1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s3 problems on: May 11, 2015, 01:14:43 AM
My miner stopped running again after switching the power supply. The room the miner is in never exceeds 75 degrees fahrenheit. Anybody have an other ideas why it isn't working properly or how to fix it?

So if I change the psu since I do have a REVOLUTION87+ 1000W psu all the problems should go away? I haven't overclocked the miner and all the other settings are default.

Thank you guys for helping. I have a APEVIA ATX-CB700W 700W ATX12V psu. I think it may be overheating. I did switch the setting to continue running even if it exceeds a certain temperature for a small period of time. However I changed it back to the default setting which is to stop if it exceeds the temp.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer s3 problems on: May 08, 2015, 01:47:59 AM
I have an Antminer s3+ and the miner's firmware is up to date but every 2 days the miner starts beeping, the ethernet lights completely go out, and the red light blinks and I have to power my psu down. Then if I try turning the s3 back on it, the red light still blinks and the ethernet lights that flash do not turn blink or turn on even though it is connected with an ethernet cable. This problem then goes away if I leave it off for a few days. 3-5 days later when I turn it back on it works for another 2 days and then I get the same problem over again.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you first of all kabopar for all the help. I was able to change the miner's ip address to 10.154.192.90 but when I connect the miner to the network and search for all connect devices I am unable to find the antminer still. Could the problem be, the network I am using is reassigning the miner an ip address when I connect it.

How am I suppose to change the fixed ip address without access the antminer config page? Am I suppose to connect it directly to my computer? And my router is 10.154.192.1

10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Connect Antminer S1 via ethernet on: January 10, 2015, 07:19:32 AM
I recently bought an antminer s1 and trying to connect it to the internet. I did a hard reset and connected it via ethernet but when I search all the connect ip addresses I can't find the antminer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

So I setup another network on my laptop just to see if the antminer's were connected. I was unable to see the antminers on the new network. For some reason the antminers are not connecting immediately after I connect them with an ethernet cord.

Also can antminers connect via wifi without an antenna?
12  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S1 setup on: January 10, 2015, 06:16:52 AM
I still am unable to find the S1's even when I enter 192.168.1.99 after the reset. When I searched through all the ip addresses I still couldn't find the connected via ethernet antminer's ip address

So I reset both miners and plugged one in via ethernet but I don't see a "Paragon Technologies or it maybe Shenzhen."

Where is the reset button on the miner?

Will the miners automatically connect to the internet if I connect them via ethernet? Once I connect them via ethernet how do I find them on the network?

Thanks

Hi all I'm a beginner to the mining setup and I have two Antminer S1's. I have all the hardware setup correctly but am having trouble starting the mining process. The only way I can get to the antminer setup page is to connect the miner via ethernet directly to my laptop. I don't know if I have correctly connected it to the internet. I setup my pool setting as instructed by the pool and after saving and applying my updated pool settings, I disconnect the ethernet cord from my laptop and plug it directly into the ethernet port I have at home.

The miners are not mining since from my mining pool page, the pool is not noticing any hashing from my miners. Does anyone have any suggestions how to setup these miners for a newbie? I have looked through various tutorials online and none of them were able to set them up. Also, how do I know if the miners are mining without refering to the mining pool page?

Thank you!
