381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets safe? on: June 16, 2019, 03:26:28 PM
I personally think it is safe as an offline wallet offers the highest level of security for storing crypto is it involves storing the funds in a secured place that is not connected to any network. This type of wallet can also offer good protection against computer vulnerabilities. The hardware wallets are the best type of offline wallet that offers very high security and ease of use. Also, as these wallets allow backup, you can easily recover your funds if you lose this device.

One such example of a hardware wallet is Trezor. It operates as secure cold storage. You can easily transfer bitcoins to the device using the Trezor interface, which is accessible from macOS, Linux, Windows, and Android. Its interface is quite easy to use that lists your coins and recent transactions.

Trezor uses a 12 to 24-word seed for protection and recovery and a user-defined PIN. You can also add an encrypted passphrase to your wallet for an added layer of security.

what say u?

Although im not using hard wallet to store my coins, many peoples recommend to using it because the security.
When you have big amount of coins, you should using safer wallet like hard wallet to keep your coins safe.
Trezor and ledger nano are the most popular hard wallet i guess.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: June 16, 2019, 03:12:59 PM
Nowadays many ICOs offer free coins, but we have two problems with this free coins, the first one the value of this coins will drop after start trading due to a lot have free coins willing to sell it, and the second they ask for your ID (KYC), and i think it is very risky to send your IDs to any one.

Please vote to help others

If you want to get coins with less efforts, then airdrop should be the best option for you.
Just participate in some airdrop campaigns that doesn't ask your identity.
Providing your personal data for only small reward is not a worth thing to do.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campain with ETH or BTC payment ? on: June 16, 2019, 02:59:19 PM
hello guys, i am a bounty hunter and i am here want to ask with you all.
are you tired waiting distribution, get locked token, blame when price dump and other bounty hunters problem.
so why bounty campain not have a payment with ETH or BTC for rewards if they afraid if bounty hunter will dump their token ?

how about you guys ?

Yeah, it is really frustrating when you done your work but no payment for you.
This is what makes me think 10x before joining in bounty, there will be many factors to take into consideration.
All campaign in bounties section are paid in tokens, but in other section there are some signature campaign that pay in BTC.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: June 15, 2019, 12:37:16 PM
Although the possibility is not zero, at least the chance to turned into a scam IEO is smaller than ICO.
Do you think top exchange like Binance will launch scam IEO ? If they want to ruin their reputation, yes.
We just need to investing on trusted and reliable exchanges IEO and avoid new exchange IEO to be safer.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will new alts projects take over the lead? on: June 15, 2019, 12:27:33 PM

All alts price is down, but the question is !
will all of this new projects take the lead in the next bull run and leave behind good alts that have been in the market for several years ( for example STRAT , SYS , XEM  etc..  ).

It will be difficult for a new projects to take a lead and beat existing projects in crypto.
Unless they have trusted team members, huge marketing advertising to create awareness,
they won't attract any investors to investing in their project.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties is not a reliable source of income on: June 14, 2019, 07:56:50 AM
It is a good source of income, but not a stable source of income from my opinion.
Just think bounty as an additional incomes, that you should not to rely on it.
Trading some coins in exchanges or investing our money on some good IEOs will do better than bounties.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eth is hacked ........ on: June 14, 2019, 07:44:57 AM
what can I do to stop it
I have no evidence

the hacker's address is  0xEEBbC9888fD8Ec5dFC267a915664780c8fa66426

My address is 0xd125a58b966dc8bdf10489fd910ca929934a0dbc

It happened in Jun 6th

I guess I download a virus altcoin wallet and the hacker found my private key in my desktop

What ? You stored your private coin on your desktop ? It could be anyone who borrowed your pc, and copied your private key.
You should store your private key on somewhere safe place other than your desktop. At least somewhere in the deep folder on your computer, not desktop.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between ICO and IEO on: June 13, 2019, 03:41:17 AM
If I am not mistaken, by the end of 2018 the ICO project has been abandoned by many parties for various reasons that have emerged and turned to the IEO.

The 'various reasons' you mentioned like : many scam ICO, many delay on roadmap, etc.
But the IEO itself doesn't give any guarantee that the IEO company will developing accordingly.
Many ICO coin value were dropping after the sale period, then the investors became pessimistic to ICO.

390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: June 13, 2019, 03:17:36 AM
we all know that Bitcoin is the best crypto right now.
and many people argue that Bitcoin is the main crypto that greatly affects the crypto market.
my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto and what do you think can make Bitcoin die?

Bitcoin has high influence toward other altcoins. Im afraid if bitcoin die, the other altcoins will die too.
But this is nearly impossible from happening. Bitcoin price is very high, i cannot imagine if it hit 0 in the future.
The thing that can makes btc die is when the asic manufacturer secretly mining and dump it later.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Use Cases For Dogecoin? on: June 12, 2019, 04:39:11 PM
I was recently tipped a decent amount of Dogecoin on Tipestry for posting about a bunch of different cryptos. Should I convert the Dogecoin to BTC or ETH? Does Dogecoin have a future? I'm thinking about keeping it on Tipestry for a while and then transferring it out to my ledger (assuming I don't convert it to BTC/ETH)

Dogecoin is the most strange top coins in cryptocurrency for me. It just a meme coin, so why it has high marketcap value?
Seems like the use case of Dogecoin is simply as a currency. You can pay peoples in Doge, and peoples can pay you in Doge and you can sell it to fiat currency later.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Requirement for Bounty Managers before they require KYC to bounty hunters. on: June 12, 2019, 04:13:15 PM
Well, i think it is not necessary to requiring KYC for bounty manager, if they are a trusted manager here in this forum.
The one we must verify is not only the bounty manager, but the ICO as well whether they real or fraud.
Participating in a fraud ICO bounty is same as wasting your time and efforts for nothing.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better ICO, STO Or IEO ? on: June 11, 2019, 02:24:27 AM
What do you think, IEO better than ICO or STO or they are just the same with only difference in system?

We know IEO is more reliable because it is running on the exchange platform.
But better or not, i think it is back to the project, team, and the development of the project itself.
At least we can avoid scammy project that usually gone after raising funds.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptobridge Exchange good or SCAM? on: June 11, 2019, 01:41:08 AM
What makes you think Cryptobridge is scam exchange ? I think it is good.
Im using that exchange sometimes, and it is a decentralized exchange. Decentralize exchange will help crypto to be more decentralized.

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your definition of shitcoin? on: June 10, 2019, 06:46:43 AM
What actually defines a shit coin?  The continuous price decrease after listing on an exchange with actual working products in real life or a stable price and a minimal increase in price but lacking real life working products?

It is actually only a dead coin, a coin that has no value because many peoples sold the coin.
They sold it because nothing happening in the project, the devs may already left the project and scammed investors.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market situation on: June 10, 2019, 06:27:19 AM
What are your views on the current state of Crypto currency markets ? How does the future looks like?

Nothing has changed, the market still red from past days.
Although the future still far, many peoples still not using crypto and this is our chance now.
The future of crypto still good because peoples can massively adopted crypto in the future.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: June 09, 2019, 03:01:30 PM
I guess it can't be helped, many ICO were turned into scam projects and investors lost their money.
Once we see something wrong in some ICO, we will say that ICO is scam which actually doesn't like that.
My suggestion is, we must take our time to do some research and then we can say it scam or legit.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A mobile App for MEW on: June 09, 2019, 02:54:03 PM
I dont know if MEW already has a mobile app but if nothing like that exist, then i think its about time the developers develop something like that for easy use. Guys what do you think

It is better to use the official website of myetherwallet directly to avoid phishing hacking.
If you want to using mobile, just use the mobile wallet like imtoken or something like that.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold ETH or Exchange with LTC on: June 08, 2019, 04:06:36 PM
I'm holding BTC and ETH for couple of months. I already have gotten great profit from ETH, should I hold more? Or I shouls have moved to LTC which also looks like a good investment for now. Please share your opinion, why or why not?

Maybe exchange your coins to LTC is not a bad idea. We see that LTC price keep increasing recently.
I just read that LTC block reward gonna halving in the near time. Halving means the miners will get smaller reward in the future than the current.
