Now with smilies Shocked

Haha yes...a little bit of change

Also updated my Avatar...animated it a bit more with some words.

It works in some browsers but not others..you should be able so see the hand moving and the words changing.  Cheesy

Three more slots before we roll Cheesy

As of your avatar. I think you should adjust the wording.
Now it looks like you're actually sodling your BTC and not hodling them. I don't think that's what you mean.

e.g.
1st part: hodling
2nd: not sodling
3rd: bitcoin

There are things like this but I don't know how true that information/seller actually is and it doesn't give noise consumption or anything but  I bet it's a lot!

Beware, that's a scam shop.

Disabled for everyone. I think reason was some extra load on server. Try to search in Meta section for more info.
found e.g. this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2638853.0

Let me show you how I did that (took me 10 secs).

225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you need 1 merit (only demoted newbie). If you good reporter than read it. on: September 21, 2018, 11:17:36 AM
Great initiative, but I don't think that you will find Newbie who made over 300 reports. Usually, they came here for spamming, not to report spam. And these users who making reports, I don't think that they are struggling to get Merit.

Agree, great initiative. Though 300 is quite a lot.
I just hope this won't attract some merit mob (creating bunch of brand new users making wrong topics just to create opportunity to report them).

Main problem I see: This is not a get merit quick scheme (which is what most users are looking for at the moment). So i don't think much users going to apply here.
But I'm pretty sure if they would give same efforts and time they are spending now in bounties to scan through forum and start reporting it would not take that much time.
There is lot of  of reportable topics/posts (and new ones appear every few second).

So NEWBIES, go for it. Merit your merit.

That's quite interesting reading there.

I'm not a sports bettor at all but recently signed up with jetwin and received some free credit which can be used only for live events so I'm going to read through your guide and try to apply the findings (have nothing to lose so why not).

Thanks for sharing.

230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should I do? All efforts are lost. on: September 20, 2018, 03:59:55 AM
Efforts? Really? Lol. You've made over 300 posts and still haven't earned any merit. I checked your posts and I only can see bounty reports and generic one liners in spam megathreads. This is what you're calling efforts? It seems that you're doing something wrong.
And it's just one Merit, is is so difficult to get it? You're saying that you lost motivation to strive. Really? Is it so difficult to make some quality posts? But if you came here only for money and this new requirement is to high for you, then we don't need members like you.

thank you for giving me a sincere advice! But I do not understand where the source of merit comes from? please show me a way! thank you !

Have you ever visited different section than this one and altcoins? How about META. Ever been there?
About merit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

Anybody can give you merit (if he has sMerit). But problem is you need to deserve it. This is where you are going to struggle.

Another problem is it also involves personal opinion.
e.g. you as bounty hunter will never receive single merit from me. Not even if you write some breath taking super long post full of helpful info.
Why?
Because I suspect the only motivation is to earn that single merit so you can continue with your bounties and once you receive it you'll most probably going to continue the old way.

I don't want to completely discourage you. This is my personal opinion and others may see it different ... so go and try it.
231  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies can't make posts? on: September 19, 2018, 11:29:58 AM
In past newbies were restricted to Beginners & Help section only. Maybe this rule was resurrected.
Who knows? Only The ymos.

233  Economy / Gambling / Re: HOW DO I KNOW THE CASINO'S SERVER SEED IS FAIR? on: September 19, 2018, 02:23:06 AM
Hi guys, I know all provably fair casinos (for dice games anyway) create the roll result by combining their server seed + the client seed but how can you know if the seed generated by the casino server is truly fair? What if you were betting on rolls 10> but they altered their seed so it has a bigger chance of generating a <10 number? Thanks.

When user is able to put his own seed it actualy does not matter whether server seed is fair (pure random)
The important thing is the server seed must have been generated (and has not changed) before you provide your seed and make the roll.

So during verification process you need to check:
- Server seed used to generate roll result was given before the roll and has not changed: most probably you were provided with hash of the seed (usually its a daily seed which is published next day)
- Your seed was used to generate the roll output
- Any other input used to generate the roll output was not chosen (generated by) server. Usually it's nonce (which can be e.g. number how many roll you made that day etc.)

What should I do for those who have changed their rankings on the BTT for a newbie? What should I do to become a Jr member like before? I am very sad, There is feeling lost motivation to strive.
Change your approach !!!

This is mainly BTC forum ... all your posts are in altcoin bounties crap. How can this contribute others?
Blindly retweeting things (and I think you don't even care what you're promoting ) just to get some reward? C'mon, that's not a contribution.

It's not that hard to get 1 merit but you would have to do something for others. Or do you actually expect others to merit you so you can continue your selfish approach?

Not able to change your approach? Then you should better leave.
On the other hand there's a chance some fellow bounty hunter will merit you but I doubt that (such people are here to get bounty, not to help you).

Read this: Demoted newbie ! Don't be upset, see guidelines to get 1 merit and rank up

236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Use of Mining Rig Rentals on: September 18, 2018, 11:51:20 PM
IMO second option. Almost all coins are now at the edge of profitability/lossability. Especially when you are mining with pools.

The point is if the miner would be profitable then it's owner wouldn't lease it (most probably ) or would lease it at higher price. Your profit then depends on whether you'll find a better (more profitable) coin to mine.

238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to convert BTC into real money? on: September 18, 2018, 04:25:42 AM
How? Just sell them   Wink  ... but you need to find a buyer.
Try some exchanges (I can't tell you which works in your area ... you'd better ask in Viet local section or some other local forum.)
Also you can try localbitcoins.com (trade via bank transfer or find a buyer nearby and trade cash ) and/or if you're in larger city you can try to locate bitcoin ATM.

239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a bitcoin wallet and I can't use it because I always get this error. Can on: September 18, 2018, 04:02:59 AM
The error is quite self explanatory. "Missing inputs" means the address (wallet) has no funds (inputs) to create the output.
(fust FYI: inputs are coins you received, output are coins you are sending).
Seems like your wallet is empty (has no inputs at all) or the output is larger than sum of all wallet inputs (you are trying to send more than you have).

How to fix? The quick answer could be: send in some BTC.
For better answer you would have to provide more details.
240  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are the bitcoin faucets no longer worth it? on: September 17, 2018, 11:41:25 PM
The thing is faucets were not designed to make some reasonable income for users. The orginal purpose Gavin had in mind (he's the one who made the first faucet) was IMO to spread the word and coins among users who are not mining. Some sort of advertising BTC.

Later it became very attractive for webmasters to get huge traffic. Simply buying an audience ... I've been there as well but few hacks and fact the major advertising companies cease accepting such traffic forced me to quit.

For me using faucets was a great start (I've been riding them a lot) but they never worth it at the time of using.
The positive comes when coin price skyrockets and you kept your free claimed coins ... and this logic still applies today.

So if you believe BTC (or some other coin) will increase in value then you can say it's worth it.
