1  Economy / Gambling / Re: "richest gambling sites"??? on: December 31, 2015, 08:18:25 AM
IMHO primedice is not the richest gambling site, they only have ONE game yea DICE even we all know there are many high rollers, betcoin.AG are the richest one. betcoin.AG offers plenty gambling options, start from sportsbook, casino, poker room and many more! and no doubt there are high stakes gambler too in each games, can you imagine how much their profit? and compare to primedice?

Yeah, but if one site has many games but 100 people play on their website, and another one only has one game but 1000 people play on their website, which one will make more money? While it's true Primedice has only one game, but they have a really large userbase and have been around for a long time. Betcoin.ag definitely makes a lot of money, but I don't think they make as much as Primedice.
Primedice without factoring in the hacks. Betcoin.ag does seem to have quite some bankroll but Primedice have suffered numerous hacks which took quite some hit to the bankroll. In terms of money making, Primedice does it the best.

2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice roll -house edge. on: December 31, 2015, 08:15:53 AM
With the house edge, you are expected to lose House edge% in the long run. Anything less or more than that is varience and will get even out in the long run. That is due to the chances being lower, in 2X with 1% house edge, you need to get below 49.50 or 50.50 assuming lowest possible and highest possible is 0 and 100 respectively.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we beat a casino by python script ? on: December 29, 2015, 01:46:09 PM
The game that is demostrated can be botted since it is a client side game. The script basically automates the actions and thus cheats the game. For Bitcoin gambling, requests are sent to the server and process there. It is impossible for anyone to cheat the casino.
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there any difference between bot and manual betting.? on: December 29, 2015, 01:44:29 PM
It depends. Most of the times, request are sent from your browser to the server, same way as manual betting. AFAIK, the server is unable to distinguish between bot and non bot bets. Verification should still be made however. It is harder for bets in automated betting to be verified due to the speed.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: "richest gambling sites"??? on: December 27, 2015, 02:33:44 PM
I think is primedice and betcoin.tm. I guess.
Primedice have a great giveaway.
Betcoin.tm have big promo and a lot bonus
And both this site have a alot of member.

I highly doubt  that betcoin.tm can be measured or compared with primedice since they were to the most people totally unknown few weeks before.
Now they started a ton of promotion, but that still doesnt put them to the richest spot, that only means they want to expand.

I do not compare betcoin.tm with primedice. I just think, betcoin.tm and primedice this is richest site gambling. I guess.
Because there have a big promo and bonuses. Its my personal opinion.
Because they will not publish the income/money.

Betcoin.tm is fairly a new gambling website and hence it cannot be termed as rich so soon as they haven't disclosed their bank roll. Even I feel Primedice is the richest one but a better word would be a "stable" gambling website as every gambling website has their own wins and losses and none can actually be called a RICH website.
Betcoin.tm has existed for a fair amount of time. I believe they decided to do PR advertising more seriously here with signature campaigns and announcement threads.
dont really no much about dice but when it comes to sports gambling sites cloudbet should be in contention for most BTCBTC because they dont limit your stakes plus bitcasino.io seems profitable aswel and of-course the popular directbet which has done alot of marketing to get pundits glued
Cloudbet have a limit on sportsbetting.
Based on here: https://www.cloudbet.com/en/frequently_asked_questions
What is the maximum bet?
Maximum bets vary based on a number of factors. Generally, the maximum bet amount will increase as an event grows nearer and liquidity on that event increases. If you attempt to place a bet for greater than the maximum allowed your bet will be automatically reduced to the maximum allowable stake.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: December 26, 2015, 09:56:43 AM
I keep a significant portion on gambling sites and the others in cold storage. Gambling sites are a great way of generating almost guaranteed profits due to the house edge. However, not all are trusted. I invest funds mostly in moneypot and the others in satoshidice.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: How can casinos profit from investments? on: December 20, 2015, 07:20:32 AM
For Bitcoin casinos, the system will automatically take a portion of the earnings for themselves during a specified time or when the user decides to divest.

For casinos that have POS coins, they can choose to also charge the user for their staked coins. Justdice does this.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using Tor while gambling.. any problems? on: December 11, 2015, 01:27:40 AM
Sometimes im bored at my job and I want to play a quick round of poker, slots or dice. Is there any problem in setting an account with Tor and sending your BTC there and playing?

A problem may be that a tor exit node takes your bitcoin with a scam site that looks like the gambling site.
That's what HTTPS certificates are for. When browsing using Tor, always ensure that there is HTTPS or the exit node will be able to see all the data.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Encouraging people to adopt Bitcoin. on: December 06, 2015, 01:58:16 PM
For merchant, it is easy. Only a tablet is required for using the POS- Bitpay, Coinbase etc. Bitpay allows merchants to convert to fiat in a instance, no risk for volatility to affect the earnings. However, it isn't easy to do and there is not a huge adoption rate ATM. The general public are skeptical of Bitcoin and would avoid using it since it is too volatile. Merchants would be more reluctant to accept it after Bitpay started to charge.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will I recieve my bitcoin? on: December 01, 2015, 09:53:10 AM
If you want to receive an instant as such should not use bitcoin core wallet, disposable wallet others that do not require to download blockchain in advance, there is some wallet for example, electrum and multibit
They do download the block headers but not the entire blockchain. They take a few minutes to synchronise and take up much lesser space. For daily users, this is recommended.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed Transaction on: November 30, 2015, 04:19:26 PM
Sometimes the network is crowd and you need to pay higher than recommended fees to get the transactions confirmed otherwise it will take long time! You could check here cointape.com to calculate the fees.
The network was not congested at all when this happened. The advantage of this attack is that little fee is required to disrupt the networks since the size isn't big. The blocks at that time weren't filled up at all in terms of size but were filled up with the number of sigops. Eg. This transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/9e451c7d53ca42a15b4e55ca67e7defc4d941959255ca6b960f010e623949b51. It doesn't require a high cost if network isn't paying high fees.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-exchange on: November 30, 2015, 08:23:38 AM
In a Bitcoin exchange, I would look for it's fees, features, solvency and customer support. In a Bitcoin exchange, solvency is most important. Mt Gox was insolvent for many months before it was public and there were still extremely huge volumes. This in unacceptable and an audit should be done frequently as a proof of solvency by a third party auditor like what Kraken did. Most exchange have to comply with the local KYC polcies and there may be delay. With a good customer support, the documents can be passed quite soon enough and would not turn off bitcoiners. It isn't acceptable to wait up to a week just for the verifications.
15  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-29] Cold Storage – The Safest Way To Vault Your Bitcoin on: November 29, 2015, 11:40:05 AM
Multi signature is not a option to protect your Bitcoins if they are stored close to each other or signed on the same computer. A hacker can easily get both/all of the keys and hack your Bitcoin address. Paper wallet does provide more than adequate security if the generating device is virus free. They claimed that many were against the use of paper wallet but users can make several backup with BIP38 encryption on all of them. It is as secure as a Ledger nano if we were to compare that aspect.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verifying Amounts on: November 29, 2015, 07:32:04 AM
Multi address wallets like Electrum would make this a hassle and probably actually push away potential buyers as if I remember correctly, each wallet can have as many as 3000 addresses, and if there are amounts all over in the wallet, I dont think someone will want to provide 30+ addresses to verify their funds..
Transfer all your Bitcoins into one wallet and use it. I doubt anyone would have lots of change even with HD wallets, change are also used when sending transactions. If there is indeed lots of different change address, transfer them into a single address and sign from there. It isn't hard to do.

This would only work if the user's wallet service/software allow users to sign message. Some shared wallets do not but some do, like coinbase.com. In that case, you need to ask the person to transfer them into an address which a signed message can be generated from.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Purchasing btc with gift cards on: November 29, 2015, 03:32:41 AM
There are people accepting gift cards at the currency exchange section. But be aware that the resell price is very low and hence you can only sell for around 80% of the original price provided that you bought it with cash and have the receipt (for most cases). Otherwise, localbitcoins have several people trading gift cards for Bitcoin but same condition applies.
18  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.04btc Loan on: November 29, 2015, 03:30:03 AM
I removed my feedback in your trust rating since u repaid this loan to the lender .
I never thought u would repay the loan after seeing your way of talking and way of asking the loan..
BTW never mind and good luck ))
I felt that I sounded rather pissed in some of my PM to you, sorry for that. My account is still too precious to be ruined, no reason for me to even default. Thank you for removing, I'll remove my neutral feedback too. Once again, my apologies.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Locked out of Bitcoin Wallet on: November 29, 2015, 03:25:55 AM
Is there anyway to get back the bitcoins in a locked wallet if I have the file? Someone please help!

What you mean locked, encrypted? Is it a core wallet? (wallet.dat)?

Well in that case, im afraid you are out of luck. The only way to access it, you would need to know the password, there's no other way around it. Even if the passworld was weak, I don't think bruteforcing is a viable option.
There are tools which can help users to bruteforce the password. It would only help if user have at least some idea of the password or always use a well known phrase as the password. The tool is here: https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover
