1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: February 15, 2015, 08:09:22 PM
OK, I got question.

I'm in the US, got screwed over for about 10btc out of this, which was a significant portion of personal savings,(sorry, I'm not I'm not rich guy.).  Anyway, it's tax time and I'm trying to figure out if I can write this off as a loss on my taxes, and If so how?  Would having a police report in hand help, especially since it falls basically into theft or as an Un-licenced security.

Specifically, I had cashed out a savings account from an old job, and just got the tax information on it, which NOW I get to try and pay back with the bullshit dust coming in each week or two.  I had just bought into the account, shortly before he crashed it, and had a while left before the imaginary ROI point.

Since I noticed jason was back on again, today, I thought I'd make sure he didn't lock the forum, since he started it.  I'm really surprised that He's let this continue in a section he has some control on, unless he is using it as a way to see whats coming against him.

Thanks for the link to the ICC, I'm going to tweek the template provided earlier and get them working for me too.

Again, thanks to all you guys doing the solid leg work on the information hunting and law enforcement contacts.

I noticed that the user accounts on the russian site included all of our accounts as well, just hadn't bothered to confirm that he was using it to fluff out the numbers as a draw to both groups.

Well if we went either way, ponzi or unregistered security, is it ethical that we try to get paid before his PBmining.ru website scam hits a reef?
I'm personally out about 10 BTC, and had just bought a big contract, for me anyway, and I am far from happy about it.
I'm in the US, and I'm wondering who the best route is to go thru for the complaint, local, state, or feds?
Will any of this actually result in any return of funds?  I've been reading this forum since about page 5, when I caught on that this was going on for sure, and I also wanted to make sure to say thanks to all you guys who have put some solid legwork into this, whether or not you had an investment.

Jason, you don't know me but I had just bought into PB a couple of months ago, about 11-BTC worth of contracts, pretty much all the savings I could risk, all hard won money.  Money given in trust, like many others.

Just remember this, you may be ripping off me and my fellow account holders, but once your in lockup you might be surprised what a couple of soups, or cell phone given in payment will buy us for taking care of the fresh meat, or PIG in this case.  The ROI will be quick, and it will keep paying and paying and paying.

Oh and just so you know, I'm one of the good guys.  You have already made a worse mistake by going after the Russians, they are not nice, and they don't forget.  I'm not sure if bear eats pork but I'm sure they can make you squeal.

Return my money, and I wash my hands of you.

I'm going to deal with you kindly at first, an email to you, maybe two, and then file the proper complaints with your local cops and other governments types, in hopes of getting something back.  In the long run, all I have to do is wait, I'll get my monies worth from you, one way or another.

Looks like he was on earlier, probably laughing his ass off.

My problem was finally resolved, continuing to mine.

I've been trying to reach you guys over this. I have been very happy with your mining service so far, otherwise.

Thank you for replying,

Now we have never held onto an order for 30 days, but it's a way of telling you that it "won't be 12 hours anymore".   Smiley
Always use copy/paste.  Automatic mining fees don't matter since it doesn't affect the last 4 digits of the amount (+/- 0.001 is fine, etc.)

Order Number    Total Price    Quantity    Order Date    Status    Options
3849219031447     0.09120222    57    19-10-2014   New    Cancel   Finalize

I cancelled this after payment was sent, about the 22nd, because of a rounding error on my part, it refused to finalize.

And yes, I did send several emails about this and post here about it.

I do have another purchase pending, will this be credited towards it?  I'm cool with that, but since you guys don't hold balances, it's not showing any type of credit to the account, or refund back to my wallet.

Well, I definitely am not interested in reading repetitive and obsessive nutballs.

I agree, is this guy even a customer? how would he know?

Hey guys, new member.  Thanks for all the useful advice while I was lurking.

PBMINING,

Help!  Thanks to this site, I know you are swamped, I totally appreciate that, but I've been trying to contact you guys since the 19th, with no luck. The main email, ebays email, and now I joined this forum mainly to get a shot at talking to you guys.

I love the service, I started up a small account a few months ago.  It's been consistently earning, Thank you.

I set up a purchase on the 18th, and sent money the next day but rounded the amount which locked up the purchase and wouldn't finalize it.  Right after that the price dropped down to the 0.0015 BTC/GH and I just got a check that would have let me buy about 7 TH, at the 0.0015 price.  The day the check cleared, yesterday, the price jumped while I was at work.

Can you guys email me, please.  I'd like to do business, and start mining seriously.

-Omega
