This is a complete scam/sham.

I would not deal with philipma1957 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=64507 at all.

Right off the bat when I seen all the white bubble envelopes, something was wrong and off, 200 of em.

The unit is all flimsy and taped together and pieces in the box.

I contacted my bank immediately.

This is way off, the entire situation.

Last time I do business on bitcointalk.

5  Other / Politics & Society / Alex Pretti on: January 26, 2026, 02:56:21 PM
This is crazy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Alex_Pretti

Me being in a fed lockup facility for amount of totally 11 months. 6 months + 3.

Tried to get help from Law Enforcement for home invasions in my home for 3 years & still going on now, been kidnapped by law enforcement, abused and tortured in a fed holding facility. Torture methods where you can't get help.

Feeding us dog puked up meals, extreme 150F temp showers where they turn up and down water pressure, isolations for months, restrainments in cuffs at 8 hours at a time in restraint chairs under metal as tight cuffs can be, no day light, no exercise, lock downs constantly. No incoming mail/family photos. Corruption so extreme, that commissary is 5 times the price of its original price + a sales tax. Basically $20 worth of stuff = $130 + $20 Tax, then a tax fee to add money on https://www.inmatecanteen.com/ which is the ppl extorting inmates & their families, whether driving on a suspended license to get to work and sentenced to 6 months in a torture chamber.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_in_Illinois

Torture methods. That this govt uses. Like
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxi_to_the_Dark_Side

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_in_the_First_(film)

Now if Alex Pretti had not been shot, I guarantee Alex Pretti would have been tortured in the hands of what govt calls in-custody, for fighting for his state/person on the ground and Freedom.

If I had known about torture methods Jail Admins & CO's use to torture you, I'd rather have been shot as well.

I believe Alex Pretti dodged a bullet but took bullets that ended his life at the same time.

If Alex had lived, he would have faced torture the rest of his life.

Also this is irony at best. So construction workers reworked the landscape at the courthouse in my county and layed new sidewalks etc, the irony of this, these construction workers payed taxes for how ever many years to get payed for their work through their own taxes.

Cops/judges/public defenders/prosecutors/stenographers/county clerk workers all make money of the real hard working earning man "taxation", concrete layer, bridge maker, welder, mechanic, so on so forth.

You see the irony in this?

What ya think about, real worker payed taxes eventually comes back and the taxes pays themselves to do a job, basically working twice at one wage.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Taxes. on: January 25, 2026, 07:12:37 PM
Why should a Used item be taxed if sold?

If a used item gets sold 50 times, it gets taxed 50 times say like on ebay, amazon, 3rd party sites. Car dealerships, if a used car gets sold 3-4 times, that is 3-4 times taxed.

Taxation should be once @ new? Right?

Also this is irony at best. So construction workers reworked the landscape at the courthouse in my county and layed new sidewalks etc, the irony of this, these construction workers payed taxes for how ever many years to get payed for their work through their own taxes.

NVIDIA Reportedly Ends GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Production, RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB Next
NVIDIA has reportedly stopped production of its mid-range GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, according to ASUS, one of the largest PC manufacturers. ASUS shared exclusive information with Hardware Unboxed, revealing that NVIDIA has created a supply shortage for the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, effectively ending its production. As one of NVIDIA's largest AIB partners, ASUS has learned that the model is essentially in end-of-life status. The company noted the supply shortage and offered no further comments on availability or potential improvements in supply. Since retailers and manufacturers can't source enough stock of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPUs, the shortage has led to significant price increases for these models and suggests that the future availability of this GPU SKU might be nonexistent.

When GPU's were skyrocketed to prevent miners drainage of supply, I picked up my Nvidia RTX 3060TIFE for $550 "Pick up only" from best buy @ $550 in 2023, then recently dropped a byksi waterblock on it. Sexai, I am happy with it. Sucks that there seems to be getting harder to get PC components.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [XMRig]-signifigant improvemment in Hs with Memory timings/clocks/voltages on: January 25, 2026, 06:34:12 PM
A week ago from this thread date.

Monero-XMR.
So, I upgraded the FW of my Asus TUF B850 Gaming WIFI motherboard from 1079 to TUF-GAMING-B850-PLUS-WIFI-ASUS-1402, In the process of upgrading any MB FW, you must set defaults of the motherboard BIOS/UEFI settings as I've always known since 2002.

I have learned something very important about Monero mining with xmrig. This have sat in the back of my head to test but never had.

Memory Timings is very crucial to xmrig.

My RIG:
TUF-GAMING-B850-PLUS-WIFI-ASUS
AMD AM5 9950x
GSkill Trident Z5 f5-6800j3445g16gx2-tz5rk SK-Hynix A-Die
Nvidia Founders Edition RTX 3060-TIFE

 --------
XMRig/6.25.0 gcc/13.3.0 (built for Linux x86-64, 64 bit)
I loaded up my OS Linux Mint 22.3. All updated-n-upgraded, latest kernel, previously.

Default UEFI settings: Default motherboard CPU overclock settings the board defaults to, @ 5.11Ghz on load. Default RAM settings.
Ran xmrig, 20,000 Kh/s.
--------
Custom RAM timings/Voltages and clocked under specs of this set of ram @ 6200 & FCLK@ 2200 w/tight timings that I made sure is stable with Memtest software months ago installed on mint.

Default motherboard CPU overclock settings the board defaults to, @ 5.11Ghz w/ the custom ram settings explained above, I ran XMRig and got 26,000Kh/s.
--------
That is a 6000 Kh/s improvement by enabling my stable Ram timings/voltages/clock settings.
--------
Now if I PBO set the CPU overclock, I get 27,400Kh/s.

On overclock.net there is a PBO tuning guide that I do not understand how to do but if someone has the same/near same setup, you could PBO tweaking and get the best out of your AM5 CPU for xmrig.

So, Ram timings are crucial for xmrig.

It took about two weeks for stability settings with finding on the net with similar setups as mine memory timings to start off with, tweaking/tuning stability benchmarking tests to the timings I have discovered works stably.

well if you compare it to this one

https://altairtech.io/product/avalon-q/

the Avalon does

35th at 16 watts
80th at 18 watts
90th at 19 watts

cost  of 1749

Mine  does say 25th to 60th at 16.5 to 19.5 watts a th

so mine is about as efficient as the Avalon .

and at best it does 60/90=0.667

so .667x1749=1,166.583

which is too high a price.

If I recall correctly you are near the center of the country

I am NJ so shipping is not terrible

I would likely want 800 shipped.

 I would offer support.

Before profiting, it would take 224 days? 0.0089702272BTC = $800 atm, 90TH/s = 0.00003994 BTC a day. 0.0089702272BTC divided by 0.00003994 = 224 days. Thats given at the price right now, if BTC price jumps, making a profit in time is shorter.

Am I correct on this math?

the Avalon does 90

mine does 60

easy math for free power

1750 usd get 90 th. so 90 x 4 cents is 3.60 a day so 500 days is 1800. so maybe  500 days on the Avalon

800 usd get 60 x 4 cents = 2.40 a day in 333 days 799 dollars

so assuming 4 cents a th stays those are the times to break even with the Avalon and the Loki mod I made.

so either buy is viable if your power cost is free

the Avalon will pull 19x90=1,710 watts you will need a dedicated 20 amp 120 volt circuit.

my modded  model will pull 17 to 18 x 60 = 1020 to 1100 watts you could use a 15 amp 120 volt circuit and it would have a bit of head room for say a tv or a radio or a pc

they are pretty much a push on what to buy one could argue for either one.

but they only work if you are in a free power setup.

if you are not free power
buy something like this

https://altairtech.io/product/bitaxe-single-asic-miner/

https://altairtech.io/product/nerdqaxe/

they can be used for solo mining and will likely never make money but they uses very little power.

Thank you for that math. I factor "not on hope" in BTC price jumps "as in climbs-goes-down-climbs-again in that about of 333 days".

Are there any other coins can be mined on your T21? "Just out of curiosity".

Could you message me up on PM. Setup the payment/address to ship to.

I'd like to buy it, what pay service do you accept?

Qubes OS and Monero/xmrig mining?

I read and got a thought, that xmrig would be sandboxed and applying MSR is not accomplishable.

What are your thoughts?
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: All mining hardware providers BTC/Alt-coin list? on: January 24, 2026, 07:34:17 PM
Would you have a list for all your 110v miners for sale?

Board 1, 911w, 54TH/s is 0.00002426BTC a day. Maybe a miner that goes up to 1300w "110v is 1500w@15Amps" to produce more TH/s?

my 1 board t21 can do 60 th at 1000 watts or so.

that is the max it will do.

it is cold in NJ in my garage so it  is doing 61th at 987 watts on a 120volt circuit.
this it about as high as I can go.  it is a tiny bit warmer in the afternoon so it is pulling a little more watts

What price are you selling it at?

Is there a list for All mining hardware providers Example: Bitmain? A list for all coins.

duckduckgo and startpage bring up irrelevant crap.

no not really.

but there are some good sellers. my signature guy carries 5 or six different companies.

https://altairtech.io/shop/

he is USA based

so if you are in the USA he is a good choice to find BTC miners

Miiners (25)

Commercial Miners (16)
Avalon (3)
Bitmain (Cool
Sealminer (3)
Whatsminer (2)

Home Miners (9)
Avalon Home (3)
GekkoScience (1)
Open Design (3)
Loki Rigs       (2)

Any choice from above may work from you.

you will get the gear and you will get support

If you click on my signature I get a referral fee

If you click on the link above I do not get a referal fee.

We have talked a few times and I am pretty sure the Loki rigs are what you want.

I do have a modded and improved loki rig.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR9NQyfi2wk&pp=2AYy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elFBWMKimmM&pp=2AYC

the 1 board is a Loki mod uses 120 volt power
the 2 board uses 240 volt power

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If i kept on: January 23, 2026, 03:03:57 PM
I get 0.00237123 XMR a day. @33.400k H/s. I have solar panels. Take little bit over a year to gain 1XMR@ this slow rate.

Isn't solo Bitcoin mining useless now, considering the difficulty of the network? And for the XMR, if it takes a year to complete 1 XMR then XMR mining is also not profitable unless someone spends a lot of money buying new and latest equipment but then it will take a lot of time for them to even recover what they have spent on the equipment. So in my opinion, it's better if someone spends that money in buying cryptocurrencies simply instead of spending it on mining equipment and then waiting years to reach ROI.

Why did you stop mining back in 2011? Sorry if you have already mentioned it and I have missed it, but I wonder why you did that and then sold all your bitcoins. If you had kept only a few bitcoins from back then, you would be able to start a mining farm of your own with so much equipment and everything, and then maybe you could get good profits out of it since you mentioned that you have solar power for your mining operations which means you don't have to pay for electricity.

I would think solo btc mining is worthless as the difficulty is extremely hard.

It's a hobby as to mining. Something to do. Nearly free electric.

As previously stated, when I stopped mining BTC, difficulty was to hard because of asics so I switched to LTC then all together fell out, I had a fury and 6 gridseeds for LTC mining, two RPI's to run the one fury and 6 gridseeds, I should have kept the equipment.

2014, shitty photo.

A better photo.

Yea, I am grateful enough that I have little bit left over when I opened my old wallet, $81 worth BTC. but I would have shitted if 2 BTC was in it.

As for the solar panels, the problem with my home is that there is only one outlet that has ground in my home. And running a farm could be very dangerous, "fire hazard". If I had 220 ran, of course it would be grounded.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If i kept on: January 23, 2026, 01:36:19 PM
Use to mine em in 2011 on Radeon GPU's, before AMD bought radeon. Then I believe difficulty became to hard for my gpu's cuz asics, then I switched to mining litecoin, then stopped mining all together. Now I am mining Monero "XMR" with a 9950x@26,000k h/s with a rtx 3060tife@1,000k h/s and a z600 workstation@3.500k h/s, and trading XMR for BTC. I have few rigs I need to put together and need to pick up another 9950x CPU for a B850 new board I have sitting in a box to add to mining XMR.

I was able to access my old wallet which in my post history in my profile, I have btc in it from left over = some where @ $81, but just got a transaction for mining and trading XMR of equal at the time of $15 converted to BTC.

Have 0.00090451 BTC in my wallet now.

XMR around $500 atm or so or down a bit.

If BTC hits 1mil, I'll have $904.51, if a billion a BTC, then $904510.

Time will tell the next 40 years.

Just got this put back together last night, few hours. I5-10600k@5Ghz, watercooled. @5.4k H/s XMR.

This is my main, pumping 26k H/s XMR, Delidded and bare die seated watercooled 9950x, & watercooled 3060TIFE pumping 1k H/s

My z600 and the 10600k machine, z600 pumping 3.5k H/s, dual xeon.

Like I said, want to get another 9950x to add as I have a board for one.

What I'd love to get for XMR mining is AMD 9995x WX 96 core, 11.5 thousand USD for it, bet it would pump 500,000k H/s.

Probably save one XMR, and will trade the rest for BTC.

I get 0.00237123 XMR a day. @33.400k H/s. I have solar panels. Take little bit over a year to gain 1XMR@ this slow rate.
