401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PIO]PIONEERSHARES|MULTI PLATFORM BACKED COIN|PROFITSHARE|ICO FINISHED on: August 01, 2016, 12:06:23 PM
Ahh, that sucks. Oh well, will check in tomorrow. Thanks for the update Banzai.

Sory to hear that for the wrong chain. But this is Luc's problem. This isn't community problem and I am not agree with your decision. Any change in the ICO rueles affects negatively  on the entire platform.
You are developer, right but after the end of ICO this platform belongs to the comunity and it is very pity that you're trying to take this serious action with no even ask us.

With a response like that. Is this even a community?
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PX Hybrid POW/POS [ANN] on: August 01, 2016, 11:55:58 AM
I understand it is a solo Mining? Then where rpcport?

You can make up rpcport for most coins. I tried mining on the posted rpcport for PEX which was 9910. It connected but it didn't hit any blocks with pooler-cpuminer-2.3.3-win64.

Using newer versions of cpuminer resulted in this error:

[2016-08-01 07:54:20] JSON-RPC call failed: {
   "code": -8,
   "message": "Invalid mode"
}
[2016-08-01 07:54:20] getblocktemplate failed, falling back to getwork

I think 2.3.3 wasn't working. I was hashing on nothing, probably. Was going to try and hit some blocks before the pool opened, haha.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PAPAFRANCESCOCoin - Pure POW - Trust In Crypto - Listing on C-cex shortly on: July 31, 2016, 05:58:35 PM
Immediately after listing the hash spiked. Dev probably 51% attacked his own coin so nobody else could dump. lol

Now the price is freefalling.

406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | ICO - 20% Bonus ends in 3 days | New Blockchain Platform on: July 31, 2016, 05:38:29 PM
You're doing fine so far, already 76 BTC invested. Maybe just do what BRK devs did and ignore the FUD. It's not going to stop if you add escrow. It's not going to stop if you reveal everything about yourselves. I agree, 40k is about enough for 2 months of work, could easily burn through it in a week tbh.

The reality is that there are a lot of ignorant people that think they know how things "should" be done, but they forget about all of the times that people "got scammed" by ICOs using escrow and revealing their identities. Legal action is rarely successful. Escrow might make some people comfortable but consider a lot of those people weren't going to invest anyways. Escrow releases funds with minimal requirements so there's no real benefit to using it. Not by the definition of "scam" that passes around here, anyways.

If your coin enters the market at below "X" it's a scam. If your coin goes down in value it's a scam. If the dev needs to sleep or eat then it's a scam. If you don't update the thread every day with progress, it's a scam. No matter what, they find some reason to accuse you of scamming.

I'm not saying Opair is or isn't a scam. I'm saying that people will think it's a scam no matter what you do. You can't please everyone, ever.

But, if you really want to make that 700 BTC mark. Contact SebastianJu and figure it out. Escrow will make more people invest more. There is no real downfall to using it if you're running a legitimate project that plans to go the full course, even if you're not. A good scam can make it past escrow, lol. Look at the projects you yourself have compared this to. They used escrow. They raised the amount you want to raise. You have to see the correlation there. Also, don't be scared of threats from these fools. Most wouldn't leave their house to do something if you were tied up and left on their lawn. Ignore the FUD. Listen to investors. Work with us.

It's definitely strange that an accomplished developer has no commits or sources. Simply by Googling my username you can find me and I haven't worked for any major companies. I'm an amateur developer with less than 4 years of experience but I'm easily found. Why isn't a full stack dev with 20+ years? My partner is a full stack dev and has an extremely common name and can still be found easily.  That's how you get venture capital level funding.  Transparency.

If you don't raise 700+ BTC with this project at this price per coin then it will be entirely because of your lack of transparency and refusal to use escrow. Blaming FUD is sad.

Go look at WAVES/LISK/RISE threads and tell me how it prevented them. Look at the situation with ETH. How much did they raise again? Lots of FUD in their thread too. You only have yourself to blame, as the marketing coordinator.

In short, I am more affected by the actions of these fools users than the dev, since neither has completed the ICO, which we can not know if they will achieve fulfill everything they have promised."

+1. I agreed with everything you said but didn't want to make the post so long... it's already long enough. lol

See how he ignores you Perry? How can you trust such dev to actually not scam your money with all the attitude he shows.
completely close minded one. one day he'll realize people will always need people.

I didn't ask him any question, aside from obvious rhetorical questions. I didn't request a comment. I just stated my opinion. I didn't feel ignored at all, in fact, I just joined Slack and was welcomed immediately. He's the one who sent me the invite. There is no reason for he and I to chat here now. We can use Slack.

Transactions taking forever to confirm.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【ANN】BITPOKEMONGO 【RELEASED】【BPOK】【X11】【POW+AIRDROP】【NO-ICO】 on: July 31, 2016, 04:21:20 PM
The 17k transaction was to my address that had the 900MH rig on it for ~12 hours or so. That seems pretty accurate. Looks like I mixed up the addresses used for the two rigs.

The other rig with 600MH and it was on my second address. That address received payments in the first two manual payments. It did not receive a 3rd payment. That rig was on the pool for at least 8 hours after the last payment received which was transaction 1741608ffe9e03b3c1003ff23b4e023078ff1c2dc53b061cf3376d0340ca58b9-000

So, while I was mistaken on how I was underpaid, I was still underpaid. I apologize for mixing up my addresses.

412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Unmoderated thread on: July 31, 2016, 07:39:06 AM
The dev also didn't use escrow for the funds, this will be a very no-no sign for investors really. The fact that there are already scam coins existing before Opair so this is a warning to all.

Yeah, cause escrow has protected us so much in the past...
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Unmoderated thread on: July 31, 2016, 07:38:44 AM
Thanks for bringing this thread to my attention. Too bad i missed the 25% bonus.

LMAO, why too bad? It is 90% possible scam, so don't throw any money into that garbage bin.

Too bad because then I would have 5% more than I do.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | ICO - 20% Bonus ends in 3 days | New Blockchain Platform on: July 31, 2016, 06:50:22 AM
Cheap coins tend to do better on the market than "expensive" ones. I invested because the price per coin is quite low.

I didn't even read this thread. I invested because of the other thread where they're calling it a scam. lol. Doesn't bother me in the least. I thought Bitcoin was a scam when it was offered to me at less than a penny per coin. Do you think I regret that? Now I don't even care if it looks like a scam, better to dive in and hodl.

You're going to deal with this either way. No matter what. People are going to spread FUD. That's just part of the norm and is the main reason so many legitimate coins create their own forums and leave Bitcointalk. As long as you fulfill your promises nobody can say shit.

I always assume I am going to lose my money, that's why I never invest more than I can afford to lose.
it could go mcuh cheaper after the ico and could gets cheaper than ever after the dev run away with the funds. no one can even identify him, no escrows no nothing. the funds are all by himself so good luck.

True, but it's my money to take chances with if I want to.

You're a fool if you think knowing their identity makes a difference. Or did we forget about Paycoin already?

Escrow doesn't make a difference. Just because they use escrow doesn't mean they won't just run away after meeting requirements. Are you new around here or what?

guys...you need to either shut up and kiss already, or clearly state what the problem is.  Using endless amounts of metaphors and empty threats towards each other will get you both nowhere, while the rest of us are stuck having to read this mindless dribble.  Take it to PM at least, as none of this holds up as the slightest shred of evidence or proof.

I'm guessing the pool host is asleep and that's why he's not manually making payments..

I've received 2 payments x 2 because I am mining with 2 addresses.

Personally, I think I'm being a bit underpaid for the shares based on the link he shared earlier, but whatever. We'll see when all payments are done.

I probably wouldn't use his pool again, though.

Do you need me to explain it for you? You seem unable to understand the clearly stated problem.

The guy started using metaphors and I used them against him. The only "empty" threat made was him suggesting he could/would just keep the coins mined by miners. Something he may have done based on people posting they didn't get their coins. Including me. 2 payments to 1 address and 3 to another. There should have been a 3rd payment to both addresses, but there was only a 3rd payment to one address. His excuse is that people using 60 MH didn't get anything but we both know they would get something. Even if it was small. I wasn't one of those people anyways. I had a 600mh and a 900mh. The 900 expired around 2 - 3 hours before he closed the pool, the 600 is still going on a different pool. Both did well according to their stats. High rpi, enough shares, no downtime, etc. The 900 address was last paid 6 hours before the rig expired, and never received a final payment.

Sorry, you're "stuck having to read this mindless dribble". You could always skim over it, but, I can see how mindless dribble might distract you.

Also, with other people saying they didn't get paid. Why are you bitching about evidence? You need proof that a guy who publicly said this:
couldn't care less all good, the other subtle point is probably keep it all nice till your coins  are sent hey? general life lesson it seems.

didn't send our coins from his pool? You really need proof of that over proof of him paying us?

Seems legit.

He does it for a bounty then acts like he's doing us a favor. Then doesn't even pay out, lol.

He blames the dev, dev blames him. You come in here ignorantly assuming you know what's going on, lol.

I'll shut up when he pays out the coins that I and every single other miner mined.

not at all, i'm not like that,
just akin to the fast food industry adage;
you generally try not to offend whoever is making your food.

i dont think this is going to make it to an exchange regardless; also my hint was regarding the satoshis/coin bug and block explorer - part of why exchanges will most likely not support this coin.

i'm halting the pool shortly and will do last manual payout.

I was hoping not, but that's how I read it.

I don't know, you must be easily offended. I expressed some concern that I didn't think I was getting paid fully, and I said that we'd see when more payments came out. Many reasons why the payouts on my end would be less than I expect, but what's offensive about this?

The other thing I said was that I probably wouldn't use your pool again. What's so offensive about this?

Your response is suggesting that you would spit in my food for expressing an opinion, politely. Yet, I'm the offensive one? Incredible.

The only thing you could do is just decide to scam everyone (or just me, even) out of their coins. Stealing shitcoins from someone who isn't sure if they want to use your pool anymore, man, that would really teach me a lesson. I'm sure that would make your pool the most reputable pool around, lol. Your comment suggests you would consider this acceptable in response to someone expressing an opinion, but, "you're not like that", so I'll just leave it at that.

id say leaving my pc for a few hours to see four mildly negative messages about things beyond my control, just leaves a sour taste after years of the same ol' in cryptocurrency.

you're free to do whatever you like, its not offensive to state what you did; its just a bit of a dick thing to do. again, jumping to conclusions; its a life lesson, generally if someone is doing a small favour, you don't bag them out? others here are concerned about their payouts and coins, not yours. im sorry if you place yourself above others?

the last payout has been made, and its all been fair.

Nobody knows what is and isn't beyond your control...

If you've been around for years this shouldn't surprise you...

Hosting a pool isn't a favor. You get paid for it.

Others what? You're not even making sense there. Just because I'm the one talking to you? Man, you're salty.

You say payouts were done, fairly, but only one of my two mining addresses received a final payout.

You got offended by me stating my opinion on a public forum that is specifically developed for me to do exactly that. You said yourself what I said was not offensive, but you got offended anyways. I know I can do whatever I want. Anyone who reads this conversation is going to come to the same conclusion. Use a different pool.

Let's believe that you guys are not scammer. Then why your behavior changed after the ICO?

Before ICO Dev's were answering everyone's question and giving update about everything. After the ICO seems like you guys don't care about people who bought your coin.No response at slack or bitcointalk.Last poker update was 24th July about week ago.

I believe  you guys ain't scammer then why your behavior changed after ICO? And people who played poker on your site last 2 months they just want to know...did they wasted their time? seems like  Undecided

We all got on planes and met in person for organizational meetings. They ended today. This is a business operation. It needs to be run like a business. The behavior changed because we were focusing on the sale, now we are focusing on development. We are surprised by the selling as well.

It has only been about 5 days since the sale closed. For us that has been a day of travel, 4 days of meetings. Tomorrow travel.

After this we will need to finalize a deal on office space, hire support staff, and, for the gaming company, begin to bring gaming verticals online. One hire will hopefully be a community manager to keep the community informed.

Business are not built overnight. We have a roadmap to develop. Please be patient and refer to the roadmap for the schedule. Posting here takes time away from other development.

Glad to hear, random but any idea when the Spreadsheet will be updated?   Thanks!

Probably after the jet lag.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] [POKE] PokčChain - Pokčmon trading and blockchain as a service! Join Today on: July 31, 2016, 03:05:56 AM
Hello,

For the kind information of anyone looking to touch this coin even remotely - this is a scam.

First and foremost - Pokemon is a brand that has been developed over 20 years. This coin will have a DMCA notice slapped on it even before it takes off.
Secondly, Pokemon Go already has an inbuilt trade system in the works. Which means this coin, defacto has no functionality.
Thirdly, this coin has .. zero utility as it relies on a private, centralized service with no clear API.

Anyone investing into this has the IQ of a rock.
Feel free to PM me with reasons as to why this project can take off.

@OP - stop scamming people and find something reasonable to do.

I'm investing in this. I don't even care if it's a scam. It's a scam i will profit off of if it is.
