So, the real story, and not the one from a random newbie account who's using a bought account.. Chipcoin was launched by a user with the pseudonym "Chips" in 2014 The original developer left the project without a word. I took over Chipcoin in 2015, and rebranded it to make it work with our Exchange. I also started a blockexplorer service called blockpioneers.info in 2015, and hosted around 90 explorers for all kinds of good coins and shitcoins.. Early 2019, we suffered from a software bug on the exchange (amsterdex) that cost us 8.5 BTC. It took a while to get to that amount for refunding, but we did. And we could reopen the exchange again (as amsterex). Last month, our exchange had to close down for multiple reasons (laws and personal) This week we relaunched Chipcoin, and have users swap back to CHIP, and have a small presale for non-miners and to create a small development fund. All these other coins you name, I dont know them or I just worked for them once or twice with a wallet update or something or as an escrow service. Which was pretty common in those days, since not many people knew how to do that back then But you would not know that, because you are rather new in this crypto universe.. Oh yeah, XMAS, that was my own.. A new years joke (was advrtised as that) from around 3-4 years ago, with 0 community interest or damage lol.

We have an "estimate" page on the explorer. https://chain.amsterex.com/estimateHowever, this page is currently provided with dummy data. Our new explorer should be ready in a couple of days, and will give a "real time" estimate. So am I understand correctly, that payments are done in AME every 7 days? And please answer to the question what is needed for staking, client has to be online? Thanks! Correct, we buy back AME from the market with the generated exchange fees. And distribute the AME back to holders with claimed address. This way we create constant buy pressure in the future. Users can keep their AME and grow their percentage, or sell the AME whenever they like. For now, payment is done monthly, we decided that a couple of days ago in discord (most updates are there). We will move to weekly payments when volume gets bigger. Sorry, missed that other question. Yes, your wallet is required to be online and unlocked for staking. |
