1  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: March 23, 2016, 10:38:15 AM
I doubt if I can see that in the near future, but maybe when almost half of the people living on this planet are AIs, then this thing is possible, or when inflation hits USD.

Yeah, that's too far from happening..It will take more than our lifetime before it happens..But thinking about how long will bitcoin survive, still have a doubt that bitcoin would live very long, it won't be forever, it's almost impossible for the price to reach that high..
Yes indeed. I think it will have a long time to go, but it is almost impossible to let that happen, because it is a high value.
And you can see now that the value will be more of course in the future, but it wont be that high later.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2016, 10:34:29 AM
I don't know about bitcoin but i know that the halving is bad for miners. Miners are first who welcome to deny halving. But halving is good for traders and people who holding coins for price increase i think.

if the price goes up high enough after the block rewards have been decreased to 12.5btc, then the miners won't complain at all. if the price stays at current price level, then still the large mining farms can make profit. it will be the smaller miners that will feel the pain if the price doesn't go up much. these miners will most likely leave temporarily. they will come back once the price goes up again.
Its hard to say. Because you never know what will happen with Bitcoin and you can see now that the value also is rising.
I dont think that it will be good for Bitcoin, but also not that bad. The value will be stable and that is all what is going to happen. Or maybe it will rise very slowly, you never know.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 23, 2016, 10:31:17 AM
We are all waiting for a good price increase. Because there is now no reason to sell it and that is really bad. Because we need to wait a little longer.
And I hope that it will be more worth in the future so we can sell it later with some good profit. But you never know what will happen with the value.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: March 23, 2016, 10:26:36 AM
The best thing is just use all your money to invest in Bitcoin. Just go all in. And than you will have some good profit from it.
If the value is down. Dont panic, but just hold your coins and wait for a good moment later.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: March 23, 2016, 10:23:09 AM
9 years ago - 1k to 34k in 4 days on sports, lost 16k of it back following week.

7 years ago - 300 to 41k over a month or so on sports/casino, had terrible sports night went on tilt and emptied out on BJ.

2 years ago - Hit a royal on stud poker online, paid 4600 off I think a 5 or 10 bet

Nothing recently though but agree with op, awesome when it happens.
You're very lucky. what's your overall profit from gambling?

I had a bankrole of 0.001 from PD and won up to 0.12 but sadly the next day house edge got me, oh well thats my most victory in gambling.
profit up 1000% + it was amazing. unfortunately you do not learn it. maybe if you change accounts. you would not lose so great, or is it because you're too greedy. i dont know Cheesy
changing account doesn't help, but some think it does.(well good for them  Wink) everything is random whether it's a new account/old.
That is very nice. I just won one time some 2 BTC and I made an investment of 0.5 BTC, so I was very happy with it.
But you never know what will happen later and many people are also losing money in gambling and that is bad.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: sub 400 in 3.. 2.. 1... on: March 23, 2016, 10:20:17 AM
More harsh times for bitcoin across the horizon.
Now that merchants are stopping accepting bitcoin in their stores we can expect a significant (20-30%) drop in the next weeks.
If you make like twenty bearish calls, one of them should be spot on, just from pure probability theory. Now, can you tell which merchants stopped accepting Bitcoin and what were their volumes?
It will rise of course in the future and that is very good. But you dont know how fast it will rise and how long and that is the problem.
We all hope that it will also rise after the halving, but personally I dont think that it will happen.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 23, 2016, 10:16:14 AM
Bitcoin will have of course a good future. Because the world is getting more digital and that is very good for Bitcoin.
But you never know what will happen with Bitcoin and that is the problem. I hope that there will be more people that is going to use some Bitcoin.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 23, 2016, 10:13:58 AM
The only reason that they will stop is that they lost a lot of money. Than they will stop because they dont like it anymore.
But that is very bad, because there are greedy and that is not good, they are going to sell it to early and that is bad. They must wait when the value will be higher.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Blockchain is good, Bitcoin is bad"..i'm tired to hear this on: March 19, 2016, 11:19:11 PM
everybody wants in on this huge market. this is not strange that financial institutes like banks are interested in bitcoin. and since they can not take control of bitcoin (it is too late) they are trying to get in on the technology by only using the blockchain technology.
but in the end all they are going to achieve is an AltCoin

Well yes the technology behind the blockchain is innovating and it is brought to you by bitcoin.
Banks may try to copy it but bitcoin really got a big head start. Having a new coin competing with bitcoin is an adoption.

However i doubt it will be succesful.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my favorite bitcoin gambling sites on: March 19, 2016, 10:39:14 PM
I use cloudbet and made good profit from this site , it is perfect casino

I've never heard about them. No problem since i gamble mostly at crypto games. The profit i made there is not much but in average i had some very good days.
With some very nice profits. For sure my favorite.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: March 19, 2016, 10:36:04 PM
It seems Betis vs Malaga: will be finished under 2.5 goals because this match will get very close and i feel home team can win this match

Well either way Betis has been the favorite, my favorite all the time. I doubt Malaga can be even be able to compete or come in the match.
Betis offensive is by far better.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 19, 2016, 10:33:54 PM
anything is possible, so yes. bitcoin is a digital currency. We can earn it online, we can spend it online, even we can convert it to fiat money online. I am earning a living with bitcoin and I am from a country where bitcoin is still a mystery.

How do you earn a living? is it really sufficient?
No. How can it be? The price is not set, so the amount you make at any given time is not the same. So you can not rely on that.
One week you can be making $100 the next $80. Your bills not change, so you can not set a limit of how much you can make.

I guess it's far easier for people living in asian countries to make a good living with bitcoin. Since they can pay their rent with 1 bitcoin.
For the EU or US you can hardy buy all your groceries with bitcoin. If i would have the chance i would do it btw.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: March 19, 2016, 10:30:19 PM
With all this information it maybe the year of bitcoin. Although i am positive much more news is needed.
For me it's really interesting what the chinese markets will do.If they go massively into bitcoin it may be the best year of bitcoin.

2016 has the halving and yes i expect the price to change big time if chinese investors step in.
If this happen then the financial landscape will changed drastically. Just look how the gold price has grown since the beginning of this year.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: March 19, 2016, 10:28:33 PM
Should I believe in Bitcoin ?
I have 10k $ and maybe going to buy  , but I doubt the further development of Bitcoin and I'm afraid to lose money! Can you convince me or dissuaded from buying?

Are you willing to invest all your eggs in a single basket? I think it is a risky decision, friend, and any prudent investor would prefer to diversify his portfolio in order to reduce risks.

You also need to take into account that this type of intangible assets based on changing technologies always involves great risks, because we all know that technologies are rapidly changing all the time, and even the greatest ideas can become obsolete quickly.

Putting all your eggs in 1 basket is the most stupid thing you can do. Remember there is still a change the bitcoin project fails.
So yes if you believe in bitcoin it may be wise to invest money in it but invest with care.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: March 18, 2016, 03:14:20 PM
You can lose a lot of money with gambling, I lost around the 2 bitcoins with gambling on different gambling websites.
Of course this is logical you cannot always win but I still regret today that I invested so much for me in the online casino's.

Well you regret because you had losted but if you had won 4 btc with those 2 btc invested would you regret, for sure no,the thing is we cant win always ,its like play lotery, knowing that casinos has a better odds to win then lotery, but well in the end all had been made to be profitable otherwise wouldnt exist soo many casinos.
It depends per session. There are some moment that you will of course win some money. And that will be good. But if you win you should directly stop.
And some people are playing further and in the result they lost more money than they won and that is very bad.
That is true. I lost 0.07 BTC and that is not bad I think and total I won 0.05. So I didnt lost that much money.
And that is quite okay. I just gamble because I like it to do, and not to earn some money.
That is very good mate. Many people lost of course more money than they have invest and that is quite logic I think.
Because gambling is made for fun and not to make money so that is why. To make money with gambling you have to be really lucky.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1 million for 1 bitcoin.Here is how on: March 18, 2016, 03:09:50 PM
It is not possible. As you can see now, you can see that the value is slowly rising and that is very good. But it will take a long time to have a high value.
And you dont even know when the rise will stop so that is also very risky. The best thing is that you must sell it when you think that it has a good value.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: March 18, 2016, 03:06:20 PM
Its good to invest in some Bitcoin. Because there is a high chance that you can make some profit and that will be so good.
But the most important is to just have some patience otherwise you will not have profit in the future.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 03:00:18 PM
Well I think its mostly the bad name the bitcoin itself has because of the criminals that are using it, but that should be no risk.
The other thing I'm thinking is that people are to scared to invest in it because its still a risk you are taking.

Criminals use all currencies not only bitcoins, then why people are pointing finger only on bitcoins? People should not hate it only because of this one reason, they should see other benefits associated with it.
They will stop if they know that you also can lose some money and that will be not good. But its better to hold if the value is low.
I hope later that more people can have some good profit of it and that they can make Bitcoin more popular.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: March 18, 2016, 09:46:35 AM
gamblers sets aside their emotions when they are gambling, gambling = risking, that means everything that we win or put in our balance would probably be busted in the long time..

Gambling is always a risk and there is nothing to do about that but there is a chance you will make profit in a long term but indeed mostly not because you will need luck.
Gambling is all depending on luck so its almost not possible, and its also what you consider as a long term.
Yes indeed. There are always risks in gambling and that is very bad. But the chance is also higher that you can lose some money than win money.
And that is really bad. Because people think that they can win some money with it but that is not true...
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: to buy or not to buy on: March 18, 2016, 09:42:39 AM
Both can be very good. Because we all hope that the value will rise in the future and that we just can have some profit later in the future.
But we are not for sure. It can also that the value will fall and that would be really bad. It is also a good time not to sell it for some people.
