1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly 12% transaction fee on the ERC-20 platform! on: January 06, 2021, 04:29:49 AM
The impression is too excessive, whatever is offered may not necessarily come true.
for me personally would not dare to participate in an event like that.
by the way does anyone know what exactly they have to offer?
They don't offer us anything to do, just that those who are inside the whitelist have to go one step, called GAS WAR!
Currently, the trend of Polkadot is really making a positive impact on the investor community. Perhaps that's why they accept hundreds of dollars of fees just to participate in projects on the Polkadot ecosystem.

By the way, sorry everyone so much for now I have free time to go back to my post to discuss with you. Thank you very much for your opinion so that I can better understand the current market sentiment. Kiss
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: December 15, 2020, 06:20:21 PM

The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?
Previously I had the same idea as you and hopefully the tokens I received from the Bounty campaign will pump big.  But after 5 months of holding tokens such as WPP, BBOD, EZY, IQcash, ... all seemed to be trash.  It occurred to me that most of my projects opening bounty campaigns were failing, so I decided to sell them all, even if they only made a few dozen dollars.

I came up with a new strategy that whenever I get tokens from a campaign, I will sell them as quickly as possible to get money and buy Bitcoin.  I think this is the best strategy to increase the amount of money you have after years of holding, because Bitcoin is never undervalued and will do a halving every 4 years. 3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Nearly 12% transaction fee on the ERC-20 platform! on: December 15, 2020, 05:28:21 PM
Hey folks,

Today I was really surprised when traders are willing to pay nearly 12% transaction fee to get slot to buy token of SpiderDAO.
As far as I know the way to join SpiderDAO's Presale is first come first serve, only 100 fastest people are chosen to buy tokens.  So traders must choose Gas price more than 500 wei to scramble for slots.

Here's a picture I gathered from a member of SpiderDAO Presale's participation

What do you think about Defi's hype this time?  Why are people willing to pay such a large fee like that ?  Undecided
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why difference in Transaction fees on: December 15, 2020, 04:55:36 PM
As a newbie into cryptocurrency world, I understand up to a certain extent the reason for high or low transaction (gas) fees on mostly used blockchain network which is ethereum.
But a thing I find funny is doing a transaction almost at the same time on both tron link wallet and Klever wallet, a gas fee of just 1 tron was charged on tron link while Klever charged about 13 trx for the same amount of transfer at almost the same time. What can possibly be the reason for that?
Transaction fees on the ERC-20 platform were triggered a few months ago as Defi got hotter and hotter.  So the fee increase isn't due to the poor processing speed of the ERC-20 platform, it's just that they have to deal with tens of millions of transactions per day.
Tron's platform is cheap because they do not have to serve too many transactions during the day, so the dispute between the nodes has not happened yet.

Due to the above difference, we should hold the coin at TRC-20 and should only use ERC-20 when you need to invest in current hot Defi projects.  So kindly be patient and wait for Ethereum 2.0 to officially launch, I believe that fee will be reduced back to normal.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRANGE RISE PATTERN on: December 15, 2020, 04:42:57 PM

What could XRP be doing wrong to make its price suffer the falls while it should be rising?
The price reduction of XRP is quite understandable as it has tripled its market cap in just 1 week.  This growth is due to the airdrop of the Spark token and when it runs out of hype, and investors receive the token, it is time for them to sell off XRP.

The sell-off has only just begun and it is likely to decline further.  So be careful, when it gets too high, it can drop drastically in a short time.  Limit order Long at this point, the risk is very high.  Smiley
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Constantly burning out my trades. What do I do to avoid this? on: December 15, 2020, 04:03:29 PM
Hey,

I believe I have caught myself in a loss-chasing cycle. It's gotten to a point where I am now using my overdrafts and my final cryptocurrency investments to try and recoup any losses I have previously made.
The lower my funds get, the riskier my trades get, and the higher the leverage used. In total, I have lost just under £10,000. This is becoming more and more depressing as time goes on.

How do I safely recover my losses, preferably over a short period of time?
Actually this is a common cycle of traders on this market.
First, you will trade in a very lucky way and you will make a lot of profit from this market.  After that, you will fall into a subjective cycle and become greedy;  And I'm sure you are on this cycle.

Honestly, trading to get back £ 10,000 that you have lost in a short time is impossible.  Because your greed will rise again and you will lose again.

My advice now is that you should rest for a while, trading in a stressful mindset, the more you will lose.  Keep your mind clear and create a new safe trading plan, if you are serious, you will soon get your money back.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who are the 1% of traders who earn with trading? on: December 15, 2020, 03:50:55 PM

•   Only 1.6% of traders remain profitable net of fees in the long-run

Who are in your opinion these ∼1% of traders? Why they are able to remain profitable? Are you sure you are one of them, if you include taxes, fees, etc.? Wink

1.6% of the winning traders are whales and whale followers.  Yes, im not kidding, this is true of any financial market.  That is why there is a very good saying in the financial markets, that the more money people have, the richer they are.

Margin trading, Futures, BO are all gambling;  The market and rich institutions are the bookmakers so your chances of winning are very low.
- I just want to tell the truth and hope the new traders here must be very focused when trading and never be subjective.  Getting rich by trading is a long project and you have to sacrifice a lot to become professional.  Trust me guys Wink
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 has still no Effect on ETH price on: December 14, 2020, 06:34:38 PM
Everyone know ETH 2.0 is recently Passed  and unfortunately I had not seen any positive changes in Ethereum Price .
I am so 😲 shocked that why ethereum 2.0 doesn't effect the price of ethereum just like bitcoin halving effect the bitcoin price like halving make BTC price higher . but Ethereum 2.0 doesn't show anything till now.
Please share your thaughts about this it will be pleasure for me
I think you've got some confusion here about ETH 2.0 as well as their PoS scheme coming.  You should know that the news about Ethereum 2.0 updates dates back more than a year.  All traders or investors have had a buy mentality for a long time.  I can even confirm that Ethereum 2.0 had a strong impact on the price of ETH in March when the price suddenly plummeted.

The current problem where ETH has not been able to break the $ 620 resistance zone and reach $ 700 or $ 800 is that Bitcoin has yet to break resistance at the $ 20,000 price zone.  They all need corrections and accumulation, after which they can have enough buying force to break the strong resistance zone above. 9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 19-Year-Old Ukrainian Politician Owns 185,000 Monero (XMR), Bought In 2015 on: December 14, 2020, 04:19:20 PM
Ukrainian Kramatorsk Rostislav Solod, 19-year-old a member of the city council in the town of Kramatorsk, in eastern Ukraine, has reported owning 185.000 Monero (XMR).
How does he have so much money?
Because:
His parents, Yuri Solod and Natalia Korolevska, are members of the national parliament of Ukraine.

Source: https://azcoinnews.com/rostislav-solod-19-year-old-ukrainian-politician-owns-185000-monero-xmr-bought-in-2015.html
Also, I think the number of XMR he has was bought by his parents, but it's all labeled by Rostislav Solod who bought it.

I have not mentioned his knowledge, but when 19 years old has such a high position, there is a high chance that his parents are using power unjustly. Besides, their family also borrowed the title of their son Solod to facilitate money laundering, because Monero is a privacy coin and no one can access the real information of the trader.

In my country there are also such families in the political apparatus, after the children do not have enough experience to take on the high position usually will not help the country. Lips sealed
10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WARNING - BITTREX lock accounts on: December 14, 2020, 03:58:42 PM
Hi,
My account on bittrex was blocked, and i'm waiting for 9 days and no more updates in my ticket.

JUST FYI be careful with BITTREX
Bittrex currently has a hard time managing the information of users, anyone who does not perform KYC or provides enough information, they have enough reasons to lock your account.

I think this is the rule of the game at Bittrex and you should follow it. The fastest way to handle this is to DM directly to Bittrex supporters on Telegram so they can assist you as quickly as possible.

This is the telegram link that leads to their official group, and wishes you will be able to reopen your account soon.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 14, 2020, 03:47:55 PM
Haha, you are such a smart and real man. Tobacco is really harmful to our health and when we are addicted to it, it causes a lot of harm to our body and nervous system.

I am also a smoker but I intend to quit 2 weeks ago but I am not motivated. Your idea is really good and I will try it out.
I have saved this article and if 10 years later I am successful and healthy, I will definitely not forget you. Right now I can only give you 1 merit to cheer you up, fighting bro!  Wink
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will mainstream users care about the difference? on: December 14, 2020, 03:39:27 PM
Assuming that they can receive and send their money quickly and conveniently with ecash, I speculate that they will never care about the difference between centralized and decentralized.

Would this not hurt bitcoin as a currency? Would this not only encourage bitcoin to be used as a speculative investment? How about mainstream adoption?

Despite the small success of high transaction demand in China, it is actually very difficult to approve Bitcoin.

As Yi Gang said, this is just the beginning of a demo implementation using cryptocurrencies and their legal framework remains their biggest hurdle. It is really difficult to accept cryptocurrencies because if they cannot manage it well, money laundering will happen soon. And that will certainly affect the general economy in the future a lot.
So we should only be happy that China is showing a positive signal about Crypto, but the announcement of its widespread use has to wait a very long time Cheesy
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub now accepting Monero on: December 13, 2020, 05:37:54 PM
I really have a big question between the settlement of USDT TRC20 and Monero. I feel that using USDT is still stable and better than XMR, since the price is not volatile and transactions always have fee of 0.

USDT - TRC20 has great block handling speed and in addition it is fee free in transactions. As for using XMR, we run the risk of having to sell off after buying or incurring high transaction fees. So why should we choose XMR and celebrate it like that? Does a privacy coin have a special function than Tether? Undecided
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: December 13, 2020, 01:00:40 PM
Guys is any of these normal?

1. Admin close down bounty group after bounty ends

2. Admin failed to update spreadsheet and gives stakes to participants and later block access to the spreadsheet

This is what base protocol team did to their promoters, all those that participate in signature campaign aren't rewarded any stakes and they can't even look at spreadsheet, bounty group is closed too so anyone can't complain and yet the team said they will make distribution in the next 42 hours
Actually, this is the intention of the team bounty manager and if you get too little compared to the actual reward, you can sue them.

The only way we can reclaim equity is by directing DM to the project's CMO to address this problem.  Maybe they'll work again with the bounty manager team. Wink
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Discuss about SpiderDAO / built on Polkadot on: December 12, 2020, 07:23:22 PM
Today, when I was surfing the newsfeed on Twitter, I came across Top7ICO review of SpiderDAO,

I find that it has many great partner and backed by many investment funds like Moonrock capital, capital Vendetta, ... Will they continue to make SpiderDAO as great as the previous projects they've invested in? Undecided

Also, just recently they announced an important news that is will list on Polkastarter. Link to the news on Medium : https://bit.ly/3gBRqEH

- So, what I wish is that we will have a serious discussion about SpiderDAO and I will appreciate the in-depth analysis of the future and its technology.

! And my main question is do you feel this is a real hidden Gem or is it just a regular Defi project shill? Let me know your idea after analyzing SpiderDAO, many thanks. Wink
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 12, 2020, 06:46:46 PM
The bear market has come back and of course makes ethereum prices go down again had risen but fell again it is ethereum's current state Don't get your hopes up on ethereum until the end of the year breaking through $ 600 would be pretty good because reaching the end of the year would only take a few more weeks
It is possible that you have had current chart analysis confusion. According to D1 chart, we absolutely see that ETH is still in bull trend and there is no sign of stopping.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin had a large number of investors bought Bitcoin and pushed its price back up to 18k7 $. So we can be more optimistic about the future value of ETH and Bitcoin. Again, good news for Bitcoin believers in particular and Cryptocurrency in general.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth 32 stakign kind of thing on: December 12, 2020, 06:31:47 PM
so if the most of the eth holders will reach to the point 32 eth will the ethereum price will collapse`?
Why it would collapse? It's on hold so why it will be like that? if everyone is holding it then that only means that there's a cut in supply.
With that, it will result in increase in prices yet it still depend on supply and demand of the market.
As far as I understand, the author's idea is, will many 32 ETH holders sell off and then the price will collapse?

You should keep in mind that Ethereum 2.0 PoS pools are limited and there will definitely be a lot of sharks that have a lot of money but still can't buy it.

But as far as I can tell, there won't be any sell-offs going on here. Because the Crypto market is in the bull trend and they have no reason not to hold on. If so, only a slight correction took place.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Yield Bank is going to be the next 100x crypto on: December 12, 2020, 06:16:47 PM
I've seen 1000 DeFi projects by now and it's rare to find something this innovative, so I thought I would share/ask for opinions here. Basically, they have created a two-token system with really powerful tokenomics behind it. This project is also a passive income generator, so getting in early is huge for this type of thing.

I could go into a whole explanation about it, but just check out the website (yieldbank.finance) or join the Telegram (t.me/YieldBank) and let me know what you guys think.
I have consulted the site, but it is really nothing special. I understood the working mechanism, understood the team and their vision for the future. But I don't see partner? YieldBank has not been able to partner with any partners until now?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium on: December 10, 2020, 04:30:35 PM
The price of ether is currently dumping a bit. What is the reason behind this dumping or what is the possibility of pumping ether in 2020? We look forward to hearing from you in 2021.
This is quite normal when Bitcoin fails to break the resistance zone near $ 20k, so the bears swarmed and caused the price of Bitcoin to correct. But do not worry bro, Bitcoin is still in the bull trend and it cannot fall sharply in the near future.

The most recent news is that MicroStrategy is continuing to plan to acquire more Bitcoin for $ 400m. If you decide to buy and hold then it is best to buy a little bit more Bitcoin now, I predict that BTC will soon increase to $ 25k in Q1 of 2021.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s digital yuan could replace bitcoin & end US dollar hegemony on: December 08, 2020, 08:00:46 PM
How bro? This will lead to the collapse of the Chinese economy soon!
Look in countries around the world, are there any countries that accept Bitcoin as the primary payment currency? The answer is: NOPE!
If China uses Bitcoin, it means that they will not be able to trade with the surrounding countries because the surrounding countries do not accept Bitcoin.
This will inevitably make China's economy go down and even suffer an economic crisis.
