yeah i sent a chunk of lea coins over to https://exbito.com and mine never made it to my wallet and i have had no reply from support
so they are now on my skiplist.

I dropped them a note today and we'll see.. If they don't respond I will remove the exchange from the list, but I don't see there's much more I could do?

exbito still looks fishy though, and you cannot register there...

Hmm, I see.. "SMTP error" it says beneath the modal.
It could be a technical problem, lack of administtation skills or similar relatively benign issue.
I'll ty to contact them.

Thanks, fairglu. Smiley

Wow, what the hell is happening, LEAcoin went from 250 GH/s global hashrate to 185 TH/s
I'm glad to have mined a few....and on Yobit it's raising, cool Smiley

I'm surprised too! It was nice to see the graph the first thing in the morning before the first sip of coffee, though. Smiley
I guess the difficulty will slowly get back to its usual values in the next few hours, unless someone is determined to keep it high.

Hi, everyone!

The plan for LeaCoin described in the post above is now completely official.
Stay tuned... Smiley

Thank you exBito team, and good luck to both youngsters. Smiley

Hi!

We are not going to use any usual methods, especially not pump&dump. Smiley
Currently there's an internal discussion about the purpose of the premine, I expect there will be the final decision in a few days.

Since this coin was created with children in mind, and I kinda have the veto on the subject, the whole premine will most probably go to the needy children all around the world. The premine has already been transferred to a paper wallet (please have a look here), which will be donated to a chosen charity organziation as soon as we make some pre-arrangements.

I don't want to fool anyone, please don't take this statement seriously until we make an official announcement and produce some evidence.

The basic idea is to transfer LEA to the charity organization's wallet, which will have to be officially documented. The organization will have the right to activate the funds at their own discretion, at any time, and use it according to their actual priorities.
Our job will be to use LEA as much as possible, mine, trade, find some merchants that would accept LEA, and get involved in other activities that could increase its value.

The address that holds the premine is LcPCkHJW72godProWkjUDyneqnv3NwgmLd, so anyone can watch it's status.

At this moment all the funds are in one single wallet, but it may be split in the future if we make arrangements with more than one charity organization. Whatever happens, this is the address you could also donate when the time comes, and if you feel like it.

I'm personally hoarding LEA as much as I can, for I strongly believe we have enough skills and good will to put it through.

I repeat - don't believe this particular message. If you'd like to participate, please hold on until we make some progress and document it.

And finally, a friendly hint to the miners selling their LEA for peanuts: don't. Smiley

Have a nice day, everyone!

I've just created a LeaCoin faucet: http://faucet.leacoin.org/
Ugly as hell, but it works. Smiley

Integrated the faucet into the site, now it's much prettier. Smiley

57  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: April 04, 2015, 03:35:40 AM
I think I've solved it! My S5 was connected to a local stratum proxy with #xnsub in the URL. I simply removed it and things got MUCH better instantly. Now the stratum proxy disconnects the S5 on each extranonce/pool change, but the hash rate is as it should be. Smiley

If you're using stratum proxy you should consider using newer stratum proxy with extranonce support, see "Stratum-Proxy guide" here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=asic

It's exactly what I'm using. Smiley
It "talks" extranonce with the stratum server normally, but to solve the hashrate problems I had to remove '#xnsub' in the S5 pool configuration that targets the proxy.

The latest stratum-proxy commit seems to solve this problem too: https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy/issues/39 .
Now the worker can connect to the stratum proxy using #xnsub without any impact on the hashrate, if you limit the number of workers to 1. It all boils down to the extraNonce size.

OK, that's fine since you only have to use #xnsub when directly connecting to our stratums. However the proxy should not disconnect the miner on each extranonce/pool change - this is what  [enableExtranonceSubscribe" : true] setting is for in the proxy configuration ... you should report this bug in the proxy thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=611338.0).

When extranonce is enabled between the worker and the proxy itself, the S5 hashrate drops for ~20% at even slightly greater pool difficulty. That was the problem I've described initially. With extranonce worker-proxy subscription the proxy doesn't disconnect the worker, it's able to rebind the existing worker connection to another pool, but the hashrate suffers.
