641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin (airdrop) - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 22, 2017, 07:01:22 PM
i will dump my BCC for real Bitcoin (BTC) after the split.. It will be dumped to zero. Just wait & watch..
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin (airdrop) - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 22, 2017, 02:40:27 PM
BTC price likely to drop 10 to 20 percent on August 1st when the chain splits. Make sure to have your private keys when this happens so you don't lose funds.

and why would price drop? only bcoz someone is forking his own of Bitcoin ? I dont think it will have any effect on price unless some Big Miner is behind this project..
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin (airdrop) - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 22, 2017, 02:34:12 PM
i dont think this will have any effect on BTC, not even on BTC Price.

Let aside getting Majority of POW, which miners are supporting this Fork ?

Replay Protection ?
645  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ?, on: July 19, 2017, 04:29:28 PM
Considering all crypto world high risk investment, BTC is the less risky so i would put a bigger part in BTC. Moreover, even if BTC fails at solving escalability and fungibility problems it will remain a good choice for storage of value. As for ETH, i think it is a great project but with lots of garbage and projects built on top of it. So when one or two BIG startups mess up, eth will take a serious hit.
This being said ETH is in my portfolio but it a lesser extent than BTC

agreed. ICO's will be responsible mostly for the fall of Ether price. You never know when some ICO starts liquidating their ETH
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1 Million satoshis per day on: July 19, 2017, 04:28:00 PM

crypto is a wild market. you can easily make 0.2-3 btc with 1 BTC, only if you know where to put it exactly..
Is this for real? 0.2 - 3 btc with 1 btc. Is this suppose to be a daily earning or an accumulative monthly earning? I sure will like to know more from you. Ain't scared to be informed.

you can earn that easily with Altcoin trading. Just need to enter at right time. Bittrex is the best place to start.. Many coins rise 10-30% everyday..
647  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Recommend a good exchange on: July 19, 2017, 04:25:27 PM
There isn't any at the moment. All of them are having problems. If someone ever says to you "exchange A is great and nobody ever had any problems", he is lying.

Polo: Many withdrawal problems. Locked currencies, wallets...
Cex.io: Is in trouble with the FEDs
Btc-e: same
Kraken: same
Finex: Ticking bomb
Coinbase: Joking right?

It is time for us to push for decentralized exchanges. Oldschool exchanges has little time left.

What about Bitstamp? It offers not much currencies, only 3 and only BTC among requested by author, but anyway..

BitStamp doesnt offer Leverage trading. Its the only exchange who hasnt faced any problem other than its hack some years ago.

Thank you for notice, but leverage is too much for a noob like me Smiley
I've just started and was looking for more or less reliable exchange. I guess there's no problem of transferring some amount of BTC between different exchange wallets?

No problem in that. i would recommend Bitstamp..

651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: USDT Market Cap rising? on: July 19, 2017, 09:40:32 AM
what if they are just creating USDT out of thin air without any backing. They say that it is backed by USD 1:1. But we dont know if its truly backed or not. Its not audited..
652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ?, on: July 19, 2017, 09:38:32 AM
BTC is the Best investment "long term". Ethereum is nothing compared to it. Ethereum rose just bcoz of those over invested ICO's. Once ICO's start to liquidate you will know ETH true price.

If you want your investment to grow, alts are the best investment for short term..
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why MCO price falling ? on: July 19, 2017, 09:36:10 AM
BTC has made a reversal. Hopefully every alts will make it too.. BTC drags every coin when it goes down..
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RIALTO.AI Cryptocurrency Arbitrage and Market Maker ★ OFFICIAL THREAD ★ on: July 19, 2017, 09:34:25 AM
Arbitrage is already done by many people. I did not understand what the innovation the project has. Your goal is to facilitate arbitrage ?

agreed.  Maybe the project is about showing arbitrage opportunities. But thats arbitragers always looking at. Dont get the use of this project..

what if the ' hacker ' is sending ETH to their own address?

From this incident i guess, the hacker is not a fool to send ETH to that address linking his other address in the process.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - Token Sale 17th July 2017 on: July 17, 2017, 03:17:00 PM
https://etherscan.io/address/0x6a164122d5cf7c840d26e829b46dcc4ed6c0ae48

They change the token name into FUCKToken , ethereum dev team doing something i think ?

There is already a token named Fuck Token, which is just showing some balance in that address
