5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BIOS modding on MSI RX 470 8G on: June 05, 2017, 11:09:11 PM
So copy the 1500 strap into all the higher straps

0:1625 7770000.....
0:1750 7770000......
0:1875 9990000......
0:2000 9990000......

If I copy these timings correctly  am I unlikely to cause a bricking if I have chosen the wrong combination ? If a combination works but it isn't the fastest its simply a matter of testing it and then reflashing the BIOS? eg copying from 1500 up or 1625 up is no more likely to cause a bricking? Or is 1500 up considered more aggressive than 1750 up?

0:1750 7770000......

HI ALL

I have 6 x msi rx470 8g gaming x setup in a H81 pro BTC board and I cannot get the sixth card to run. I have tried everything. Is it still the case that 6 rx 470 cards will not run on windows 7?

I can see immediately from your reply that you have absolutely no business acumen. Stick to sitting in front of a computer.

I almost agree with Djm, just not agree 100% because i see people with $300 GPUS making 45 S/s when i do 29 S/s with a $745 card.

You contradict yourself and make my point for me, so what if the hashrate explodes, that's competition with even distribution, not nepotism.

I refuse to respect anyone with this attitude....

im pretty sure that is bcause of the guys like you with a "Fleet" of GPUS that makes he don't release

He did release it to a private buyer with a fleet of GPU's ROFLMAO after saying he was going to make it public......

Pride comes before a fall djm34. If you were truly smart you would see that your short term move to make a few bucks over a coin that is just DASH MK2 with no reputation and no structure is a serious mistake. There is money in this now and it is only a matter of time before competition brings on a new crop of devs. Operators like nicehash will continue to organise (collectivism is strength) and pay devs providing them with a career path. Code is cheap my fleet of 1070's is not. Within weeks mining this algo will be worth just the same as the rest. Then operators like me make the real profit over the long term, assuming of course the coin has any merit and with Zcash this remains to be seen. I am more than happy to pay a fair price for software ( I sent you .15 and you couldn't even be bothered to give me some simple advice), it is not my problem that you cant develop a viable distribution model. My capacity is growing exponentially (thanks to the fact I make my own power) and rest assured after seeing the way you have behaved I will never pay you for software again. You may also find the small fish around here might grow up with the same opinion. A smart old mentor of mine always said the easiest way to make a lot of money is to take a little bit from a lot of people.

Selling the miner to the big boys is effectively giving a pre mine to vested interests, increases the pump and therefore the dump and in the end will damage good faith and liquidity. If these guys are so good at writing code sell the software by subscription per rig so everyone pays the same.

Dumb question but I substitute my coin address into the.conf file yes? Is that file run by the  the miner once the proxy is running or is that file run to start the proxy server? Those commands are almost the same as what I am using to start my miner solo mining without the stratum proxy setup running
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stratum Proxy not working with Java on: July 27, 2015, 10:03:19 AM
solved by reinstalling all the software and moving file locations
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: JSON decode failed(1): on: July 27, 2015, 09:49:46 AM
I ran both proxy.config files that I have been using through the website and it deemed both to be valid. The miner is actually starting, submitting shares and I can see it running through the proxy server in the cmd window.

I think it has something to do with the config file not being set up properly for the hardware, or the LAN I am mining with GTX 750 ti cards using ccminer I have two rigs and my PC mining and all machines  display the same error, including the PC which is the proxy server and has two cards mining on it. They all mine fine solo.

20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Stratum Proxy not working with Java on: July 25, 2015, 07:26:40 AM
Hi All, thanks in advance for any help. I am a relative newbie at mining and it has been a steep learning curve. I now have two rigs up and running (GPU) and I am trying to set up a stratum proxy server. When I try to run the startup command in the command line editor I get the following error message
