83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gridcoin (GRC) - first coin utilizing BOINC - Official Thread on: February 28, 2015, 08:30:55 AM
I voted and re-tweeted the bitspark tweet several times. I am glad Bitspark is taking Gridcoin seriously.

Hi everyone,

CEO of Bitspark here, George Harrap. I've been keeping an eye on Gridcoin and we recently had it in our coinvoting round, unfortunately we didn't see much traction from the community on our voting for Gridcoin but I am interested to support the growth of GRC. We will be unveiling some pretty awesome updates in the next few weeks (keep an eye on your favourite crypto news outlet) and I'd be interested to list GRC on the exchange at some stage, including direct convertibility to fiat and accessible in a number of languages we are rolling out plus some goodies we are working on. We want to support crypto projects that can change the world for the better and Gridcoin looks like a step in the right direction.

Looking to gauge the community interest in this Smiley.

@traderman, @mikekolba, @RTMoney, all

Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, I think Gridcoin can be a good addition to Bitspark- I am constantly extolling the virtues of some of the innovation happening in the altcoin scene at every event I'm at here in Hong Kong and Gridcoin is a good example of that- I think that would turn some heads. After our current batch of updates we will look into implementation. I'll keep everyone posted here and also our social media feeds are the best sources of information.

88  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bringing Bitcoin to the world-competing with Western Union on: December 28, 2014, 10:09:33 AM
Hi All, Bitspark established the world first cash in cash out remittance service between Hong Kong--> Philippines (utilising bitcoin as the means of transmission) about 2 months ago and have been competing with established players like Western Union daily- see some of our coverage. We can send money overseas at half the cost of the competitors to thousands of pickup locations (Banks, Pawn shops, door-2-door) in the Philippines and soon to be launching our services to a number of new countries in the new year (finalising talks now).

We are always welcoming of new partners in expanding remittances globally so if this is something anyone would be interested in feel free to PM us!

Regards,

The Bitspark Team

the goal of Peatio is to become the MetaQuotes in bitcoin exchange development field , offering the best product and service for all bitcoin fans who want to build their own bitcoin exchange in the world.

Shaoping, if you want serious adoption of your software you need extensive english user/developer documentation, i18n support, working english demo server, etc. You seem to have some number of programmers working on the code, but you have to dedicate some resources on tasks mentioned above. I like what you've done, I'm not a Ruby guy so can't help with the code, just encouraging you to keep up the good work.

Hi, we have been using Peatio for a while now with Bitspark. There is an english demo server here there are about 6 languages supported already see the github please read through the readme Peatio is the most advanced exchange project in Bitcoin and has been for the past 10 months. Peatio is backed by a dedicated team who have been using it with yunbi.com for a while now and have some pretty big volume compared to other international exchanges. We actively contribute to the github when we can too and it's good to see Peatio getting more traction in the community. Thanks.

We have already launched this round of voting prior to getting the feedback from the Fibre community so it would not be fair to add a new coin to an already existing month long vote round. Having said this, we will add Fibre to the following round Smiley Cheers!

We've picked up a lot of attention for our world first cash remittance solution using bitcoin. Some of the features we've had so far:

Techinasia
e27
Cointelegraph

We have more in progress and will update when we do, including some large mainstream outlets.... Smiley
