23, 2019, 11:14:46 AM
Hello there, someone seems to have got scammed by your usual "KYC" trick after winning a huge amount. Not that it's very unusual to see something like that happening with your site but your inputs on his accusation will be appreciated here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203845.msg53156014#msg53156014
110  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io unfairly locked winnings on: November 23, 2019, 11:13:01 AM
Isn't it obvious when you win big in shady casinos as sportsbet.io you'd be locked out of your accounts? Sorry OP, you should have taken the previous accusations against them seriously. Please detail your scam accusation with relevant proofs and links to the bet etc. As someone mentioned above, now your account will be reviewed for "security purposes" and eventually your money will be stolen.  Please post your queries in their thread as well https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.7000
111  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Hotcryptonews.org - crypto news aggregator on: November 23, 2019, 11:09:18 AM
Use Cloudflare for SSL and get your 5 friends to start discussing news and topics initially to build momentuum.
Discuss where? There is no discussion section for every single news I reckon. Also, it's a news aggregator site so there is a very small room for discussion when the links are going to take you to another website. The only comment I came across is this http://hotcryptonews.org/index.php/guestbook/

I am not interested in bitcoins or cryptocurrency. Could you please post more pictures of naked women?

OP- You could be spammed like that if you keep the comment section for whatever it's meant to be.
112  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [GOOD NEWS] Time to switch from LocalBitcoins to LocalCryptos [NO KYC] on: November 23, 2019, 11:04:55 AM
Second thing is, their fee (0.25%) is high if compare with LBC.
LBC just cuts BTC0.00015 from the total deposit amount and there is no escrow fee. But today I noticed LBC deducted 0.00003+ from my deposit which is far less than before.
Localcryptos says 0.25% escrow fee and I'm not sure about the deposit fee. So a BTC0.1 transaction will cut BTC0.00025 escrow fee which is much higher than LBC imo and if the amount is more than the fee will be more or do I missed something.
I wouldn't mind paying a bit more service fees if I'm not asked for my documents. Everybody will. I wouldn't risk my identity with random businesses to save a few cents.
I wouldn't disagree with you but the fee gets bigger when the transaction amount is bigger, you know that.
The only thing attracting is their NO KYC policy, and yeah this attracted me fully because I got suffered a month at LBC. Let's see how far this goes.
I'm suffering at LBC now for verification of my documents especially when the document involved is a passport. I wouldn't want to share my passport for anything related to the crypto. They just rejected my other documents so I'm desperately looking for an alternative.

Also, I didn't find any trades for my location when I last checked, so looking forward to making an exchange in the future.
Same. No trades found for SEPA transfer and most of the deals were from the Russians when I'm not even in Russia. Seems sketchy.
113  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [GOOD NEWS] Time to switch from LocalBitcoins to LocalCryptos [NO KYC] on: November 23, 2019, 12:08:50 AM
Even if the charges are quite low for the maker and even the taker pays less here, there's not much difference if you check the prices. At Localbitcoins, if you sell your BTC, the max you can get is INR 549k while at localcryptos, you will get a deal of max INR 528k (checked both at the time of writing this). And it's not that I've seen this just today, but the difference had been since the announcement and it kept continuing. Those who believe LBC gives premium rates, please talk to my ✋, I've seen much better prices to sell BTC at InstaShift. The difference between prices, i.e.; 549k - 528k = 21k comes around 4% of loss if sold at localcryptos. Well, it's completely your decision to go for either of these exchanges but I guess I've given you a brief idea on the major difference here.
Thanks, dude you made some good points there. I was definitely going to try out LocalCryptos but now the rates are bothering me. How is your general experience with InstaShift? Are they as secure as LBC?

114  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan of $ 100 to $ 1000 on: November 22, 2019, 11:56:36 PM

Hello I am new I need a loan ranging from 100 to 1000 $. I would like to invest this money in my personal activities! I could not have a loan on the loan platforms because the minimum there is 1btc. I'm open to all proposals. thank you in advance
So on the other platforms, the loans are being offered for free? Man, why don't you take that 1 BTC and invest in some of your other personal activities as well? Who doesn't like more money?

Contact me tell you where the son-in-law without a security loan, even for beginners
Stop it, scammer, you don't have a penny on you to lend it to anyone.
115  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multi Account in Bounty Campaign on: November 22, 2019, 11:52:39 PM
It's also a general consensus that if you participate in any campaigns or bounties two more than one bitcointalk account, you're a cheater.
Is it? Two accounts in the SAME campaign or bounty when the rules specify that this aren't allowed. But what's the problem of having two accounts each one in its own campaign? Even hilarious was once in two campaigns at the same time. One of a gambling website I forgot the name and ChipMixer with his alt account.
Oh no, that's not what I meant. It's fine to have multiple accounts in different signature campaigns as long as you follow the rules of the forum and are not a massive account farmer. The general consensus I'm talking about is the rule good managers enforce in all their signature campaigns that is, don't participate in the same campaign with multiple accounts. I know hilarious did and a couple of other reputed members as well.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 22, 2019, 11:48:19 PM
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.
Not necessary my ways but I'll just list down some general ways to not stop but control gambling,

- Talk to family members and your closed ones about your problem
- Get professional medical help
- Give control of your money to your accountant or someone who will take care of your spendings
- Keep yourself busy so you don't have time to gamble.
117  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multi Account in Bounty Campaign on: November 22, 2019, 11:42:33 PM
Also, correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to be a Junior member and above to join a bounty campaign?
Unlike signature campaigns, anyone can join social media campaigns, even newbies. Their task is to promote the project off forum. Hence, their ranks here doesn't matter. They get paid based on how many followers they have.
I believe good campaign managers only accept junior members and above. I mean what is the point of keeping that one account per person rule when they can literally create 100's of social media accounts to participate in the bounties? It's really bad for the forum that a person with 100 social media accounts has to create 100 bitcointalk accounts as well to use them. This needs to stop and the most effective way is, restrict the campaigns to people who have earned a merit or two at least.

There is a general consensus among bounty managers that you can't enroll with more than one account but since there is no rule regarding this in this bounty campaign, am not sure if what they/he did can be considered as cheating (they/he didn't break anu rule)
It's also a general consensus that if you participate in any campaigns or bounties two more than one bitcointalk account, you're a cheater.
118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dormant blockchain.com accounts? on: November 22, 2019, 10:41:14 PM
From what I know they don't have access to any means to access users' coins. At least that's what they claim.
You're totally correct there. I have followed several events on their blog and they have managed to raise good investments from venture capitalists with a legit team that doesn't hide behind the shady domains. Having access to user funds will not impress any investors to put any money on the start-up as they know the market evaluation will drop drastically if someone with the lost password claims their coins have been moved.
119  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Black Friday 2019 on: November 22, 2019, 10:33:13 PM
The problem with paying with Bitcoin right now is that Bitcoin's price is about 30% off... So we are not getting really good deals right now :/
It doesn't really matter I think. The black Friday sales do happen every year regardless of the price fluctuations. On the other side, what's the point of holding all those bitcoins if you can't spend them nicely on one day?

I used to follow this page https://bitcoinblackfriday.com/ to get the deals every year but it seems like the owner gave up this year. Watching this thread.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GitCoin? The project that actually matters! on: November 22, 2019, 05:58:03 PM
I've been browsing it for a week or two, but so far didn't even bid on a single bounty, as they get taken very quickly. But this site has really good daily flow of new bounties, compared to other platforms that I monitor, and the pay rates seem to be decent. Really looking forward to starting my career as a gitcoin bounty hunter.
Finally, someone found that coin lol I'm glad you found it interesting unlike other idiots in this board who fall victim to shitcoin projects. I haven't found myself a bounty yet but I don't want either, I just want to support a good altcoin project that doesn't intend to scam people or run shady IEO's.

GitCoin project will certainly interest you if you're a developer.
