61  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: April 15, 2024, 07:35:35 AM
Hi ladies and guys of the gambling board..

I believe by now, we all should already know that the bull run is fast approaching, and like it's often said, "Do not put all your eggs in one basket", I've invested in different coins from different narratives like Defi, Ai, Rwa, Gamefi and so on and on, but one narrative I've not put any money in Is gamblefi, or simply put, casino tokens, that is a token or coin owned by a casino, and this is not becuase I don't know any, I know quite some, and in all that know, I think two or three stand out, and those are..

1. RLB - from Rollbit
2. FUN - from freebitco
3. BFG - from Betfury

Investing in casino tokens I would say comes with rather a high level of risk, why? Because to me, they arent well known, they don't seem to make waves like coins or tokens from other narratives, and the chances they may remain stagnated and the same price even during the bull run; is quite high.

So, I am brining this dicussion to the gambling community here, and I have just three questions to ask, and they are..

1. Amongst the three casino tokens I mentioned above, if you were to invest in one, which would it be?

2. Are there any new casino tokens you think will do well in this coming bull run? Please tell the community and briefly introduce the project to us..

3. Overall, how are you expecting casino tokens to perform generally, in this coming bull run.?

I'd say FUN token from freebitco.in is the best. Why? Today the price of it is 7 times lower than when it was peaking 3 years ago. But it is still alive, and freebitco.in is a legit company that is surely not going to disappear in the nearest years. But, like always, I want to warn all of you guys: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose!

And replying to the 3rd question, will casino tokens will perform pretty well, imo.

On the other hand, I am sure that any gambling company will not want to include the bad effects of gambling because obviously their goal is to make a lot of profit from gamblers who always act excessively like those who have entered the addiction phase, because if the casino gives gamblers an announcement about the bad effects of gambling then obviously it can make the casino unable to achieve greater profits while the casino's goal is to achieve maximum revenue.

Again I'm reading something about gambling companies being interested in making profits from gambling addicts. I strongly disagree with this and expressed my point thoroughly in my post above. Please read it and make your objections if you have them. I'm open to discussion.

As speaking about being a business then it would really be just that normal that they would really be catering out services on different market. In return then they would really be
having those deductions or commisions simply on which they do make money or simply makes income.

Yes, and yet if we compare casino to Stoc,Forex&Crypto Broker in terms of earning money, I think they are almost the same. In any of those other options luck still pays a big role. Is it harder to earn money there than in casino? I wouldn't say so. But, in my opinion, they are at the same ball park.
64  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 12, 2024, 11:45:17 AM
~ I had 3 Golden Tickets this time

and I was hoping to win, of course. Smiley

Now it looks like the drawing for the latest round has already taken place. But I think these data

relate to the round before the latest(look at the number of total tickets: there were more of them in the latest round than in the round 9). Can someone please clarify the situation?
I want to understand you correctly, you mean that the number of tickets that won in the last round is higher than the number of tickets that win the lambo draw this round?
~

No, I mean there were more tickets, 1,633,865, before the last round was ended, than the total number of tickets in the round 9. That's why I think Round 9 wasn't the latest round.

I have read all the replies made after my precious post, and my question still remains unanswered. So, I 'll ask it again: Was it the Round 9 that had finished recently or was it the Round 10? I think it was the Round 10, and so this info

has to be updated.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: April 12, 2024, 09:07:06 AM

Though, there would be a problem with taking such measures and adopting such a rule to deal with bad refees. See, referees are supposed to be respected by both teams and clubs in the match, regardless of the decision, if a referee alledgely does something which would benefit one of the teams playing and it could be considered to be unjust, then removing the referee would not solve the problem, because neither of the parties/teams playing is supposed to have the authority to remove him from the game and program a rematch or something similar, a third party evaluating the referee would be necessary and that will only make things more confusing an would not solve the dispute.

I'm not talking about a referee just doing something that can be considered unjust. Of course it can be very confusing and overall inconvenient. I'm talking about obvious racism. It can be spotted if it goes on repeatedly, and also if it's only confirmed by his/her social media posts.

As it stands today, it should be enough to keep a league or organizations of referees who have a very spotless behavior and had proven themselves to be unbiased. Also, I believe the salary of referees is an important thing to look at, of they are well paid, it is less likely for them to get involved into match fixing.

I agree with this. But unfortunately they can make unfair decisions based on their racism even being well paid.

I'm not quite sure why you would want poor neighborhoods to not have casinos. In my opinion a rich person can afford a lot more entertainment than a poor person. Keeping a poor person from gambling is not a very fair solution even if you think that his level of education and financial literacy does not allow him to manage his money properly. In addition, a rich gambler to get emotions must make a bet of $100, and a poor gambler is enough to make a bet of $1 and he will experience similar emotions.

Oh, if it were like this! If it were like you said, I would wholeheartedly support placing slot machines and some other gambling facilities in the poor neighborhoods. But unfortunately  if you are uneducated, more often than not, it's never enough for you to win couple of dollars. You want to win really a lot, thinking that big money can bring you happiness, and thus you risk a lot, and often you lose it. Maybe it wouldn't look like a big amount for a rich person, but for you it's all you have.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: April 12, 2024, 07:59:46 AM

Gambling is not so easy to predict but people are better predictors with sports betting. Even at that, we should not see external advice as too precious when we ourselves can even predict it if we are determined to learn the way and act and give it better thoughts and actions. This is necessary because luck can never be left out and even if we pay for any external service, we should still be lucky in addition before it can work as no one is a perfect predictor in anything.

First off, predicting the outcome of a dice game, same as of slots', is not hard, it's impossible. In sports betting, on the other hand, it's pretty easy to predict a win for a highly superior team. But the thing is it's usually counterbalanced by very low odds(multipliers on your bet), so you don't gain much from your knowledge. And of course there's always a possibility of the underdog winning the game, or a draw, and then you can lose your bet because of bad luck, even though it was "easy" to predict.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: April 11, 2024, 12:56:45 PM
I don't recommend playing this machine since there's no fairness certification, unlike slot machines with certification or a license. If the prize is just a toy, then it's not gambling by definition, but if the prize is money, then it's gambling. This machine is easy to tweak or compromise, so even if you're a skilled "crawler," you still can get bad results. There are many YouTube videos testing and explaining this machine.

In a casino the prizes are tokens, redeemable to money.

Not sure if that is the main difference as you can also exchange the toy for money.

I think the main difference, legally speaking, is that one is a game of chance (gambling) and the other is a game of skill (crawl machine)

It's not a game of skill, many people in this thread said it, and I agree with them. It's an illusion that the creators of this game bore in mind when they were making it. It would be a game of skill, more or less, if after you captured the prize it were guaranteed that you'll get it. Unfortunately, we all know that more often than not it's not the case.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: April 11, 2024, 11:56:54 AM
One of the most important thing is being patient with your game and I know nobody is encyclopedia of knowledge that knows it all but patient can really help a lot and gambling after taking your time to predict your game and you have studied yourself and you have known the best game for me to attack so I see no point you changing your decision just because of few new ideas that someone gave to you, but I will advise you to stick to your plan. The patience don’t gamble because you are saying people winning gamble because it’s the right time for you and how you have taken your decision on the kind of game to play and when to do it

Maybe you are talking about sports betting or poker with real human players(not Video Poker), because in purely luck-based games like dice, roulette, mines, slots etc. patience is irrelevant. No "plan" however good it was and no patience will help you there. But you never mentioned that you were talking about skill-based games, so, Idk. Do you really think it's possible to predict the outcome of a game like dice or slots? Just curious.

Indeed, experiencing hunger can affect our focus when playing gambling. Yes, it is better not to force our stomach to empty when gambling. It would be better to fill our body with nutrition. If you force it, it will definitely make your body weak. Avoid drinking alcohol when you play at the gambling table, especially if they play drunk, of course they will lose consciousness and they will definitely not focus on playing and they will definitely experience defeat. Usually people don't play again, usually they are frustrated. They lost a lot of money there and want to try again. They think more about their lives than gambling again.

I agree that drinking alcohol will make you making higher bets, and that's not good in general. But I disagree regarding not playing when you are hungry. In my opinion feeling of hunger can play a positive role: at one point you decide that you need to eat something and you stop playing and go to a cafe. Then you are sitting there and eating your food and thinking "That's enough of gambling for me for today. I think I'll do something else." And that's a good thinking when you have gambled for an hour or more already.

Casinos never manipulate a game because that game you play there in that particular casino can be played in another casino website and you can see the similarities.

I like your approach. Indeed, contrary to popular belief, well-known casinos never manipulate a game. That's what too many gamblers are missing: gambling platforms don't need to manipulate no game because they already have math playing on their side. They earn money thanks to the house edge and they don't need to risk their reputation manipulating a game.

Not well-known ones, on the other hand, situated on shady sites, do manipulate their games, a lot. Beware of them.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 11, 2024, 08:28:17 AM
Casinos have a vibe: the energy, the crowd, the whole scene. Its not just the money, its the experience. And these days, with everything online, people are starved for that real-world buzz.

Not all people, I can assure you of that. I'm not, for instance. And it's not only me. There are many people who prefer their home environmet to anything alse, and what others see as perks, they see as drawbacks: shiny surfaces, loud talks around them, alcoholic drinks served by seductive women, you name it. It's not for everybody, you know.

Casinos can win big, and I mean BIG, by being more than just slots and tables. Forget just gambling - we're talking shows, top-notch restaurants, maybe even classes on how to play. Its about that human connection.

And dont think they're going extinct, far from it. The smart casinos get it – people miss the personal touch. Its not about fighting the internet, it's about giving folks something they cant find on their phones. Thats the future. Its the Vegas experience revamped, and believe me, thats a winning hand.

That's what I agree with. AT least during the nearest 50 years there will always be some people enjoying land-based casinos.

If more people realise that decentralized systems isn't like a banking or centralized system were you can go and report a transaction and they seize the persons money or track the person( although its possible if they are not smart enough) then you would be more careful when doing deals here.

Absolutely. Bitcoin transaction cannot be undone. I would like to draw attention to the virus that has caused a lot of losses recently. It infects you computer and does nothing except it waits until you make a transaction and it changes the address you just copied to another one. Please, guys, double check what you are pasting.

Hello, FortuneJack!

First off, thanks to your amazing team for helping me with passing tremendously difficult KYC, so that I could withdraw my money. Smiley

On a second note, I was wondering why I can't play Pragmatic Play slots on your site? If I Google where can I play Pragmatic slots, I get this:

And I'm living in Ukraine right now and trying to access FortuneJack from there. And there's no problem with the site itself, but regarding Pragmatic slots I'm constantly getting this:

Again, your site is amazing. And even without Pragmatic Play you have a lot of games to have fun with. I'm just wondering if there's anything wrong on my side.

EDIT: OMG, I just noticed the "except" word. Sorry, never mind.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: April 10, 2024, 01:21:31 PM
~ Without a doubt people can get lucky once in a while as that is the part of the nature of gambling, but more often than not those that take such high risks will eventually return all of that money to the casino, and casino owners know this, so they are happy with those results as that customer is likely to come back to try to replicate those results.
~

It's a common misconception that if someone loses, say, $1,000, all those money go to the casino. Especially that's not true for online gambling, where, quite reasonably, at least a part of those money go to the game providers who are entirely different people from those who run the casino.

But even if a game completely belongs to the casino, a so-called house game like dice for example, only a small part of what we lose goes to the house, namely the house edge, that's it.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: April 10, 2024, 11:47:24 AM
When we talk about religion we cannot dine the forbidden things like alcohol, prostitution and many other things in this topic we will discuss why do gambling is forbidden (Haram, interdit) .
So can you tell me why is it forbidden in your religion?
And for the non religious persons what you think ?
You can simply browse that in internet to find the better answer because for me , my
complete respect to Muslim's forbidding many things because those are truly not a good
thing to human , alcohol is roots of troubles while prostitution is about health and other
things, and there is this gambling that have ruined many lives and families for the long
time of existence
 ~

Why having guns is not forbidden then? Ruined many lives and families too. Why stoning women to death isn't forbidden in this religion? Doesn't that ruin some people's lives?

Gambling is forbidden in Islam  because in it "lies grave sin". Meaning it makes people get used to laziness and idleness, while good Muslims should be hard working and God-abiding people.

Sweet win Betwrong,

Thank you, @buwaytress! It's a pleasure to receive congratulations from such an experienced sports bettor like yourself.

but I won a darn good amount with the second one
Nice win, but it was a close call because I think Everton scored their goal in last few minutes.
Newcastle was better in that match,
but only points count Wink
~

Agreed. But, like you said, it's only the final result that really counts. So, I'm glad Everton scored their goal making it a draw in the end. After all it's because of that I won my bet. Smiley

Financial pressures is certainly common for everyone, and if we decide selling at that times, then at least our investment has probably serve its purpose. Remember that we are not just investing merely to buy and hold, we also buy bitcoin at it cheap price so we can sell it quite a decent amount when financial pressures suddenly strikes. Hence, it can also serve as our emergency funds, that we can get something out from it in times of money troubles.

Right, but sometimes we know that it will rise much more in the future, and we sell anyway because we need the money right now. And there are times when we sell at the price 2-3 times lower than it used to be, but due to financial pressures we have no option but sell. That's how it is with Bitcoin. Those who are not ready for such situations shouldn't enter the game.

Why I personally don't enjoy playing in demo mode, or in other words "for free", is because you have no chance of winning anything playing like that. There are slots which propose you like 50,000x or even 100,000x potential multiplier, and if your bet is just 10 cents you can potentially win thousands of USD. And that's what makes gambling exciting. Playing in demo mode you just delete that excitement.

Same here, I consider it waste of time since you can’t gain anything by doing that while most of the slot games is boring if played in demo. Winning money is what makes slot games intense and fun.

Most importantly, You might hit max win on demo which is just a shame to the opportunity like that while you can use small amount on bets to risk small to have a potential huge win.

I manage to win a max win on San Quentin slot games but on demo mode. After that, I never play demo and always bet the minimum when doing relax slot game play just in case I manage to hit max win again.

San Quentin's max win is 150,000x. I mean, even if your bet is just $0.10 you win $15k. No one in the world would mind winning that amount. Even Mark Zuckerberg wouldn't. Smiley

I can't say I have quit playing demos. I find it entertaining sometimes. But the funny bit is my real winnings are actually much bigger than those in demo mode.

~ Now, I've known about Bustabit for a year or two. It's a place I go to unwind sometimes. For instance, just last week, I lost around $10k on futures trading. But before that loss, I actually turned $250 into nearly $5,000 on Bustabit by playing patiently.~

I'm sorry, what are talking about, mate? How can you turn $250 into nearly $5,000 by playing "patiently"? The answer is, you can't. No patience will help you to do something like that, it all depends only on luck.
~

I employ a strategic approach to my gameplay. I never play consecutively. Typically, after observing a series of red outcomes, usually around 4 or 5, I join the game.

You mean the "pre-rolling" technique that has been used by dice players since the beginning of times? Honestly, there's nothing new in it, and as all other strategies for purely lucky-based games, it works until it doesn't. Smiley

Let's say I start with a bet of 1 BIT and lose it. I then double my bet to 2 BIT, and if I lose again, I double it once more to 4 BIT.

Again, it's an ancient as the sands good old martingale strategy. There are millions of "improved" martingale strategies around, but all of them follow one rule: they work until they don't.

~ Did you see I did increase my BIT 50% and reduct my payout as same? I'm not playing with my chance.

What are you doing, mate, is you are playing with your chance, you won't convince me otherwise.
