348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / [SOLVED] Problem With Bitcoin Daemon and PHP - 0.5btc reward on: September 07, 2011, 06:37:17 PM
Hi,

Ive been creating sites using PHP and the daemon for the past couple of weeks. But keep running into the same problem on each site.

SOLVED!

Turns out i had the wrong password! it was only in 1 part of my code so it broke when ever that was called before hand! ahh

I have the daemon running on a virtual machine, and the web server as WAMP.

I use the daemon with getbalance, move, sendtoaddress etc.

Occasionally, the daemon would randomly stop working.

For example:

Quote
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'Unable to connect to .... in jsonRPCClient.php on line 140

The error would link back to this command:

Code:
$bitcoin->move("account", "user2", $jackpot, 1);

sometimes it would work, and other times the error. Usually the error happens on that particuar line of a file. and sometimes on a GetBlance command.

Its very tempremental so i have no idea whats causing it!

To the first person that comes up with a solution will get 0.5btc
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / New bitcoin game - Need about 5 testers. on: September 07, 2011, 06:20:52 PM
Hi,

Im 99% complete on a new bitcoin game, but i need to gather some testers first.

Will be simple, add me on msn - joe@joeyjoe.co.uk. then i will set you up a test account, with a btc balance but you wont be able to withdraw anything.

and basically play the game untill your bored or what ever. I will check the accounts afterwards to see how it went.

Cant put it up publically at the moment.

msn is a must

Thanks

Joe

for a poker site to publish their random number generator is the worst thing they can do! another poker site done the same to prove that it was accurate, and someone managed to program an app that will generate all the random possibilities of the cards dealt (as it was down to microseconds), as soon as 5 cards were known (flop and the players hand), it would narrow it down to the exact deal that everyone has got.

someone became rich that day!
351  Economy / Gambling / Re: [INTERBIT LOTTO] - Round 6 - Now With Instant Wins and a Rolling Jackpot! on: September 01, 2011, 01:58:43 PM
im not sure, found the problem was down to a > that was suppose to be a <  Grin

Im working on a brilliant project at the moment. Addictive and with upto 20x payouts. will be popular i think when it starts.

As for the lotto, i will fix and put it back up soon, but bit unsure as its quite hard to get people to play them. slow moving.

the first 5 rounds were 100% payback, but now i removed the smallpot, put up the jackpot, added instant wins and a rolling jackpot. i guess its still 100% payback though.
