So is the updated wallet on the website already?
Yes, Vault v2.0 is the new version with PoSP. Other than a new look, it will run the same as the old one until the point of the hard fork occurring at 9am EST on 12/31/15 (New Years Eve). At which point PoSP will begin and replace the current PoS. PoW will run congruent with PoSP for the first 24 hours until 9am EST on 1/1/16 just to smooth out the transition. From there forward, it will be PoSP along. Enjoy!

I wanted to download the CBX wallet and withdraw from Cryptsy, but when I download the Windows Installer from the links provided at http://cryptobullion.io/storage-use/ and check the MD5, I am getting the wrong hash. It says I should get D41D8CD98F00B204E9800998ECF8427E for cryptobullion-1.3.0.0-win32-setup.exe but I get something else instead. I tried with two different utilities and got the same number but not the number listed on the website. Anyone know what's up with that? I'd like to get a wallet running but I'm not installing with the discrepancy. I just checked the MD5 of the bootstrap and its checking out properly, so I know its not my verification utilities that are causing the error. Apologies, MD5 was not updated with most recent release. Updated now, thank you.

I've spend some money on this because a video is what I always wanted to be made for CBX, I think it is worth it. Any donation is welcome and appreciated. I can never seem to load my wallet anymore so I can stake. I just indefinitely sits in the state of "loading blockchain index".... This is after I just deleted everything except wallet.dat and re-synced the chain...
Any ideas? I'm using 1.3
Did you try the bootstrapped blockchain download option from the site? Here is a guide one of our community members put together. http://forum.cryptobullion.io/index.php?topic=1455.0Please let me know how you make out... OK, seems that may have done the trick. Another problem I've noticed is that if I minimize to the tray.... I can't seem to ever get the main wallet window back even if I do Show/Hide... Have not experienced that before... What OS? Will have a look. I'm running in on a VM and Windows 7 x64... Please try suggestions here: http://superuser.com/questions/377279/windows-7-cant-reopen-minimised-window-on-taskbar-preview-

The vast majority share of CBX trading occurs at Cryptsy. Cryptsy has been and continues to be a valuable and trustworthy partner and we hope this will continue for many years to come. That having been said, we do have other trading platforms available to us. It seems that it would be a beneficial step for us to help and boost the volumes of these other exchanges so we as a community are not over expended in any one central point. I know people have voiced opinions on one or the other, each with unique benefits. Let's open up this discussion and vote to help prioritize these exchange platforms so we can focus on them one at a time. Primary concerns should be security and trust in my opinion but we should also consider volume, potential investor exposure and of course trading fees and withdrawal/deposit limitation.
Please vote above and discuss.

Looks like the majority has spoken regarding transaction fees. I am pleased to announce that transaction fees will no longer be destroyed and instead will be included in PoS blocks upon release of Vault v2.0 with PoSP! Great choice

October 17, 2015 'State of the Bullion' Address:
Hello to the Crypto Bullion community!
We are very pleased to bring forward a few announcements to the CBX family.
Firstly, we have a new team member that has joined us, Alexandre ‘Alex4J’. After a wide-ranging candidate search and interview process, Alex4J has been appointed as our Senior Coder/Developer. Alex4J is an initially self taught programmer who later in life pursued professional training and accreditation. Along the way he discovered a passion for cryptography and cryptocurrency and joins the Crypto Bullion Team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in these areas of study and development. Additional to this, Alex4J brings another flavor of culture, hailing from Belgium, to the already diverse development team as well as his associated ideas and familiarity with CBX's target demographic.
Alex4J has already gotten involved in the source working out some bugs from our planned interim Vault release (Version 1.3.0) and compiling to where it is ready for public release today! PoSP work will now receive his full attention and we do not anticipate any issues with keeping our schedule for a Q4 release.
Please join me in welcoming Alexandre ‘Alex4J’ to the Crypto Bullion family!
Secondly, as touched on above, the new Vault (v1.3.0) is available for download via our website http://cryptobullion.io/storage-use/.
This new release includes: • New checkpoints • Upgrade to QT5 • IRC chat functionality • Update setup • New Vault translations (Multi-language) • Denomination added for .01 CBX = 1 Bull
Stay tuned, lots more in the pipeline and some great community projects taking foot!

I don't know where pre-installed 0.1 cbx should be paid from. Aren't you afraid that when the price is higher people will install hundreds of wallets or even more with some hack?
Yes, we will take security precautions. Also, the mobile Vaults will pull from a designated address and only come loaded as long as funds are in that address. This will aid in insuring that consequences of a hack or gaming of the system are limited.

New poll created to get community feedback regarding CBX transaction fees. Currently fees are destroyed in order to help offset increase in money supply from staking. However, since CBX maximum inflationary rate is so low (2% per year), we would like to explore options for potential uses of these fees.
The options in the poll should be pretty clear except for the last one regarding the P2P Vault. To better explain, this is a planned outreach program to coincide with our mobile Vault launch in which each mobile Vault download will install with 10 Bulls (0.1 CBX). We feel this is a nice incentive to encourage downloading and use of the mobile Vault - especially by those new to cryptocurrency.

Ok, looks like the 2 majority vote leaders for naming 1/100th CBX are 'Bulls' and 'CryptoBits'. Lets do a final round between these two options as they are the closest to consensus. Reseting poll now.
|
|
|
|
Ok guys! 1 final reset done. Lets make this one count

|
|
Ha, that's a lot of babies. Ok guys I won't longer involve in this discussion and do not like the suggestions, but majority counts.
Apologies BTCat! I see I overlooked your suggestion. It has been added
|
|
|
|
Ok all, I have added the suggested names and restarted the poll. As VonSpass mentioned, we have limited time for this decision now so we will refer to the previous vote unless we get a large consensus from the new one. Here is where the old vote was before resetting: digit, thank you, coins-e has been removed from op, website and reddit.
