While I recently joined this particular group, they seemed to have their goals attainable. They're hitting the right notes and right targets. It goes to show what a good team can do for a project. If I were you, I'd seriously do some research and invest.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NZL Zealium Coin Masternode, Proof Of Stake. Made In NZ ( Trading Now ) on: August 13, 2018, 10:31:12 AM
Just wanted to give you a guys a quick update. We have now started working on the Dice Age website even more, more coins are being added.

We are continuously working on our platform, and while I honestly have anything new to report, we are not going anywhere.

I also wanted to share about the recent increase of MasterNode scam projects. It's so sad to see them. In fact, it's even more sad that there are team members who are part of a team and they also get scammed. This seriously needs to be addressed and Zealium is all about that! Come join our discord, to find out what projects we think are doing well, what may not, and what we believe are safe investments.

Good day to everyone!

The main developer is quite responsive on the discord channel. He (or she) does listen to what you have to say. Whether it is implemented, that is left to be said. Potential for this project? It's high. However, as with any new coin, do your own research.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Review: ZEALIUM COIN on: June 18, 2018, 09:52:24 AM
Hi folks,

I'm not a person that does reviews often, and in fact while I do participate in the forum, I mainly read others' comments. However, I thought I'd make a mention a little bit of the NZL coin. Their ANN thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3126497.0

When it comes to altcoins, there are many things I take into consideration to see if it's a valid/legit coin. Now, of course you can never be 100% sure, but there are clues that you can use. Here are some of the things why I think this is not a scam.

1) They have an active discord group, and the 2 main developers are pretty much always there. They might be inactive, but they do in fact respond. In fact, they also engage with the community. They don't always talk about their coin, but they also talk about other matters happening around there or around the world. This is really important, to show that the devs have conversational skills.

2) They themselves have been scammed before and therefore, wanted to create a section within their discord for scam coins. They don't want anyone else to be let down or scammed. I think that's important because it shows that they not only care about their own project, but also other projects out there.

3) The community manager also does a fantastic job in engaging the community. It's nice to talk to him about various things.

These 3 aspects, I believe and in my humble opinion, show that they are in it for the long haul. Please visit their discord to ask questions. In fact, I encourage you to. It's good to be critical because as an investor, you need to know that what you are getting yourself into is a legit function.

Why this project will succeed?

Well, they are not over reaching. They are starting small. In their beautiful land of New Zealand. They are scaling up, as and when resources allow. They also don't promise or assure you of crazy high ROIs. Of course, market speculation can take the price of the coin either way.

Second, they already have a tie up with a local business (remember, they want to start local first). They want to be environmental friendly, which is why they are only PoS and Masternodes only.

-----

So, in closing, will they be the next DASH or PIVX? Don't know and maybe unlikely, but they are well worth your investment and if not your investment, then at least your time to look into what they are doing.

Disclaimer: This is my personal review, please do your own research about any financial decisions that you would be making.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO CARBON PROJECT - TACKLING CLIMATE CHANGE USING BLOCKCHAIN on: May 23, 2018, 12:14:19 PM
I have some concerns:

1) How would you be able to comply with different government rules and regulations?

2) Volatility is an issue, how would you tackle that?

3) What kind of solutions would you be able to provide to a country like say India, who rely quite a bit on coal. Present a business case to me like I am in the Energy department. How would you convince me?

I asked a genuine question in the discord channel and then I was kicked (maybe banned). Great stuff Flexin Smiley

I, for one, am excited to hear about this project. Here are my thoughts:

1) The bounty program is great. It's actually one of the fewer bounty programs I enjoy doing. The team has done a good job on this.
2) Does the bounty detract from the project? I think not. It only encourages more use.
3) I can't say this project will moon, though I would love it to, but the keys for it mooning is mass adoption and countries where betting is big, I see this doing well.
12  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: July 28, 2016, 09:30:45 PM
What kind of hashrates are you guys getting on DaggerHashimoto? I have an AMD R9 270x. I seem to rarely max out at 16 MH
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Mine: AMD R9 270x on: July 28, 2016, 04:50:01 PM
So the coin which I am mining is not ETH or ETC? It's another coin altogether?

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Mine: AMD R9 270x on: July 27, 2016, 04:51:04 PM
I'd like to also add this, as shown on NiceHash's website.

Algorithm    Speed (accepted)    Speed (rejected)    Profitability    Unpaid balance
DaggerHashimoto   15.79 MH/s   0.72 MH/s (4.36%)   0.0023 BTC/Day   0.00288208 BTC
Total:    0.0023 BTC/Day    0.00288208 BTC
1.52 USD/Day    1.8796 USD

Does that mean I am minining ETH?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Mine: AMD R9 270x on: July 27, 2016, 04:44:37 PM
Thank you guys. Should I use SGminer to do this and what pool?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Best Altcoin to Mine: AMD R9 270x on: July 26, 2016, 11:25:54 PM
Hi,

I am using an AMD R9 270x Powercolor GPU. What's the best Altcoin to mine? Currently I am using NiceHash Miner but is there a better coin for me the mine? Some tips would be helpful. I forgot to add but I am using the daggerhashimoto algorithm.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: February 04, 2015, 08:08:08 AM
Guys, I need some assistance. Would this coin be worth mining using my GPU? I have an AMD 6670.

Short answer is 'no'. It was, about a year ago, but no longer on account of mining difficulty.

Longer answer can be found yourself with the help of this mining profitability calculator.

Thank you for your answer. I guess I have to stick with X11.

So I was thinking of Unobtainium? Is that a good one to start with?

20  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Need Help Making a Decision on: February 04, 2015, 01:02:59 AM
You might be thinking of mining altcoins, rather than Bitcoin, so try the altcoins section.

Just in case you were thinking of Bitcoin (given the S5 mention) - your GPU will get you nowhere, immediately.
The S5 may also get you nowhere, depending on what it'll cost you to purchase, and run (electricity costs).

Thanks TheRealSteve. What do you suggest is the best altcoin presently?
