Tomorrow we are announcing our own kickstart platform with the possibility of a refund.

And also a plan for developing a token for the next six months.

The goal is $ 5 per coin.

Head of development.

Make that goal 10K a pop :p Where can we follow the new announcements? Here on ANN or are you planning on using something else?

Glad there is still some interest in SC

Merry Christmas

What is the percentage for holding at least 100 Startcoins on their site?

They stopped giving those weekly payouts a long time ago, pulled my coins to an offline wallet since. Been several months, maybe even a year since my last payout. Don't know if they re-introduced this feature though, but I don't think so

I just checked

May 27th 2016, 15:07   StartJOIN Reward   2.56029477
May 20th 2016, 15:14   StartJOIN Reward   2.52946716
May 13th 2016, 17:22   StartJOIN Reward   2.54382120

Those were my last payouts, I think about 6 months later I pulled my coins

FYI I had ~ 11000 SC on there, so the payouts for 100 SC would be really really small

My wallet keeps on having issues... what does this mean?

I just synced my wallet, so it appears the problem is on your side

EDIT

I have no idea what that error might mean

My coins are still on v1 (https://www.startjoin.com/) and I don't see how I can send these coins to v2 (https://v2.startjoin.com/)

Will this feature be implemented later on, or should I make a new wallet and dump my coins there for the time being?

Cheers

You don't need to send them, I think you have missed the deadline to move them yourself. They will migrate your account to V2 automatically when they decide to get their useless shit together.

Ok, thanks for the reply!

He said publicly in the FUD den that Frank's dumping would only make it cheaper to buy back coins. I'm not finding the search function to be very helpful, so either he deleted it (which makes sense if he wants a good price), or the search function is crap.

I don't feel like helping the manipulators do their job, so I'm not saying anything else I could say. I underestimated the suppression tactics being played, but just know that anyone who claims the insiders don't believe in StartCoin's future is very wrong. I won't be selling a single coin at a loss and I'll be actively trading this market as my primary focus.

From here on out people need to make their own decisions. My naive attempts to help out noobs are only hurting my own interests. Considering I'm just getting attacked I'm done being the martyr. Time to make some money.

Well said. Let them bathe in their own ignorance while you are making money Wink

So, I'm not a miner and have yet to try it. It doesn't sound as profitable as just trading the coins. If I were to mine START, though, what equipment is used? Is it even profitable?

You should give it a shot, it's really fun. But unfortunately, with a regular setup you'll probably lose more on electricity nowadays.

a) You would either be using your graphics card's processing power to calculate the blocks, this was my method for mining.
I used a program called CCminer to "connect" my workers (bots you create, very easy) to the GPU. You could literally be mining in
under 5 minutes, it's that simple. But like I said, with a single GFX card you'll probably not even break even.

b) your CPU. (have not tried this, and is probably equally futile)

Miners who actually "get rich" mining, are probably those with (access to) a farm (large array of GFX cards or a bunch of servers)

Yet the "thrill" of mining your own coins is exhilarating Wink It's easier than you think, I'm sure.

Hi,
what is the currently best pool to mine StartCoin? I have just checked pools listed on official page, but very low hashrate, low amount of workers.
Thanks.

Not much atm in terms of MH/s, nor workers, but I liked this pool a lot in the past: https://www.suchpool.pw/

It's one of the more easy to use and professional pools out there imo. I stopped mining because the payout I weekly get at startjoin.com
for holding my coins there is larger than I can mine myself.

You can easily set the Automatic Payout Threshold, Donation Percentage, etc yourself. Other pools were either too unprofessional, or in some cases
the complete lack of user interface was quite bothersome. Anyway, hope this helped.

Cheers

That gives us plenty of time to discourage others from buying into this maggot infested ponzi.

Just make sure your poison resistance is high or carry some antidotes.  Grin

God I love(d) that game!

Litecoin/Startcoin comparision:

Back then:
Nov 21 2013 Litecoin about 6 dollars - Karl Gray is into it, goes to Max Keiser on Keiser report - https://youtu.be/V8_HT8zfc78?t=1473 - This leads to price of Litecoin Nov 28 2013 of about 48 dollars - Max also announces that Karl has accumulated more than 100000 Bitcoin

Now: Karl Gray announces 20 million StartCOIN fund (that's similar to 80 000 bitcoin at current prices) https://youtu.be/FkOEvx2-13E?t=5582 - and that he actually believes StartCOIN will be as big as bitcoin

This at least makes me exited.  Smiley

I hope you mean excited Tongue

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkOEvx2-13E

22nd June 2015
Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen

Host: Stacy Herbert
Appearances by: Max Keiser, Kim Dotcom, George Galloway, Simon Dixon and the Dead Reds.

Intro 00.00 - 16.00
The Dead Reds 16.10 - 48.40
Panel Session 1.01.50 - 2.15.50
Kim Dotcom 2.15.50 - End

Unfortunately, there's currently an abrupt cut moving the recording from the panel session to Kim's Interview at 2.15.50. This is due to multiple files being compiled.

We are in the process of determining whether this can be resolved - if so, a new version will be provided in the near future. It is a less than 1 min missed where we connected with Kim on Skype and start of his introduction.

I have a question for someone who understands these things better than me. There are several exchanges trading Startcoin, the main one being Bittrex but there is also Justcoin. Now this exchange doesnt seem to have the same structure as others in that it sells Startcoin above the price of Bittrex and they are grouped in chucks of 12000 coins. I have been watching the trading on Justcoin and quite often trades are for in excess of 100,000 coins a day.

The funny thing about it is that you rarely see any one sell any coins to the exchange and if they do they are in small quantities. So my question is where do they get there stock from they must have sold > 500,00 in the last week?

A lot of it may be from the coins on the debit cards. There where 150 backers, and each card got 25000 start. That's 3,75 million coins. If somebody refills their card with startcoin I guess it will also be sold the same way. They obviously don't want to depress the startcoin price, so it's always higher than the Bittrex price. It's for those who want to buy a lot of start without affecting the price much.

I was one of those 150, and no-one received 25000 START. We all received a debit card topped up with 250 USD.

EDIT. I did buy 10500 START with the 250 USD, not sure what the others did with their money

And just as suddenly,it's rocketing back up!

um did we just lose 1m market cap in one second?

we were on 2.4m now 1.4m?

I've noticed too. Crazy volatility last hour or so
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: March 14, 2015, 01:54:43 PM
Everyone venting their concern about not getting the 25000 startcoin they pledged for are all being silenced, this is disgusting play.

Only a small minority of spammers that were trying to game the system for personal gain were banned. And rightfully so, I might add.

I don't know if you can read Limbaugh, but the VAST MAJORITY of ALL PLEDGERS wanted 25000 START. Only a small minority is happy with the 250 USD. There was a simple question asked in the comment section for the SJ ANX project: Did you want START or USD. EVERYONE said START. NOT A SINGLE SOUL ANSWERED USD. You people make me sick. Anyways, I bought 250 € worth of START, which got me a whopping 10000 START. So yeah, I do feel ripped off Wink Just like THE VAST MAJORITY. Don't listen to this guy, he doesn't speak for us AT ALL

thx for selling i finally have some startcoin, is it still possible to order these startcoin debit cards? will there be a new batch ?

The card was 155 usd (to be paid in BTC). They're sold out and no news on a new batch I'm aware of
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: February 12, 2015, 12:26:09 PM

Start just got their funding for StartDebit card.

That's why the price is up big.  Start now has banks supporting it.

When will the debit cards be available?

There has been no date mentioned for the public release of the Startcoin ANX debit card. The StartJOIN project page states March is the delivery date for those that participated.

https://www.startjoin.com/anxcard

The project ended yesterday when the last available cards were sold. The ANX debit cards will be pre-loaded with 25000 START and will be delivered starting March 2015.

I bought one of the last yesterday at 155$/card. At current rates that investment has already paid for itself, unless the price drops dramatically before the card's arrival.
