1  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: After ASIC what comes next? on: January 08, 2015, 03:50:57 AM
A little random, but Im supprised that everyone seems so sarcastic about quantum computing: certain labs have been able to send data using quantum computing and were even able to run the most basic algorithm that would be predicted to work. It may not sound like much, but quantum computing will be something will have access to relatively soon.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / PLEASE HELP on: January 08, 2015, 03:31:02 AM
I can get my 2 Gridseed miners to work on my Mac. I have tried bfgminer (4.1), asteroid, and cgminer. Do i need to download a certain driver? Are they simply not compatible with the OS X 10.10? I literally follow the directions step by step and it still doesn't work. PLEASE HELP
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to make a new coin..... on: January 05, 2015, 10:32:05 AM
Believe me, I understand what you're saying. I know what's been happening with the market in the recent months, and I've been watching and BTC for a long time now. I just think that I have some legitimate ideas for a new coin that would substantially differentiate it from BTC and all the altcoins. This is not some crap coin that I want to make just for shits and giggles. I seriously believe it would be a distinct coin that could one day have a serious value to it.

If you're looking for someone to design the coin I'll do it for like 0.15BTC. (I'm willing to negotiate if you don't like that price)

I'm not sure how much, but I'm willing to pay if someone truly wants to help me. You'll get paid in fiat or BTC, whatever you prefer.

I know there have been thousands of knock offs of Bitcoin but I want to make my own coin. I have some ideas which will hopefully make it a distinct coin and a legit coin which will actually be worth something. Unfortunately, I don't have the skills as far as programming and other things to make it and I was wondering if anyone was willing to help
