Hello,

I stopped mining this one a few weeks ago as I had a problem with the most popular mining pool.

Although I was hashing, I wasn't generating any coins. Can anyone explain why this would happen?

PoW phase has ended already, only way to get coins is buying or staking.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is Hashra Trustable with there new HASHRA ASTRO? on: January 26, 2015, 05:48:59 AM
If it is too good, most likely in the asic world, it is. wait for real products with real numbers
2264  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [GROUP BUY][EU] Kialara Physical Bitcoin 2014/2015 [ROUND 2] on: January 25, 2015, 03:44:26 AM
Ezeminer, I have added you! Just one more coin left till we get free shipment. Grin

Ezeminer, you live America? Why not buy from Max directly? This is an EU group buy so that we can get one without having to buy at least 5.

Thanks. Ill look into it. I would like to retract my buy offer, unless you guys need one more
2265  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: FREE electrical power available - but no knowledge of bitcoins on: January 24, 2015, 07:13:37 AM
I am in the EXACT scenario are YOURSELF.

I have free electricity but I don't want to RISK any money buying miners that will NEVER get an ROI.

Your best option is to buy USED miners from the classifieds or from this forum from people who can no longer afford to run them.

You are pretty much looking at the old KNC Miners, S1, etc. These miners are VERY bad on efficiency but for yourself it doesn't matter. And they are DIRT cheap.

If you buy something new, it costs more and you are at risk of losing money. Looking at the chart, looks like BTC might go to $150 sometime this month or next.

If BTC drops to $150 again expect tons of buyers.... and if you have btc hold out so that you aren't a contributing factor to the market drops
2266  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [GROUP BUY][EU] Kialara Physical Bitcoin 2014/2015 [ROUND 2] on: January 23, 2015, 04:26:34 PM
So it is roughly .5BTC at the time of this post? I may be interested
If I had to predict, I would say 0.55BTC at the moment. No guarantees though, the final price calculations will be done once the group buy closes for new participants.
I would be interested in buying one if shipping can be made to the usa, i could cover extra depending on the price outlook.

ezeminer: USA: 1 Kialara 2015

2270  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Trading Parallel Kingdom Gold for BTC on: January 18, 2015, 08:42:04 AM
Simple as that from the Parallel Kingdom game for iOS and Android.
20m gold for $100BTC
Buying food at $115 for 17.5k is roughly 8.7m in game.
If interested post here or offer counter offers.

I'm interested to see if anyone takes this offer. I have tons of game currency in about 47 MMOs I'd like to get rid of. Tongue

Yea, I should also trade steam items but those are pretty cool

I guess i'll take the bait. Doesn't seem like this coin will last too long....
Edit: Looks like about 2 months for half the coins, then another two months for 6m in circulation.
2275  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Questions about bitcoin mining foundations. on: January 15, 2015, 07:33:09 PM
1.Unless you have a couple million you must pool mine. 5-10PH at least
2.Most cost effective is an s5 at like .5w/gh or sp20 underclocked to about .5w/gh
3.Pools are constantly changing, so far I just stay with slush pool. any pool at like 10PH should suit you well.

4. Because the global markets affect bitcoin as well as the basic supply and demand. Basic level economics doesn't cut it for bitcoin. Also whales that control massive amounts can manipulate if they wanted.
5. Not yet. There may be cryptos that will eventually grow to the power of bitcoin but not likely, unless massive support from developers accumulating into hundreds of millions of dollars comes around.
6. Coinbase, Bitfinex, Cryptsy, BTC-e, and many others that may be linked.

Also if you read around the forums you will find more information about bitcoin, speculation and the miners you want to acquire. Never pre-order unless it is from bitmain or spondoolies tech. Even then wait for real numbers and stuff.
2276  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: So miners, are you selling your mined btc as soon as you get them? on: January 15, 2015, 07:26:41 PM
I use money from my job to buy the electricity for my miners. So it is like investing, but instead buying out my coins so that I don't drop them into the market.

You might even be able to fool the wife into thinking its a heater... unless she wonders why it needs an Ethernet connection.  Wink

It is a futuristic Heater that can be controlled via ethernet... duh
2280  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: looking for any mining equipment people want to give away on: January 10, 2015, 06:17:51 AM
LMAO at the thread hijacking.

This is a thread to donate hardware to user pandemic

Why don't you beggars start YOUR OWN threads??  Roll Eyes

I think we are all here because you wouldn't want 20 topics all taking up the hardware section asking for free hardware? Cheesy I'll also take USB miners... Just throwing that in there Tongue
