Perhaps the affected pool owners could post a bounty for the botnet owner's identity...

...crazy content, propositions, and opinions you espouse.

Nice try, Atlas.

Atom-

Glad to see you're not just jumping on the "it's anti-gov, so it must be awesome!" bandwagon.  That was my only concern.

Keep it up.  I don't care if it takes longer to produce an episode, produce a good episode.

Ordered.  Very sweet.

+1 for a pic of the obverse.

Re: Greece:

Perhaps I'm not understanding you, Atom, but it sounds like you're under the impression the folk rioting are doing so...  as some sort of anti-government movement?

I would submit that it looks to me like the folks in the street are not into stable currency and minarchy, but instead are the recipients of entitlements losing their shit over a government that can no longer hand it out.

A proper reading of Trendy the BitSnail indicates that he's holding prices at around $17 (as marked by the centre of his deflationary-spiral shell)
but if you follow a line from his eye stalks just above his shell - he has a slightly longer view of about $34.

...so escargot to your broker and BUY BUY BUY!

TRENDY DEMANDS VOLUME.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Show on OnlyOneTV.com on: July 01, 2011, 02:14:27 PM
The very first things I said at the very opening of the show.... were all introducing Patrick Timpone to the audience.   I pretty much told the audience everything I know about him (aside from his personal life Smiley )...   Did you miss that part?

I'd had my coffee -- I caught it.

That book must be good!  $60 or $40 in used paperback form!

The "This American Life" store has it at a much better price - they appear to be shuttered for renovations ATM.

I'm not sure I'd have time to read a massive book like that...  but I will try to get my hands on a copy.

I noticed that it's written by NPR reporters.

I just looked at my copy -- it's 30 pages.  Smiley

The long and the short of it is this: that you're telling a story.  That the story is the person and what they're doing or what is happening to them.

Just listened to #18 -- talking over product differentiation w/ Jeremy is an example of what I'm talking about.  Thumbs up!

Bruce - PLEASE let the guests talk!
Is there one specific episode you have in mind... that I didn't let the guest speak enough?

I was just listening to #16 this morning -- at the half way mark I thought: I don't know anything about this guest!

If it's an interview, I would think the majority of what you say should be questions of the guest.

Get yourself a copy of this - it really is superb:

Kudos on taking this as kindly input -- you have my respect for that.

OT: If no one else has suggested it, you need to get Nefario on.

Bruce - PLEASE let the guests talk!

You're the host, you get to be on the show every day.

I know this isn't an ego thing for you and that you're just - enthusiastic, otherwise I'd be more circumspect.  Wink

You might secure a copy of "Radio: An illustrated guide"

Keep up the great work!
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We are all a bunch of ragtag Apaches with a bunch of fucking tipis!" on: June 30, 2011, 02:37:55 PM
The Apaches lost.  Someone should tell him.  Whatever point he is trying to make is totally lost in the fact that he thinks the Apaches defeated the Spanish.

To think that's not what the "A" in "USA" stands for -- I tell you, all these years...

If there is one animal worthy of becoming a bitcoin mascot, it is the alpaca.

Speaking as and for all Libertarians, I would just like to say that recently we have started wearing deodorant around non-Libertarians, and that any you've met that haven't - please have them check their email.
