1  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: November 29, 2015, 03:08:23 PM
I think all this would never have started if deposits were correctly credited during that time period. But around that time at least three users had that issue where deposits were not "confirmed" normally by satoshidice. (Maybe because of the "malleability attack" or the bug in satoshidice that was recently corrected as mentioned in this thread).

Now I'm slightly more inclined to believe that maybe samedamnbtc's account was compromised, but if his deposit had been confirmed normally for him when he made it (in his satoshidice account), then I think he wouldn't be blaming you now.

my account cant be compromised. I checked the balance from several browsers, while the blockchain showed 0 movement, even if my account was compromised, the thief would see the same balance as me, "0"

so how can someone steal not credited coins? either an insider or a bug in the system.

I've been getting a "Failed To Place Bet At A Time" error for the last 12 hours or so whenever I try to roll the dice.

Anyone got any idea why that would be the case?

Yes, this happens when connections are not terminated properly. I have reset the connection count for your account now so it works again. Unfortunately we have to do severe blocking of simultaneous connections because the system would otherwise be vulnerable in the same way that PD was when Hufflepuff cheated $1M in Bitcoin out of their system.

The drama got to reddit:

https://np.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3u2ago/satoshidice_100_scam_thieves_or_corrupt_insiders/

You might want to explain to them what happened, I think satoshidice is very trustable but there is a lot of slander going on here.

I just answered it. Here's a summary of the information we have:

Quote
There were the following deposits/withdrawals were made with your account:

Deposit: 59c8b8aa482f3f19fc4a996ad25a8f3b007ef5ea3c87beb675b4db1b3daf3bc3 18.50000000

We see in the logs that your account first accessed Satoshi Dice through an anonymous proxy. There were then withdraw attempts from several different IP numbers, including the ISP that appears to be your regular connection that withdraw the 2.39 amount successfully.

I'm just speculating here, but it's possible that the secret was stolen by the proxy operator if your personal URL was put in a bad web based proxy, or if you were using a VPN service/TOR and accessing your account without putting https in front of your URL.

The coins never got credited, which means they cant be stolen. I first accesed the site through proxy with https in front, which it gives me automatic, so the connection was secure from the get go. After the coins not being credited, i thought maybe the browser was flukey, thats why i changed and used the regular browser.

My second deposit arrived normally, with no delay. The first deposit, 18.5BTC never got credited, so i **CANT** accept the logic of them being stolen.

something I never possesed, or got credited **CANT** be stolen!! I need you to understand that. My account is still intact with change in it, which means my account cant be compromised.

How can something I never had be stolen from me? Its not possible for the thief to even steal the money, because your logs even confirm my rejected withdrawels...
so how can I have rejected withdrawel when in fact the coins was in my account?

you can follow the time-line of my rejected withdrawels and cross-elimate with the balance, if my balance was "correct" then the withdrawels would not be rejected right?

Lets start looking at possible options: if the coins sit in an account for too long without being spent or withdrawn, would they sit for ever, or would they be transfered to a cold wallet?

The only truth is, they coins never got credited, and I check with several browser and computers, the loggs is proof of that, the coins was still in Satoshi when I checked as well, so I know I did not get robbed.

Also, when I made my first withdrawel, the other blockchain started to show movement of my coins, NOT BEFORE, but AFTER, also AFTER I sent support messages.

4  Economy / Gambling / satoshidice 100% scam and/or corrupt workers/admin stealing user funds! on: November 24, 2015, 10:23:36 AM
I have had an issue with Satoshi for over 2 months now.

My account never got credited a deposit of 18.5BTC. Once I contacted their support, my coins starting moving out of the Blockchain.
I sent 18.5BTC from several outputs, due to Electrum wallet, the coins NEVER got credited! The page was refreshed 100s of times, NO COINS EVER in the account from that deposit.

Now, they are claiming my account is compromised, because they dont have a story to fit. My account have never been compromised, because if it ever, was, they would steal all my funds and not just 18.5, which is the missing deposit.
I have been very patiant for 2 fucking months, but their excuses have changed from day one.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77870.new#new
read here the whole story.

100% scammers, I will continue this message on other foras and let people know. If you know someone who can help me get my coins back, please!
other then that, I will ruin your reputation SATOSHI FOR STEALING MY COINS

still missing 18.5 BTC.

i want to solve this matter, help me please.

Its either a bug that are hiding my coins or something corrupt happening, because they never got credited, so a withdrawel could never have been possible, thats what dont make any sense.

Thank you for proving my point!!

What amount was the unsuccsessful withdraw request? what time? now you have to make up the story and I will start poking holes in it, because your answers is clearly suggesting you are in for it with the heist of stealing my fucking money.

THE other satoshi, told me to not follow the blockchain because your wallet works internarnally, NOW YOU ARE TELLING ME TO FUCKING FOLLOW IT?

100% fucking scammers here!!!! IF you want your money stolen from you? SATOSHIDICE the longest standing betting dice game, is 100% corrupt.

your first paragraph is correct.

however, if I never had access to the coins, how could anyone steal them? thats what baffles me. something I never had, cant be stolen from me..

You can follow the time line from Blockchain and follow my posting history, when I first posted here, the coins was intact in my account without being moved, after not getting a response i decided to transfer(2.39xx) hoping to push the first transaction through.

you can still see by the time line, that both transaction was in the Satoshi wallet provieded, together at the same time. why wouldnt the thief steal the coins?

Believe me, I checked a lot of time and refreshed the page, the coins never got updated/credited. Once I transfered 2.39xx BTC, those got credited normally, same with the withdraw.

Like I have mentioned, my first deposit (18.5btc) came from many outputs, due to Electrum wallet, im 100% sure the issue is in that regard and that my coins is not stolen but in your system somewhere.

even if the coins was stolen, I never had access to them, blaming me for stolen coins I never had access to is not something I consider professional.

I know this is a big amount for both parties, however, I have done nothing but send the coins to the correct address and them not being credited.

and btw: all my connection is through https, the link is just copied, which comes automatic with https in the beginning.

I want to add, my only withdraw request is: https://blockchain.info/address/1BxL33WtTusT1MPU27EUryP6UyvgqNsVux

80642213f9c9b71fbb82f60dee1b8ae5385783958d0e95d4d9ebdaf3dcc93bef2015

The total transaction is 18.5, but I only withdrew 2.39.

the blockchain shows it as 18.5 withdrawel, my address is included in that transaction, but only for 2.39BTC, the rest goes another place, same time as my withdraw request.

This transaction happened later, when i did not access the site: 6eb960f7e6ef006416418860b0b2e393e9c7a9d253b99875adefb70915dbc545

All my coins are gone from my deposit address: 1P1HKwYhxJcLRcFTErDK62PkgoEbRkUdLv

but i only withdrew once, since the only deposit that got credited was 2.39

We're gonna check thw IP address of withdrawal but that's pretty much all we can do.

No, we are gonna solve this. I never got access to my coins, of course i wont accept losing 18.5 just because you give me an IP address.

The issue is at your hand, because your site never updated my balance, it was always 0 or 2.39btc, never 18.5btc or 20.89btc!

I havent had access to the coins therefor I wont accept a loss like that.

IP address is a good start for this. If the IP address that requested this withdrawal is not your IP address then that means some other people has stolen your coins

thats not possible that my account is compromised, unless there is a vulnerbillity in the Satoshi dice system. I tried withdrawing 18.5, the site would not let me, because the coins never got credited to my account even though blockchain agreed with 6++ comfirmations.

If the coins never got credited how can they be stolen?

If my account was compromised, they would have emptied it and not just taken the roundest number 18.5, which is my first deposit.

I still have change in my account and no betting history.

I never withdrew 18.5 BTC, following it on the blockchain reveals its not a personal wallet.

I came and reported the issue within hours, this is clearly not a scam by me!

I refreshed the site 100s of times, last effort was making another transaction, since i knew your support dont answer request, so i tried to fix my issue by making a new deposit. I AM GLAD I DID. because if not, you would have claimed my account was compromised.

I dont have the coins neither withdraw 18.5 and my account is not compromised = your site have my coins somewhere.

The coins never got credited! The transaction you refer to, is your site moving my coins! I only withdraw the second deposit, the first never got credited. The fact that my account show balance, while the blockchain show i have 0 is a proof of that.
