2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: July 08, 2016, 11:08:25 AM
Bitcoin is dies every month at least once, and sometimes btc dies several times every month. And I need to admit when I see some thread like this one, I ask my self how much can it last? When will it really die? This kind of threads wake up suspicion in my head, and I start to think about the end also.
I hope that will never happen, and I cant see any reason for that to happen. I`m aware of big players in this world and how big mess they can make if they wish, but btc is going up. Rising slowly and steady, he defies to everyone who wish to see him down.
I believe this kind of topics are being opened by people who lost money on trading, and now they think it will go down much more.

dont let them confused you my friend, bitcoin have only one way, this is the future not only about money, this is the future for lot of new ways to understand how things could work better.

do not listen all those trolls who his only one intention is to confused you, believe on bitcoin, she dont lie you, read again the whitepaper Wink
3  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-06-23] PayPal is warming up to bitcoin on: June 25, 2016, 10:39:16 AM
Coinbase users can sell bitcoin and cash out to their PayPal accounts. Buying bitcoin isn’t possible yet,

ATM is a great news, but it will be perfect when ppl are able to buy bitcoins at paypal, if at least an small % of paypal users start to use bitcoin, then, i have no doubt, this is a huge step forward for bitcoin.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Stops Operating in Turkey, Online Payment Sector Turns to Bitcoin on: June 10, 2016, 11:42:11 AM
maybe this could be like a lesson for others countries, but my feeling is like in the next years, we will see how govs start to jump into bitcoin in some way...

btw, this is another one good news for bitcoin, for sure, maybe paypal could learn the lesson too and start using bitcoin Wink

7  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] BTC2BID.com SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN - High rates, simple rules! on: May 23, 2016, 10:07:33 AM
Sad news for everybody enrolled: the 4th round is the last for this period, since the site has reached the budget fixed for the promotion. You will be paid as usual in 48 hours, and starting tomorrow you can remove btc2bid signature.

I honestly hope to be able in the future to manage again this kind of promotion, since i'm sure that is a good way to have a nice exposure on bitcointalk, and i want to thanks all the enrolled members for their partecipation.

As always, for questions or concern please write here or in PM.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth becomes popular, I am selling all of it on: May 23, 2016, 09:58:55 AM
The tech, smart contracts bla bla, buy eth it will go to $100 bla bla bla.

It won't go to $100 dollars, probably It will die.

It is a warning.

Sell yours before DAO dump, Vitalik's dump and other ICO's dumps.

i dont think it will die, ETH still a good alt coin IMHO, sometimes things go slowly than expected... also ATM mining ETH "for small miners" is a good choise since is profitable, ofc that i dump all of them since i just want more btc xD but i dont think that ETH will die or at least not soon.
9  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-05-21] Bitcoin Miners Follow Profit to Ethereum Blockchain on: May 23, 2016, 09:42:58 AM
I hope most of them will fckoff and start mining ETH... then the difficulty will drop and smaller individuals can start mining again. If it drops low enough, we might just see CPU/GPU mining being

profitable again. Once the ETH pump n dump has run it's course, we will see many of them coming back to Bitcoin again. We might even see some cheap coins, and I hope to cash in one that

opportunity. Ethereum pump at full throttle.... dump incoming.  Wink

even with the recent increment of the diff of ETH, mining ETH is really profitable even for small miners at the moment, but dont worry, this will be temporaly, they will come back to bitcoin soon Wink as you sayd, dump is coming, in the end everybody wants only BTC...

I agree, seems like a normal business move = profits!  There will be more and more capital coming into alts and there is room for both Bitcoin and ETH.

dont think so, ETH is just like another way to get more BTC Wink
10  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-05-23] Coinbase changes its name to Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX) on: May 23, 2016, 09:36:19 AM
sounds really strange for me, i feel like they just wanted to give a better and profesional name for his company and remove the word "coin" from it, is really strange that they want to do it now, maybe they are just doing a marketing strategy to made some noise before the halving...

pd: i like coinbase more than the new one Tongue
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Large gaming platform does not allow Bitcoin payment - Not regulated by law on: May 23, 2016, 09:29:24 AM
why should someone from BitPay or Coinbase care about it?, if this platform dont accept bitcoin yet is "his problem".

btw someone who manage a company "for gamers" should be up to date about all those type of payments, dont accept bitcoin is like dont accept money, they are not very intelligent...
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 49 days till the halving, time is flying now on: May 23, 2016, 09:20:06 AM
as we draw closer to the halving ive noticed a distinct drop in anti-bitcoin threads

seems like going against the tide is not worth their time or effort for now

as expected, but dont worry the more closer we are to the halving, the more anti-bitcoin threads you will find, those you only think that the halving will have not impact at all, are by far closer to the reality, bitcoin creator did it for one reason...and people will notice it soon.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: May 19, 2016, 11:40:21 AM
Governments and banks aren't some mysterious thingies from another Universe. They are controlled by a relatively small group of people. The same fate awaits Bitcoin if it ever grows into a thingie of that scale. There is no financial freedom for everyone, since it is only possible as long as there is financial slavery, i.e. freedom of some people at the expense of others...

All animals are equal, but some animals are definitely more equal than others

Wow! that was deep, I almost cannot comprehend it. Anyway, I know that there is a monopoly in our economy because our government are corrupt, they just serve the public by name but they actually do it for their personal interest. Just like they say that there is not permanent friends in politics by only personal interest. In bitcoin, I believe it is not corrupt, the price appreciation of bitcoin are driven by the majority of holders and not only by the whales.

Bitcoin is a technology, it can be defective, but not corrupt. People are. And they will remain so, and even more so are those who reach for power. More money means more power. So we are back where we started at, whether it is Bitcoin or not...

I think you can't get rid of corruption by creating perfect money (not necessarily Bitcoin)

Amen!, people should understand it, bitcoin already did "his job" and is a beautifull and usefull job, now people should understand that everything out of there must not be related to bitcoin, and im talking about corruption etc etc...we will never find a better way for handle our economy that bitcoin is offering us.
14  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-05-19] Holberton School Begins Tracking Student Academic Credentials ... on: May 19, 2016, 11:33:47 AM
thats the type of news that i like to read, well done, this is only one of the multiple examples out there about the utility of our technology blockchain.

For employers, it avoids having them spend valuable time checking candidates’ more will come with time,

haha they start to discover how much bitcoin/blockchain can be util for them, lets hope that others follow his examples...sometimes i think that people don't understand yet, how big bitcoin will be.
15  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: May 19, 2016, 11:24:42 AM
After see this topic paypal or bitcoin?, i'm curious who have paypal account these days.
Do you still have paypal account even though you have bitcoin?

ofc that i have a paypal account, why i would not have it? for just one simply reason, for me is still util, i mean that i can use it on many many merchants, thats exactly what bitcoin does not have ( well at least one of them ) but do not doubt that things will change soon, and if you give me the opportunity, i would use bitcoin instead paypal.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin change the world's financial system? on: May 19, 2016, 11:10:32 AM
Bitcoin fans always say that Bitcoin is changing the world.
Everyone I know doesn't care about Bitcoin, like at all, like absolutely not at all.
There are 1-2 million Bitcoin users in the world. That's like one grain of sand on an utterly huge shore.
HOWEVER it is a brilliant experiment, and I think it's absolutely fascinating.

Much could be done with Bitcoin, but it's not really used all that much. That's not exactly setting the world on fire.

Am I wrong? Can/will/has it change(d) the world?

Thank you for your posts guys!

and with only  that small ammount of people using it, it has changed lot of things Wink, for those who still thinking that this is imposible, will be very surprised in the next years, maybe more time than expected is needed, yes, but in the end the entire technology bitcoin/blockchain will change the world soon or later, so yes, it will change the financial system is just a question of time.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 19, 2016, 10:55:27 AM
I was doing some cleaning on my room and I found some floppy disks, they are around 15 years old! from the Sony brand. I don't have a floppy disk device anymore on my computer, so I used an older computer because I was curious to see if they would still work.
To my surprise, they worked and all the files were accessible.

This made me think that, you could store some Bitcoin related stuff in floppy disks too? Obviously having backups in other places too.. but floppy disks may be yet another cheap way to store files. If I put my seed key in a txt (compressed in a 7z file with a pass) and my wallet.dat file on that floppy disk, it would have lasted for 15 years. I hope that if I do this, in the next 15 years when I find the floppy disks again, I will be rich Cheesy

My advidce,  use laminated paper +  some usb sticks for example, for me is the best combination possible, well obviously trezor and all those wallets are good too but always use paper, dont know why but i fell more safer by using them than any other way.

and no, i will never use floppy disks for nothing important...
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boy claims to be from mars and says all human live eternally on: May 15, 2016, 07:02:10 PM
I say we let the poor Martian boy be and get started on making seperate bathrooms for him to go to with out being judged.
Lot of stories like this are from the parents like the child prodigy painter who turns out to be the parent.

This is a well know psychological issue that often is exhibited via child abuse, called Munchhausen by proxy. The parent uses the child as a way to gain attention for themselves. Some times it includes life threatening abuse of the child to make them ill.

instead of laugh about this boy and what he said,  people should start to care about things like you write here, lets hope that nothing is happening here and everythings is like a "joke"...

btw, is a really old video, from 2008, he must be living now on pluton... xD
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Scientists Hold Secret Meeting to Consider Creating a Synthetic Human Genome on: May 15, 2016, 06:54:17 PM
So, are they creating a superhero and villains here? It seems they are creating a mutant, improve the genes etc. What are ethical issues being raised here?

Humans will be born slaves again, owned by Google, Facebook or Nabisco...

im not sure about that, is there any difference from now?, i mean, most of the "net" people are owned by facebook, google, etc etc.... so in the end what they will change? we are already like that Tongue

and yes, Synthetic Humans could be better than most of the normal ones xD... this remind me about Battlestar Galactica lol
20  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-05-13] Visa and MasterCard Secretly Increase Processing Fees on: May 15, 2016, 06:41:30 PM
nothing new, they did it time to time and they will continue doing it for sure, this can be applied to anything related to banks, fiat transfer money etc etc, they increased fees and nothing happen, people will continue using it...

lets hope that people start to understand it and react.
