banzai im not a troll but with all due respect you absolutely cant blame anyone for being super skeptical and cautious after all the shit that happened and the community has gone through
to summarize:
chip1 takeover by you
chip1 swap to pio with ico
pio swap to amdex + exchange with ico
amdex swap to ame + exchange v2 with ico
now ame swap to chip2 with ico again
Alright.. In short:
Chipcoin was taken over and rebranded to Pioneershares to work with out exchange plan. We had an ICO round as well (please note this was in 2015 or something when BTC was only 3-400 bucks)
PIO swap to AMDEX was to gain extra attention in the community, with an extra planned ICO round to generate an exchange reserve fund
AMDEX to AME was the final round to raise the last bit of funds we needed to clear any debts with users, after we suffered from a withdrawal bug in 2019. Plus we were moving to AmsterEX instead of DEX which became confusing when all the "Dex" exchanges were suddenly popping up out of nowhere.
In this construction, it was not about the total coins one had, but about the amount of percentage of fees one would receive. Each round, the total percentages went up as well to compensate for that matter (40 to 60).
It was purely used as a stock share for a business.
The exchange itself, is not written off, nor did it fail. It's currently on hold until we work out all the legal stuff that is required to keep on operating the exchange without having to move overseas to some shady country. It's coming back 100%. In this case, the fee payout will again go up fom 60 to 80%. In that setting, the total shares one receives, is still the same as when everything started.
The reason for swapping back to CHIP, is
a: we needed a name not bound to a country or city (Amsterdam in this case).
b: We are not focussing only on the exchange anymore. Instead, a regular crypto, with regular projects and developments is more appealing for a bigger audience. And the exchange release in the future will only contribute to the community and their holdings.

The reason I'm not friendly to obvious trolls, is because they are poison on this forum. I've been on this board for about 6 years, and the last 2 have been insane with the amount of trolling thats going on here. And if the moderators don't handle the trolls, we will moderate ourselves. Nothing to do with freedom of speech whatsoever. This is a platform, and this platform allows to moderate your own thread, probably to save the board moderators a lot of headache. If I'm not mistaking, this option was added exactly for that reason. Now it's time to go back to my old self, and ignore the trolls lol
