461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: February 12, 2019, 11:16:31 PM
I think that this is impossible. Almost all coins become cheaper after they enter the exchange. This is due to the general decline in the cryptocurrency market.
It is possible. See bittorent they could build the hype properly making their coin still on demand even after being listed in the exchanges. Although most of developer nowaday dont care about how their coin progress.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Name Some Quality Exchanges? on: February 12, 2019, 11:11:57 PM
I only use 2 exchanges right now which are Nauticus and Binance. Coinbase ripped me off last year and Kraken has tons of issues. What do you guys think of Nauticus and Binance? Do you guys think these are good exchanges that have a quality project?
I can't say a lot about binance because it's the best exchange site in the world but about nauticus and for me im not interested with it and consider latoken as a better option rather than nauticus.
Latoken can be the next big exchange consider the team is very solid.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: February 12, 2019, 11:03:07 PM
Most of the altcoins are useless, but not every! Some altcoins are leading the crypto market after Bitcoin. Crypto market have more than 2000 Altcoins active at this moment, but only 200-300 coins are active in trading, other coins have a very poor volume. Without altcoins, the crypto market won't able to reach to everyone. So, altcoins are not useless, dead, scam, fake, shit altcoins are useless.

don't make statements that aren't good for altcoins, maybe you don't feel the benefits of altcoin? so said that altcoin is useless.
Although active altcoins are smaller than those who aren't active, altcoin can provide big benefits. without altcoin, it might be difficult to invest in bitcoin, it speaks for hunters who can only get by following the capital bounty campaign to buy bitcoin by following the bounty.
There is also altcoin with real functionality for digital services or goods. Examples are storj and sia. I really like the concept of decentralizing cloud storage. Also cloud storage is something that we will need in the future when IoT hits.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An ERC 20 Stable Coin on: February 12, 2019, 10:23:59 PM
I think there are no stable coins of ERC20 or other coins and tokens, all of them are obedient to market conditions and the most influential are old coins like BTC

but what impressed me was the BNB that was widely traded, even though the BNB was a coin that still appeared recently
You are a little wrong. The fact is that in early 2018, Tether announced the transition of their token to erc20. This will make it possible to reduce the cost of working with USDT and another cryptocurrency and will make life easier for users. You can check this information by seeing the name of the USDT token in Etherscan.

https://tether.to/

https://etherscan.io/token/0xdac17f958d2ee523a2206206994597c13d831ec7
That is right. The cosf to maintain the blockchain for a stablecoin is too much instead they could rely on another platform blockchain so that the cost will be reduced also there is lesser risk of having low hash power.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your tokens when you're gone one day? on: February 12, 2019, 10:08:01 PM
I've told my wife my wallet password so if one day I go or die, my child and wife can still access and sell crypto assets that I've ... yes even though now my wife doesn't know about crypto at least she already knows password that will used for access my wallet
Sometimes i can't keep away useless questions about believing to relatives who have no idea about crypto, wallet, password. After leaving the earth my only person who can dechiper the cold wallet is my brother and i kept my wallet seed in bank storage which only i have access to it. Questions keep my mind busy.
Then just hand him the seed just incase, it is as simple as that.
You can also use multi signature in case of him trying to take the tokens without you knowing so that you dont need to worry anymore.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: February 11, 2019, 10:38:59 PM
I also believe that passing KYC in order to get a few dollars tokens in an airdrop is absurd. Even if a person buys tokens during an ICO in the amount of $200- $300, then this is also not so large a sum to require KYC. We do not show a passport and a receipt from the bank to buy some things in the online store.
Even if it is $200 or $300 it is still money and can be used for paundering. Imagine people splitting their money into that amount to avoid KYC.
However I do agree that airdrop should not require KYC because it is too risky for the users.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: February 11, 2019, 09:56:08 PM
Decentralized exchange is easy to use for beginners. After used one time if you have more coin this wallet those are in risk. Idex is the best between decentralized exchange.
But centralized exchange is the more newbie friendly because there is customer service that will help you and also tons of guide whereas decentralized exchange usually have poor customer service or none at all.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether vs True USD? on: February 11, 2019, 02:24:58 PM
To be honest, I have not used True USD before, I have been hearing if it quite alright but I have never used it, Tether is the one I have used and I can recommend it to you anyday, anytime.
Obviously, USDT is too popular and most people here use USDT in trading. I am like you when I have never used another stablecoin, I have seen a lot of stablecoin created but I only trust and use USDT because it has become a habit
USDT already cater traders needs in terms of activity inside the exchange, this trading pairs have a good volumes and really being used by traders
who understand the benefits, price are being kept and still can be classified as stable coin, when you are not sure what to use while working with
day trading, this coin is one of those best options.
USDT also one of the earliest stable coin, they also have undergo an audit done by rhe authority therefore making them more legit.
However some people said that exchanges which provide usdt always requires KYC, that actually does makes sense because they need to avoid moneu laundry.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market going RED! on: February 07, 2019, 11:32:48 PM
It does not scare me anymore. The market is constantly fluctuating and we must get used to the fact that after a period of growth there should be a period of decline.
There was a big bullish trend in 2017 that create a big pump to the bitcoin and it has made bitcoin goes from hundreds of dollars to the thousand dollars. There will always be a lot of pump and dump scheme in this speculation market. It's the usual thing.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: February 07, 2019, 10:39:28 PM
I am not sure that this still works, since earlier, when this procedure was just beginning to emerge for many ICOS, the documents were not checked very carefully.

I find many ICO projects seem to use KYC as a not so important step and they mostly don't care about it and I also wonder what they use our documents for? it is not like google and facebook
I submit fake documents for bounty reward which projects are looking fishy. Because i don't agree to submit real documents in random projects. Thing is funny they can't detect fake documents.
For some obvious financial reason fishy project will accept any kind of document even if the document were made from another planet because their braincells are just very few left otherwise they wont trying to scam people like that.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKitties - Ethereum's first blockchain game on: February 07, 2019, 10:32:54 PM
Heard a lot about it but never played it. Overall I think it is a great game and there is need for more creative cryptocurrency games after all, Game industry is one of the leading industries and it's high time crypto verse tap into its vibrance.
It is always bad idea when people are giving value to game character basednon nothing, I mean you can breed the kitties as rare and much aa you want but it will still remain valueless or barely have any function.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are most bounties managed by New accounts? on: February 07, 2019, 10:12:40 PM
I think you are right, most of the newly projects organization bounty now are copper members account, possibly paid for. Which means someone planning for a project hasn't been in crypto for a long time, or using it to avoid them being cast. I also noticed that it's is mostly for those projects who organized it their self and not giving it out.
Copper to enable the ability of posting imagea and link. It is more likely that the project creates new account because they already have their own manager instead of hiring someone else. It is a usual practices that a project tend to have peoppe specializes in online marketing.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ico should i get in for a long investment on: February 07, 2019, 04:27:29 PM
I would now chose not to risk investing in ico's. It is better to consider the coins that have a background and promising events.

if there was an ico like BTT and are you sure to not join in that ico? So many early buyers have been gained huge profits from there but that's indeed if that will be so difficult to determine which is the best ico at this moment consider there was a lot of scam ico.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China lifts ban on cryptocurrency on: February 07, 2019, 04:26:02 PM
This is of course good news. But if you look at the market, nothing much has changed. This means that the news may be false, and maybe the local population does not have any business and confidence in cryptocurrency?

I believe that the market is not responding to the news at all, it is waiting.
The market still not yet decided about the correct news. But this is just another rumour and china never lifts the ban from cryptocurrency dude, Remember this news has already verified by some people and that's just a rumour. China still ban crypto.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 06, 2019, 10:58:31 PM
No, the new ones cannot compete, because the ďoldĒ ones already have a target audience and market capitalization. These factors greatly affect the life of the project.
However if the new ones have far better business model, features and such thing then there is a high chance that the new project will take over the market from the old ones as emerging project.
People are not so blinded to not realize that there is better option out there.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: February 06, 2019, 10:40:37 PM
So, just to shortly recap passive income from cryptocurrencies:
Bitcoin: NO passive income
ETH: Maybe in the future from POS, but now not
KuCoin Shares: couple of percent dividend in KCS, but huge token value loss
VeChain: similar to KCS, but additionally to the value loss, VeThor is not trading at all
Neo: NeoGas is working and tradable (ROI around 2%), Neo also lost lots of value
Electroneum: Something comes from mobile mining on smartphone, but it is not passive.

Some other tokens PROMISE dividends, but projects are not testable in present.
Kickcoin also offer such thing but the current circumstance making it hardly valuable.
Most of the POS token are indeed giving away dividend but realize that most of them are kinda waste of tine.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: February 06, 2019, 03:11:19 PM
because bitcoin can damage the economic market because the price is fluctuating and the price changes are very fast and big. if it is used as a product conversion, it will be difficult and may fail to reach the goal. if it can stabilize prices, maybe bitcoin will be better than fiat.
Even gold with really huge market capitalization has had price rally and downfall whereas bitcoin is nowhere near goldís market cap and that just actually seems like a wishful thinking but. We are really hoping such thing to happen of course.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: February 06, 2019, 03:01:52 PM
Myetherwallet, in my opinion, is very safe. Although there are still many people who lose tokens when storing in Myetherwallet. I suggest you can save your password and don't let anyone know it. And if you don't do that and you can lose it all.
Cant blame it to MyEtherWallet honestly because they donít store your data it is the users fault when they are losing because they just donít want to invest a little bit much to their security or even worse they actually donít give an attention to that.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: burning token on: February 05, 2019, 11:35:55 PM
I often read and heard about burning tokens that were not sold when the ICO project was finished, I also knew that by burning the rest of the token was a strategy so the price of the token didn't fall, but if the DEV and the team didn't burn it was a crime? is there a requirement that the remaining unsold tokens must be burned?
What will be done to leftover tokens or tokens that were not sold, is most times left for the developers to decide on what to do with it.
One thing that might put them under compulsion, but not necessary compulsory, is if it is already stated that tokens will be burnt. Then investors might want to hold them unto their words.

But not so many platforms are distributing the rest of unsold tokens rather than burn them all to the market. It looks similar but it has the risk about the possibility to create the more dump to the market dude. I remember some developers have applied that. That depends on how the team manage the unsold token because they have the main key.
well you know what, burning token will help to increase the value of token rather than redistributing it. I mean the less he supply.the higher value. The devs would also prefer to burn it because it will help to pump thw value of their assets aswell.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges on: February 05, 2019, 11:11:59 PM
Centralized exchanges are now much more popular than decentralized. Centralized exchanges are faster than decentralized. Also, centralized exchanges have a greater volume of trades. Perhaps in the future the situation will change, but at the moment, decentralized exchanges cannot compete with centralized exchanges.
The advantages that you just mentioned are already been there since ages. Decentralized exchange prioritize the security and safety of user by letting no one in charge of storing the money. That also why decentralized exchange kinda slow.
