This sounds like something people should stay clear of.

No question about it. The USSR was a whole lot better than the EU. That's why the West destroyed it!

I like to keep about 5 bitcoins in active trades and slowly try to increase them.
So I really don't see why I should spend them? Isn't that what fiat is for?

This is very true. Must of us spend far to much money on housing when we really don't need to.
It's worth looking at different countries and their tax laws to get the most out of your rental income.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I hold a short position for months or years ? on: January 24, 2015, 04:44:45 PM
Just use a derivative to sell short.
Also, if you want to hold coins for actual practical use, i.e. spending, but not be vulnerable to losing against their $ value, then you can use derivatives that way too, "hedging".

All this options is to dangerous to use them, be ready to lose, and do not invest more than you can lose...

Yes, now i am reading different topics at bitcointalk, and i can see that now, it is not a good time to start work with BTC, i think better now wait and watch at the market.

I think that this is not a good idea. You can't enough profit on it, but you can lose all your money.

Have only one bitcoin now too. But sold about two hundreds for 2-4$ few years ago Grin

The price now decrease, so maybe it was a good decision Wink
