Well no joy on the 32 bit front. the program ran once with an empty dabaase dir but when restarrting it refuses to run and stops without an error message.
Edit: After removing the tor and onion dirs in the .PayCon dir the program starts so it has something to do with the saved information about tor.
There was a no-tor branch in the crestington repo which was for 32 bit and worked along side the tor Hello crest! Like speaking about yourself in the third person? lol Your repo might have that branch but it will not work along side the new code unless I add in the new changes made as the new wallet is a mandatory update which will Hardfork at block 800k. I will look into it. @Wdl1908 I built the 32bit wallet and I'm also getting the exact same issue. Works on first launch then the errors unless I delete onion and TOR folders I will continue to try my best to work the issue you out though. Let me know if you find a fix as well. Thanks The new code base will not have TOR and we will not have to worry about these issues any more. |

These things are very sadly Th82, but this topic is about PayCon. I think most of us don't care CV2, XDE2, FLY or any other. We are working on CON, buy and hold it and try to bring back to life:) Anyway, maybe...just maybe we found a solution for the high orphan rate.  Simon, I care about some of the coins listed above but...I totally agree that this is the CON thread and the place I come for CON news and discussions. I visit other threads for information on other coins. There was the Question if Crestington is out of Crypto. And I have answered. CON (and CV2) was a "Crestington" Coin. So the additional Info is relevant and there is also INFO about CON. So what's the matter? It shows the behaviour of the former Crestington "DUMP" Dev in the OP. By the Way, I have also CON in my portfolio. When the new Wallet will be released? Regards Tom The small updated wallet will be released as soon as I can work out the issue of getting the Linux wallets to build statically. Windows wallets are building fine; however, statically built linux wallet is being a pain. Ok cool Stuff. What kind of issue? Are you changing paramenters of the Coin in the small update? Tom I was trying to build the Linux wallets statically but at this point I think I'll just release them and let the user download the deps. No, not in this update that'll come in major update in the future. post a code snippet of the errors you are getting whilst compiling maybe me or someone else can resolve the issue If I build the wallet dynamically there are no errors. When doing qmake RELEASE=1 to build static I get the following error. /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lqrencode
colelct2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [PayCon-qt] Error 1 When I run ld -libqrencode —verbose the .so files are found but not the .a files hence not being able to build statically. |
