341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It cost me $2 + 12 hours to send $25 in BTC now on: August 17, 2017, 06:21:01 PM
SAD! For this reason now I use only Bitcoin Cash

Agreed, a bit worrying

I recently bought both coins - can't use bitcoin cash since no one accepts it yet and can't use btc since it's asking for 2.50$ on a 10$ tx

Are we really waiting for lightning to fix this ?

Nope, just waiting for merchants and services to pivot to Bitcoin Cash. Won't be long.
Well…too bad to see things roll out this way. You know, what is the Lightening Network even made for? I thought the Lightening Network has been released because I came Bitfury website where they discussed their successful taste of the lightning network…but I’m still seeing nothing. Hope it gets implemented soon, and let me see how it works out.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 17, 2017, 05:51:37 PM
Things are more intricate than that

They don't have to support Bitcoin Cash indefinitely since people will run out of their BCH tokens sooner or later even if all of them choose to get rid of these tokens. Obviously, quite a few BCH holders aren't going to sell these coins, and some may even be looking to buy more. Anyway, after this initial stage of rampant sell-offs and buy-ups is over, their hands will be untied, and they can proceed to the next level of dethroning Bitcoin (as they likely think). You also seem to discard the possibility that the cartel might be selling regular bitcoins for BCH to prop up the price of the latter

I may be wrong but I see it like this. If you are selling something you have to make the price competitive. In other words the price should be lower than in other places, otherwise people will be buying in those places and not from you. In our case if we are selling Bitcoins for Bitcoin Cash we should make people pay less Bitcoin Cash for BTC than in other places to attract buyers. Yes, such act would prop up the price of BCH, but at what cost. We'll be losing money. In fact selling Bitcoins for lower amount of Bitcoin Cash is the same thing as buying Bitcoin Cash for higher amount of Bitcoins

This is certainly not the only possibility

You can sell original bitcoins for dollars and get market rates. And then use dollars to bid up the price slowly. But this is ultimately irrelevant since you may be selling for a loss today to earn decent profits tomorrow. In fact, when you buy some asset you hope that it will rise in the future even if its price continues to decline after you make a purchase. But this is obviously not all. The cartel may not be looking for short term profits (like in "buy low sell high"). They are ultimately looking for control, and they don't care about how much it could cost them in dollar or Bitcoin terms since if they control Bitcoin (under whatever name), they control the whole market (after all, they could break even entirely via mining fees in the end)

Well, if they are people with dozens of billions USD and their aim is to control the whole market, they may try, good luck with that, but I think they will fail. Fortunately lately, I mean 15 years or so, we are living in the world where, thanks to the internet, what is really the best wins. No matter how much money you spend on promotion, if there's something which is better in the same field with the product you promote, you will fail.

In fact, I don't particularly disagree with you

At least, not in general. But the case of Bitcoin Core vs Bitcoin Cash doesn't belong here. Honestly, I don't see any important or crucial difference between the former and the latter. They are basically six of one and half a dozen of the other in virtually any respect which is of significance here. You can substitute one with the other, and nothing is going to change. Therefore, you can't possibly say that one is much better than the other if that was your point

First of, I'm not arguing with you, I pretty much enjoy reading you posts. It's more like I enjoy the conversation.

My point is, if someone invented a drink absolutely identical to Coca-Cola and named it Koka-Drink, I'd prefer to use the original Coca-Cola and I'd be saying that Coca-Cola is much better than Koka-Drink because the former was the revolution in its time and the latter was just a copy, and if we were supporting the things like the latter the progress would stop.
I think it is even better to argue if you are mature enough to understand where you or the other person is wrong and where your or the other person could be corrected.
I don’t see any shame in it if someone is corrects me at a time where I am wrong and I swear I appreciate those who criticize me for the sake of correcting me. I feel it much better to be on a right path due to someone’s guidance instead of being wrong.
Coming towards the replica adoption or copy is not all time a bad idea, there is a chance of from better to best everywhere.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 17, 2017, 12:28:18 PM
It's because gambling is like a drugs addict, it's really hard to forget and stop from gambling even we lose so much money and always lose all your money in the end but i keep coming back. I also don't know why it is so hard to stop on gambling, maybe because i don't have any activity in real life and only stay on my pc 24 hours.
Even I am not consider myself addicted to gambling, I keep on trying because it is kind of fun because achieving something which are unable to others must be giving very big satisfaction. I want to do something different that is the reason I want to crack profits from gambling. I know it is almost impossible but only by God's sake I may get chances to find some new methods to get profits from gambling.

I believe most of the gamblers here are having some reasons to continue gambling. Only if I wish, I will go for gambling and if I do not want then I will not gamble. That is the reason I call myself not addicted to gambling still I prefer gambling even it gives only losses most of the times.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: August 17, 2017, 08:20:13 AM
Analysis can be really helpful when you're gambling on sports. You can't gamble on teams you don't know their stats and conditions. I gamble in sport sites and analysis really help me.
that's the logic why you need to analyze since you are looking for some edge from the team which you think that stronger than its opponents, its really
help us out when playing sports gambling but with other casino games even we did a deep analysis chances to lose are still big its always luck who will
back up our chances of winning in any luck base games.
Even in luck-based the gambling, you may go for analysis because sometimes analysis on how to prevent losses will be helping better than analysis for making profits. I mean to say you can use analysis everywhere but only in some gambling types it will help to make profits and in other gambling types it will help to prevent losses.

But you must need right knowledge on how to make use of analysis for one particular gambling type. If you do not have that knowledge than you cannot go for analysis for all gambling types.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 17, 2017, 07:19:37 AM
Setting limits must be done in any games were doning, limiting our time and especially the spends. Set amount that we can eaily accept if ever we lose so when it happens it will not be that stressful. Limiting can lessen our lose whenever our games or bets didn't have a good shot.
Yes limiting ourselves in gambling is always dealing with both time and bankroll. If we are missing out any one of these two then the actual meaning of limiting gets diluted. Because when we are going for gambling without any time restrictions then people will go for loans to continue their gambling and the other case of no limit on bankroll obviously leads to huge losses and big frustrations.

Hence, limiting ourselves should be focused on both of these prime factors of gambling. But when a gambler is strictly following limiting at least one of these two then also he will get chances to protect himself.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 16, 2017, 10:00:45 PM
Limiting yourself is very important if you don’t want to be addicted on gambling. Limiting on how much you will spend to the gambling place the day you will play will make it better but hard to maintain specially if you become addicted already and lost the track of the limitation you set. Even it is for fun, self-discipline is important so that the limit you set will achieved.
Limiting yourself is the best way to make people stay out of addiction. But here majority of the users go out of their limitations, which is because of the random winning experienced in between the time. Better is to make a strong stand to limit the time and spending on bitcoin to be successful.
If the question is about setting up limits, then my question is setting up limits on what ? When you feel yourself becoming angry, resentful, or exhausted, pay attention to where you have not set a healthy boundary. In case of gambling, there must be a limit to amount you gamble. Other than that, I do not set boundaries on my efforts for right thing.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 16, 2017, 09:23:31 PM
Because of the change in the price of bitcoin of almost everyday it makes me think if I should save bitcoin, why and for how long?. But if I already earn bitcoin I will save it for future purposes, why? Because of the possibility that the value of bitcoin will get higher and higher and if I spend it now I think I regret it later and I don’t need so much money now so its much better to save it or invest it.
The prices will at least keep rising up for next month before the activation of Segwit. But I think it will keep on increasing longer than that and will touch 8k dollars for sure before any dip. Do not confuse yourself with such questions.

Bitcoin holders are holding up on BTC because they are aware of the rate at which its value is shooting up. Come up with some dream of yours and bitcoins will aid you in accomplishing in it. I suggest investing in bitcoins and believe in it.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on Bitcoin on: August 15, 2017, 09:36:14 PM
Bill Gates is one of the people whose words really matter in the world of technology. He admired Bitcoin. This is important for the future of bitcoins whether he himself still stick to currency. He has earned enough money in his life and when you are old, you like to stay with old methods. It is a psychological fact. May be, that is why he wants to use cash.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: August 15, 2017, 08:20:45 PM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.
I think retailers will accept bitcoin as soon as the consumers will push through their demands that retailers must operate bitcoin as a term of payment. In this situation, establishments will be surely forced to generate the usage of bitcoin because its their consumers needs and wants also to get along with the innovation of currency that is widely spread and used through out the whole wide world.
Indeed, the usage of Bitcoins for common purposes totally depends on the customers' love and passion for using Bitcoins as a mode of payments.

Only the Bitcoin holder can build up a pressure on the retailers for accepting Bitcoins as payments. Besides I believe that if the retailer that educated about the advantages of using Bitcoins, they will surely show interest in accepting Bitcoin as payment.
350  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: August 15, 2017, 06:46:42 PM
ME play poker for up my btc and all is good for me i increasing daily with 5% maybe more i like poker and i am semiprofessional player poker
Poker is a highly skilled way of gambling hence it is all capable of getting you good returns for your bankroll. But most other gambling types are not at all recommended to anyone as it may bring negative income when we are targeting big profits. Poker and sports betting are few gambling types which are capable of getting us good returns but I'm not recommending any of them here.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: August 12, 2017, 08:56:24 PM
No at all. There is no "guessing" in trading. There is of course a luck factor, as in anything, but it is very low. Most of the skills of a trader comes from its practice and its experience. There is schemes to learn and news to follow and you are a great trader.
Trading is an art, a proper subject. It is totally unfair and rude on our part to call trading guessing or to compare it with gambling. Luck does play role in trading but that is a minor one. Trading is done after learning it in a proper way. The experts have spent hours and even months for getting a command over trading but still are in phase of learning. So in short, trading needs hard work and patience.

353  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Escrow Guide on: August 10, 2017, 04:46:03 PM
Now if you have understood how to deal with someone on internet from above article referance ink, you might be thinking of trusted escrow members around this forum?
Bitcointalk has has a few reputed escrows you can choose one for your deals here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

Could someone comment/point towards trusted escrows on this forum?
Bitcoin itself can’t make use of Escrow, you just have to find a trusted person to act as the Escrow service, or whatever you may call. You send the amount to the guy acting as an Escrow, then he holds the funds, and the person you’re paying or doing business with will them forward the goods/package when they confirm you’ve funded escrow. Once you’ve got the package in good condition, you can tell the Escrow service to release/forward the funds to the receiving partner. But, who would agree to such a long process? The real fact is there is nothing like Escrow in Bitcoin. Unless exchangers like Xapo, Coinbaseetc decides to start offering such services to users.
354  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking To Start A Small Business With Bitcoin on: August 09, 2017, 06:38:26 PM
I as a beginner in bitcoin confused how to start a business in bitcoin ,, for now my level is still junior and i just follow the signature campaign ..
Is there any other way to start a business with bitcoin ??
I do not really understand, for friends who already understand, please share the info for me.

  thank you Wink
On the same boat with OP? Hmm…I even thought he meant like real business, like opening up a shop that accepts bitcoin. Anyway, there are lots of jobs you can do starting from graphic designing, web developing and a lot more.

You’ll have to start from somewhere, maybe freelance websites, and creating your own personal website where you can manage your business apart from the freelance.

After working with clients, there is nothing bad in letting them know about your website, but don’t do that on the freelance platform, cause some of the platforms can easily detect when you’re trying to post links, take a client out from them or something like that. So maybe take the client to Skype and discuss, letting them know your site. Now, later if they decide to start ordering from your website, you can then let them know that you’re also accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment to make it much easier for them.

Put much time and effort into your work and watch your business bloom. When you start getting lots of customers directly on your website (not freelance platform), you can then put something that says “Bitcoin Accepted” to let them know you’re accepting Bitcoin as a payment also. Good luck!
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: August 09, 2017, 12:22:10 PM
If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?

That depends on your risk taking capability as well as your patience. Also you need to clarify your investment term. If you are looking for a long term investment, then block a percentage of your investment for bitcoin. because has the potential to give you a very very high return in long term. So if you are willing to block your capital for longer term, then bitcoin must be purchase.

There are few altcoins as well which has a very good potential in long term. I have also started investing in altcoins recently and bought some ETH, because I feel ETH can be a competitor to the bitcoin just by looking at their market cap. There are options like Dash, Litecoin and many other, but choose wisely.
Bitcoin remains as the best suitable investment opportunity for both short-term and long-term investment as well suitable for small ti high risk investor then I do not find the any proper reason to go for altcoin investments. Because, the reward-risk ratio will be very very low for altcoin investors. Altcoins are undergoing heavy manipulations time to time which will be the biggest challenge all investors might need to face.

I believe bitcoin will remain as the best to investment opportunity for another decade also hence choosing it the right now must be one of the lifetime wise decision for sure.
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: August 09, 2017, 10:51:25 AM
It should be now or maybe you are too late for me i had become a trader at the worst time ever but finally after waiting for a month i am now able to get profits from the coins i had purchased you should have got in 2 weeks ago now it can take time to actually get profits
You will never be late to start trading because the market is growing and anytime you can start your journey, I am saying this as journey because it is a long term activity where you have to love what you are doing to dedicate your time on it. Trading is not easy as we think, we usually hear success stories and they tell us to trade but their journey towards that success is not easy, they succeed because they work hard and continue improving their skills.
As cryptocurrency market is still in its early days, we can expect much more growth in coming days. It means even the prices of bitcoins are trading near $3500 levels, we can expect another 10x times growth in near future itself.
357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: August 09, 2017, 08:49:39 AM
you can start minimum amount of investment. you can start trading and be wise when to buy and sell. The most important thing you understand digital currency and be more patient as well.
Usually small capital will require more patients as we need to put same level of researches still we can gain only small amount of profits.

But for both small and big capital we must need strong knowledge on how crypto currencies are working otherwise we cannot make big profits even we will be having very big capital to risk.

Yes big capital is better but since OP is a fresher in trading he can start with small capital like $10, too small but just to make it sure that he can't lose big. $10 to start up then when it profit he can use to add it to its capital then repeat the cycle. Big things came from small things so better to have patience when trading when you dont want to lose big.

Small amount could be different value for each person , $1,000 considered as a small amount for a big investor.
But yeaaa generally maybe to start with $100? As $10 to start trading really not worth , it is wasting time.
You should look at bigger picture , if you just want to practice then better to use a demo account or something similar like that.
Practice is important for understanding trading in a better way. I think the link you have mentioned is the best solution for searching answers related to crypto market and crypto trading. I don’t think so we can’t start trading with little amount. Though we can’t directly buy bitcoins but can earn them by joining signature campaigns, mining etc.
358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: August 09, 2017, 08:01:55 AM
or may be buy low sell high ?

Lot of noobs traders , don't control their emotions and make worst mistakes : buy at high price and sell at lowest

how to control this ? = put orders (buy/sell) and close the platform

To control emotion need hard work and patience, not easy to do that. Practice with little money on the real market is the best choice you have, repeatedly until you can control emotion. The second way to control emotion is disciplined with your strategy when buy, sell or hold never look back again and just do it. But if you only get lose every trading you do, please close your pc and say good bye. Good luck.
It does really need hardwork and patience and also experience for you to be successful on trading world and emotions would really be a great factor that would really affect you along the way and it cant really be avoided specially when we do see we lose our money. Buy low and sell high is just really a basic thing on trading but it would really be crucial to make any decision anytime.
Obviously it is impossible to get rid of emotions during trading.
All traders are at the end just human beings and do have emotions. These emotions come in action when the person is especially in stress. It is really hard to manage stress. I will suggest practicing yoga for strong control over emotions.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: To sell all?? on: August 03, 2017, 09:21:08 PM
Selling all at once is never an smart idea as you never know what will be the price of bitcoins in future so even if you are making good profits currently its always good to save some bitcoins for coming days as if price goes higher in future then you can sell your coins at higher profit margins.

People who sold their coins before the activation seems to regret their action now. Bitcoin's price is now in a good mood and hope it continue for the next few days.
Panic selling wont give you anything but a headache. Many listen to fuds as this lead them to panic sell. Their thoughts are everywhere like they cant think normal. I think you should know whether your coins will be for long term or in short term holding.

People who are new to bitcoins will surely get panic when they will see price crashing but those who have enough experience will prefer to hold it for a long term no matter what happens in short term as price ups and downs will always be a part of bitcoin economy.
Just wait as we can see even after the hard fork, bitcoin is performing well and its price is $2750 today. Many feared that bitcoin price may crash after hard fork and due to panic, they sold their bitcoins at cheaper price.Fluctuations in bitcoin price is a normal process and bitcoiners who are in the market from earlier would never bother about such price dips.
It was just speculations that the people become considering normal fluctuations in the price of bitcoin the hard fork for bitcoin in future. I think enemies of bitcoin cannot see bitcoin the king cryptocurrency in future, therefore, they start such kind of propaganda that bitcoin is going die and there is no any future of bitcoin.

However, finally bitcoin won the battle and going fast towards his destination. I suggest you not to sale out a single bitcoin. Save it for future.

This makes no sense for me: 'The main idea of ?? the market is to make it the largest site in the deep for advertising its products.' How can the idea of the market be an aim ? Perhaps that is your target. May we ask you what steps you have planned to make it the largest site in the deep web so that we can consider about the investment?
