I can't GPU mine with an Intel G965, can I? I'm almost positive I can't, but I might as well ask.

244  Other / Beginners & Help / Is Bitcoin Plus a good deal? on: August 20, 2011, 06:51:25 AM
I've been mining with Bitcoin Plus (http://www.bitcoinplus.com/generate?for=7258513) for a while now. I don't have a (mineable) GPU, so I only get .6 to .8 Mh/sec. This is more than I get from using a miner, and most of my work gets thrown out of a pool anyway. Is it worthwhile to do this, or am I just wasting electricity?
245  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying whatever you'll give me for 1.3 bitcoins. Literally fucking anything. on: August 20, 2011, 06:43:38 AM
And I was all ready to offer 29 cents in Visa gift cards. Or a $15 iTunes card.

You could try Linux Coin which comes with Bitcoin tools pre-installed.

If you're a new user and have a slow Internet connection, you might need to wait to download the block chain, especially if you keep closing bitcoin and screwing around with your wallet.

Why not use one of the poker sites that accept bitcoins, like this one:

If you have the block chain up to date, the payments should appear almost instantly, but it takes time to confirm.

Oh, sorry. I didn't understand what you were offering.  Sorry, I only want to trade for currency.
258  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - $15 iTunes gift card on: August 17, 2011, 08:17:37 PM
You're not really making an effective deal here.
259  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - $15 iTunes gift card on: August 17, 2011, 06:45:07 PM
Can you convert the peridot to BTC? I'll take a bit less to account for fees.
260  Economy / Goods / WTS - $15 iTunes gift card on: August 17, 2011, 06:37:22 PM
I have a $15 dollar iTunes gift card that I will sell for 1.35 BTC. If you buy these, I'll throw in one Visa gift card with 0.28 USD and another one with a penny on it for no extra charge! That's about it, really.
