81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: August 01, 2021, 05:41:05 AM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?

Now the problem of scams is really urgent. Because of the hype around NFT there are a lot of newbies and new projects every day. All good projects now are improving their products and are waiting for the time when all this hype is over and they will be able to launch and have a strong community who is interested in their product as well, but not only in fast selling their token after a small growth.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing coin in a big exchange ask for a refundable security deposit? on: August 01, 2021, 05:35:20 AM
Hi

I am not sure if I am dealing with scammers, but I am dealing with a big exchange right now, and they are asking me to deposit cash as a security deposit, that is refundable the next months.

It sounds like a scam to me (are they going to run with this money and never list my coin)?

Is it a current practice?

I haven’t listed my token on exchanges yet, as I don’t have such a big experience to create my own coins, but I haven’t heard about asking for a deposit before. Nevertheless, if you are sure about this exchange (you said that it was big), there is no point for you to worry. This step from exchange might be quite reasonable. If your project is a scam they might pay for it to users.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of crypto on: August 01, 2021, 05:26:41 AM
Now these days Crypto market  become most important day by day because if I see previous history crypto not have any value but now crypto have great value and in future become more successfull

What value of crypto are you talking about? But it is a more philosophical question,as on the one hand, we can consider everything to be valuable if people want to buy it. Like gold wouldn’t be valuable if people didn’t want to pay money for it. Everything is very  comparatively. So we should change our conscience and accept crypro as something really valuable as we pay money for it.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: July 31, 2021, 06:01:27 AM
Looking at the past financial crises that happened, they all seem to have a few things in common, such as the mass adoption of a new financial product or technology (e.g. mortgage backed securities in 2008, dotcom boom in 2000). Given the extent to which institutions (and some influential figures) have been manipulating crypto recently, do you guys think this narrative is likely?

I don’t think that now cryptocurrency is such a massive occupation that it can have a big impact on the economy of one country or especially throughout the world. But, on the other hand, there are more and more people on the crypto market who come and start investing. I hope that people make their decision of entering the crypto market wisely and they don’t take loans for trading that they can’t pay off then what could be destructive for the economy.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: July 31, 2021, 05:53:33 AM
the primary role of government is to provide a regulatory framework in an economy, Government sole responsibility is to provide a guideline on how thing are to be done within their jurisdictions.

this is not different with cryptocurrency although cryptocurrency is created with high anonymous the truth remains that cryptocurrency co-exist with other factors in the economy such as the bank and the traditional currencies, for crypto to become a full flesh currency it need to under go government regulation because that is the only way cryptocurrency will be considered a legal currency.

questions:

will will government regulations on cryptocurrencies undermined crypto decentralized nature?
Initially cryptocurrencies were created to be out of the control of authorities, so if the government captured the control over crypto, the main idea would be destroyed. Nevertheless, different actions from the governments can have a big negative impact on the crypto world/ For example, they can ban different services and exchanges on their territory.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I started investing in crypto 4 years ago but recently did I made profits on: July 31, 2021, 05:44:50 AM

What was your first DEFI Coin?
Did you got rug pulled?

I have a similar story. Mostly I fall back on different crypto bloggers as I consider them to be more experienced in this than me. But I think that it comes with time that you start understanding which project is worth attention and which one is not. The first my defi coin was Titan. I invested in Iron finance, but fortunately I managed to sell off before this big crash, so I earned there instead of losing.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT(NON FUNGIBLE TOKEN)... which are the best to invest in 2021? on: July 27, 2021, 07:29:51 AM
Many people are increasingly convinced that together with Defi or in any case immediately afterwards, the other uptrend will see NFT tokens as protagonist. What do you think ? what is the project with the most potential in your opinion? is there any project that will go up to Mars? .... obviously excluding bitcoin Grin

thanks guys

If you are confused by this big amount of Non-fungible tokens you can just invest in the NFT Index (NFTI). It includes 8 tokens of platforms that are connected with the NFT-sphere.
Also I think you should investigate NFT gaming. Tokens of such projects have good growth now, as many people bring their money there. You can try DuckWaves, for example, or Kanarea on Kusama.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the older Meme coins a good investment? on: July 27, 2021, 07:23:05 AM
I think that old meme coins that have already had their hype are the worst investment.
Moreover, now people switch to NFT, especially NFT gaming, from meme coins, so you shouldn't be stuck in previous trends and follow new ones. There is not so much liquidity in meme coins, so their hype is over. So if you don’t want to be left with plenty of useless, depreciated tokens in the future, don’t buy it.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: July 26, 2021, 01:00:12 PM
Personally I think that Ethereum still has potential. Devs continue developing their product. New financial solutions appear upon it all the time. And we definitely shouldn’t forget about Ethereum 2.0. It promises to make Ethereum more scalable, cheaper and more eco-friendly.
On the other hand, new sidechains and Blockchains that are faster and cheaper appear all the time. So they are real contests for Ethereum, but anyway I think that this currency is unlikely to die.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 26, 2021, 12:52:26 PM
In any case crypto is very risky, but we can decrease the level of risk by careful investigation. It includes overview team’s member, learning the docs and scrolling social media.
But actually you can't understand all proposes of devs, so if they don't initially want to make their token useful and profitable for us, if they make it initially as a scam, we can't protect ourselves, so the main things are to diversify and to invest only such sum of money that you can afford to lose.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 26, 2021, 12:44:46 PM
According to the present market scenario, several good currencies, such as XRP, TRX, and others, are decreasing due to various causes.I recommend investing at least $10,000 in XRP, TRX, and other similar currencies, since these coins will soon yield a significant profit margin.

I agree about TRX, I also find this coin quite promising. At least we use it to run transactions in the Tron chain that is the 5th in popularity among Blockchains. So as opposed to meme coins, it has something useful under it.
And personally I have my list of coins that I choose very carefully, investigating social media, docs, ideas, devs team. And I buy more and more of them every month, and especially now, on drawdown.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: July 25, 2021, 02:01:10 PM
Dogecoin is dropping. Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again?

To my mind it can easily drop even lower than 0,2$. I also think that the only reason why dogecoin grew was an advertisement from Elon Musk. As soon as he stops doing that, the price will only fall. Moreover, total supply is unlimited so there is nothing that can support the price apart from hype, especially if there is a bear market. It doesn’t carry any utility for the crypto market, so I don’t consider this coin to have a future.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Predict $20,000 for dogecoin in 5years time on: July 25, 2021, 01:55:49 PM
I don’t understand why you are so optimistic about Dogecoin. To my mind, everything that supports its price were Elon Musk’s tweets. But this support is so weak and can't always exist. In support of my words, some weeks ago Mask mentioned dogecoin on his Twitter again, but the price changed by only 2% and then returned to the previous level. People understand his manipulation of the price so they don’t react so significantly any more.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: July 25, 2021, 01:48:18 PM
I don't think that now it is time for the bull market again. We have seen a Bitcoin price rebound from $ 30,000 to $ 34,000 the other day, but I don't think that it is a green flag. I can connect such a positive movement with a conference on the 21st of July, where Elon said some positive things about Bitcoin, so I consider this small rise to be its result.
There is an index of fear and greed that analyses BTC volatility, social media, trading volume, trends and domination. And now it shows that people are scared, which means that it might be a good point for entrance, but it is definitely not a bull run coming.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 24, 2021, 02:57:16 PM
Unfortunately it is true that people are  not used to thinking on their own, but listening to others' opinions. Of course it is much easier and you don’t need to do researches this way. But it is a way to lose all your money, to my mind. I believe Elon Musk as he said that he is going to develop the system. He holds Bitcoin as well as his team and company do. He wants it to be successful, so now I quite agree with his thoughts.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: July 24, 2021, 02:44:08 PM
Someone told me not long ago: Bitcoin is a dangerous game. It is even possible for some people or groups to take over the blockchain through a majority and destroy the entire mechanism. People don't know they are playing these games.

For a long time buying Google at a high price, Amazon and Apple are both good choices for me.

Yes, there are a lot of stocks there, there are also cryptocurrencies, there are also many bonds and debt instruments.
In the US, there are obviously 9,600 mutual funds (quick Google search)
. The question is, which of the thousands is worth buying.

Just because some or many of the available options are not good investments, it does not mean that the entire asset class is bad.

The prosperity of encryption technology is just like the technological prosperity. They have got a lot of IPOs because of various stupid ideas. Most of these technology companies are stupid and not worth it.
Nowadays, there are many ICOs, most of them are stupid and not worth it.

However, there are still opportunities to realize value.

Also about digital assets. Digital assets have become a reality.
Did you know that Fortnite had nearly $2 billion in revenue last year?
Do you know what these billion users got? Different appearances in the game can give characters different dance moves.
You can play the exact same game without paying any fees.

People are usually afraid of obscurity. All my surroundings don't understand economic issues and consider all financial instruments(shares, bonds, cryptocurrencies) to be deceptions. And all these stories, when people lose their money only worsen the situation.
They also say that Bitcoin is too dangerous and people who invest in it just waste their money. As soon as people learn about Bitcoin and Blockchain they will definitely change their opinion.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 24, 2021, 12:41:43 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
There were a lot of calculations on this topic, and the result was always the same both in the stock market and in the crypto: long-term investment is more profitable.Personally I stick to the strategy of having better part of your assets in different fundamental currencies like Bitcoin, BNB, Ethereum etc, but 5-10% if you have enough time you can of course use for trading, for new strange projects, as it can give you fast income, although big losses as well.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancake Swap on: July 22, 2021, 06:14:03 AM
I need help getting set up with Pancake Swap. I live in the US. I have watched about 75 videos. Some say you can use Binance.us and other say you can use KuCoin to buy cake and bnb for the fees.

So what do I do first? Set up my MetaMask Wallet, set up my Pancake Swap Account, buy by bnb/cake on KuCoin?
I wish there was a class specifically for this so I can have someone explain it as Im doing it rather than which 50 videos and at times the person given a video goes off on tangent or goes to fast. Ugh. Help.

I don't know why you were recommended to use Kucoin for it. Personally I do it in the following way: in my Metamask I switch to Binance Smart Chain instead of ETH mainnet. And then I buy cakes just in pancakeswap. But you need to have some BNB to interact with this chain. You can get them via Binance exchange (if it is not banned in the USA), just register on it and buy some for your Metamask.
99  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: correct trading signals on: July 22, 2021, 06:08:41 AM
i am new in crypto world and i don't know how can i get right signals on right time . i joined some paid group but they gave me some good and some bad signals too. then i learned about indicators and i used some indicators but some time it didn't work for me. i want to know that where am i making mistake and what should i do to get a handsome profit.

As you are a newbie, I don't think that trading, especially using signals, is a good decision. In my point of view you should always rely only on your own research based on fundamental reasons and different good news.  TA can also work, but only if it is quite calm in the market and there is enough liquidity in this token. I mean when many traders track the charts and see different patterns and indicators, so they make similar decisions.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 22, 2021, 05:56:36 AM
Personally I can’t agree with you. Some altcoins carry real value, so I  stick to the strategy of choosing some altcoins in the top-100 list on coinmarketcap, and then to hodl, and buy more on a regular basis. Of course, there are some coins that exist only for speculation but definitely not for holding (meme coins). To decide whether I am interested in this altcoin I investigate and understand the idea, read documents, find out about development team and marketing campaign.
