Hi thefalleng2,

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think those of us used to working with professionals only try sites like oDesk once Wink Never again! My bumping is not out of desperation or anything, it's just that things disappear into the 20th page of this thread in like a day, so I try to keep it up front when I think of it.

Cheers.

Tell me something. Why do some skilled workers hate freelancing sites so much?

because their(the site) only interrest is money, in their pockets,  they will happely let you earn money on their site, but as soon as you try to withdraw it, sh!t hits the fan, and you will have to resort to personally go after the actual CEO of the company, weeks on end, and finally expose the whole store online, in order for you to finally get your funds (yes this happened to me , not on Odesk, but freelancer.com)

These guys are rediculous scammers (im sure some people dont get screwed there, but i know for a fact, most people do!)

And this is just from the freelancers view,   employers have another good bunch of reasons, not to user those services ..
323  Economy / Services / Re: [For Hire] The best programmer in the whole known(and unknown) universe on: December 18, 2014, 11:50:47 AM
*Sets down popcorn, slowly claps*
I wouldn't be surprised if:
Code:
Write a program that prints number 1 to 100. But, for multiples of 7 print "Satoshi" instead of the number and for the multiples of 8 print "Nakamoto". For numbers that are multiples of both 7 and 8 print "SatoshiNakamoto".
came up coincidentally on Stackoverflow or similar sites that help with coding.  Cheesy

who on earth doesnt know the OLD fizzbuzz test Huh : http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?FizzBuzzTest

333  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [LAUNCH] Looking for advertisers for new pay-to-surf on: December 17, 2014, 04:15:54 PM
Will give this a go.

Thx my man, just create the ad via the site, dont pay for it there (as it has the full price onsite), and let me know the id of the ad (you'll see it on the payment screen), i will manually approve your add, and you can pay the desired amount directly to me.

Or you pay (the higher price) via the site, and i match the visitors to the higher amount you payed.

either way, thx.

EarnSomeBits.com

Hi guys, in order for me to launch my new project http://earnsomebits.com, i am looking for advertisers (and surfers)

So i would like to offer to anyone here on bitcointalk, who would be so kind as to support a brand new HONEST ptc, the following offer:

500 views for just 0.0015 BTC
1000 views for just 0.0020 BTC
2000 views for just 0.0035 BTC
4000 views for just 0.0065 BTC

To the first 10 purchases by bitcointalk users to purchase, i want to add the following as a thank you:
Send me your banner (and url), and i will add it to rotation for 30 days !

I am hoping to get a decent amount of ads, via bitcointalk users, before i start promoting it towards surfers.

Other than purchases, any donations and feedback on the website very much appreciated as well

ps to interrested surfers: you will see, that the site also displays how many "BitPoints" you have ..... we will be revealing what they are, how you get them, and how you spend them, soon ..  Huh

Thx in advance
336  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [QUESTION] Anyone interrested in custom BTC-only PTC script? on: December 17, 2014, 06:55:25 AM

337  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New AD webpage idea on: December 16, 2014, 01:38:06 PM
heres an idea i've been playing with

The website has X amount of boxes

lets say 50 for example

49 of these would be filled with advertisements, 1 box would be a WINNER box

say for example, each one has payed 0.001, for their box to be on the website for 1 day, there would be a total of 0.5 worth of ads on the website today

Each registered user (unique email and wallet id, to combat multiple accounts)
Could pick a single box each day.

At the end of the day, the winner box is revealed, and all the users that selected that box, that day get equal share of the prize money (minus the site takes a small percentage)

if NOBODY won that day, all the prize money goes to the next day, and the ads also carry over to the next day, and the game continues.

Then there could be things like, getting extra chances to open boxes, trough refferals, etc..

anybody interrested in this idea, then i'll get right on it !
338  Bitcoin / Project Development / [QUESTION] Anyone interrested in custom BTC-only PTC script? on: December 16, 2014, 01:24:35 PM
Hey guys,

I've been playing with the idea of starting a simple ptc, such as btcclicks, coinad, or coinadder.

Was thinking of adding some fancy special stuff to it, to make it really stand out (i got some nice ideas)

It seems like i cant find a pre-made one anywhere, or a proper one to buy for that matter ... so i figured, i'll make my own.

So i did my homework.

Then i started wondering, instead of launching it, perhaps i could just license the script, but is there any interrest in the script itself ??

So again, my question is, would anyone be interrested in a PROPER custom made btc-ptc script.

(im talking PROPER code here, using sf2 framework, doctrine, etc, not some piece of spagetti code with a spagetti smarty template around it, as most script sold on the internet are)

i have no idea around pricing or licensing model etc, i would just like to gauge interest for now . .

Thx in advance

It looks a lot better than when it first was being tested!

Just another little grammar thing: "Keep on rolling, untill i say stop!" should be "Keep on rolling, until I say stop!" if you want that exact phrasing, or something like "Endless (click stop to end)"

thx for the feedback. will be fixing that typo as soon as im at te office, she low ssl provider is pretty much allthat is holding up the launch now ..

Changelog 16 december 2014:
    -terms on register page
    -typos
    -provablyfair link moved to footer
    -more footer changes
    -FAQ page
    -Terms page
