1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: November 08, 2019, 07:11:56 AM
I think Binance coin price will level out since it is only coin that didn't suffer like the rest of the altcoin markets. It will be stable while the other leading altcoins will moon hard during the next altcoin season.

I doubt it very much that there will be another an altcoin season. I mean remember madness when Monero was 600$+... Even if BTC recovered those crazy times are over. Maybe some altcoins will moon separately though.. Some like BCH or Stellar... Smiley
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real Reason Why Bitcoin Price Shot Up Today on: October 29, 2019, 01:08:35 PM
I'm sure it's related to Bitmain leadership drama.. Especially with such a surge in BCH. Let's see how it end, since there are a lot of questions to be answered in this case..
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 85% of All Bitcoin Have Now Been Mined!!! on: October 21, 2019, 01:49:11 PM
When the time comes that 99% of all bitcoin are farmed already the miners will expect a high bitcoin price or it won't be worth it anymore to mine. What will happen if only few bitcoin miners are left alone? So I understand now that bitcoin is in a race over time to become mainstream.

But higher Bitcoin price would mean that payments would cost more and would stop people from actually paying in BTC. Or there has to be a lot of transactions in a block, are there plans to increase block size in original Bitcoin?

hi
this is fake news?

Model STU-U6 from StrongU mining X11 algorithm with a maximum hashrate of 440Gh/s for a power consumption of 2200W.

Kurmi

Might be for real.., but note that on asicminervalue website it is Gh/s, so not that impressive. Not Th/s, but Gh/s Wink Oh, and X11 algo also Grin
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: October 04, 2019, 10:44:51 AM
Bitcoin is relatively up even now. I think only a significant increase in global demand would increase the price even further. Or I guess we'll need to wait for halving to occur to strip some supply. Some 'killer app' or use case would drive the price upwards also, but maybe it's more probably with newer coins.. Smiley
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: October 04, 2019, 10:33:49 AM
I was using Ark wallet at https://arkecosystem.github.io/ark-lite-wallet/app/ , but the page seems no longer available.
Is it possible to recreate Ark wallet if I have my generated secret phrase and address? Any advice? Smiley Would prefer not having to install full node desktop client thought..

The desktop client is a light client.

Delegates are the full nodes.

But would it be possible to restore my ARK balance from those "words" that I've written down while creating a wallet there? Smiley

The reliability of cryptocurrencies

Experts predict that cryptocurrency will rise in price from $8400 till $60000 or even $250,000. But what we know about the reliability of coins?

In september hash rate of the Bitcoin Network has updated the historical maximum. We know that hash rate shows the processing power of equipment. The higher its level, the more secure the net is. Analysts expect that hash rate rises. So, the Bitcoin Network will become more reliable and inaccessible for hackers.

What do you think is the reason for increasing the Bitcoin Hash rate? Is it possible that buyers in such a difficult market are growing in interest in bitcoin?

It's hardly that "buyers" are growing in interest. This sounds like traders are growing in interest, which actually don't care much about hashrate, nor even the price as long as it swings. I would think general public is growing in interest in bitcoin and therefore more and more are coming into crypto scene one way or another. Some buy, some mine, some are lured into cloudmining, some try other stuff.

9  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: October 01, 2019, 10:48:32 AM
I feel its not over yet for Bitcoin. It may be less than half from its top price, but since there is nothing actually good enough plus popular plus trustworthy enough to replace it.. and general public interest in crypto currencies increases, so Bitcoin should hop to 20-30k soon, and that would be final top price Cheesy I don't even know if I want to be right or wrong about this Grin
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are offering Negative interest rates! will this help BTC on: October 01, 2019, 08:53:32 AM
Negative interest rates are outrageous. Assets that lose value over time are not worth keeping, they are meant for using then. I think if times come when people will lose money for keeping them in banks instead of gaining (at least a little) it will be a demise of current banking system.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bull push to 600k ? on: October 01, 2019, 06:38:14 AM
I see the only way to outpace the selloffs of early holders is if large corporate funds would start getting involved and stash up with btc. That way buying pressure would outpace selling and new heights can be achieved. Otherwise its sideways.. like the last year
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not a "store of value" or "medium of exchange" ... on: October 01, 2019, 06:16:56 AM
But Bitcoin IS a medium of exchange and especially a store of value these modern times. An medium or an instrument of trade and speculation also. It's a hope for a better global monetary system  Smiley

Good old days.. Just wondering, so how many of those are still operational today Grin And how many in jail..
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ghosts. True or false. on: September 30, 2019, 10:02:08 AM
I kind of feel that there exists many things which science can't explain. Science can't even explain how the universe came from nowhere. Can't even explain why we are alive. Maybe religions are true and supernatural powers do exist Wink

Fact that science still can't explain something doesn't mean that religions or supernatural are true. They can explain nothing at all, they just create unbelievable stories, that are mostly bs Tongue
As for ghosts, they surely exist!
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: September 30, 2019, 07:54:26 AM
How crypto currency is gonna function is space age? It will be easy to keep lots of data, but network communication in big distances is very slow. What about double spending then and confirmations. Guess we'll be back to good old dollars or some equivalent Cheesy
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: September 30, 2019, 07:48:14 AM
Yeah sure holdlers lose. Especially those who held for 5+ years, lost almost everything  Grin Grin Grin Except NOT. The one's that lose most are panic sellers, they have no guts to hold for a while and therefore end up in negative balance  Cheesy
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: September 30, 2019, 07:33:32 AM
There shouldn't be so much volatility in the future, but don't expect such gains also when these times come. For traders it is actually good that crypto market is so volatile. Otherwise you can just trade on stock exchange for the same profits. Not only volatility, but don't forget predictability, it also matters a lot. Crypto is very unpredictable and I like it.. Wink
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Says That They Have Just Reached Quantum Supremacy - BITCOIN IN DANGER? on: September 30, 2019, 07:06:45 AM
I think Bitcoin will rule crypto currencies for at least about 5 years and at most about 10-15 years, and quantum computers entering actual arena are certainly more far away than that. So we shouldn't worry much.  Tongue
19  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will you use a Facebook coin? on: September 27, 2019, 08:32:20 AM
I would use it if it gives benefits to use it. I don't trust Facebook too much, but if it makes things more convenient or gives actual bosuses then why not.. But definitely wouldn't hodl too much of such coin. Long term only BTC for the win  Cheesy But Facebook would find a lot of users who would use it anyways no matter what, because its fcb Tongue

Are the guys in jail yet? I registered my tokens in some icoinvestigation website for because they spoke about initiating class lawsuit or smth to get money back. Haven't heard any news though.. There's a telegram channel, mostly trashtalking  Grin
