1  Other / MultiBit / Re: Unconfirmed transaction - what to do? Multibit classic on: August 27, 2017, 08:35:10 AM
Can you provide the TransactionID? I'd like to check to see if your transaction has actually propagated properly...

It's quite possible you could just "import" your private keys rather than "sweeping" them... which would get around the mempool conflict error, but if the transaction still exists (it's quite possible that MBC is rebroadcasting your transaction) then you still wouldn't be able to send a new transaction anyway...

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/0e9a9d0861a90e29427c7810801effab2869bbce9dd5df5b155b5084565251ee

That's why I didn't do the import.

I went through Multibit support and tons of threads, but double spend didn't work at all.

(transaction details on blockchain of the above transaction are the same as the earlier - 0e9a9d0861a90e29427c7810801effab2869bbce9dd5df5b155b5084565251ee sent on 22nd)
2  Other / MultiBit / [SOLVED] Unconfirmed transaction - what to do? Multibit classic on: August 26, 2017, 06:40:33 PM
On 22nd I did send the transaction using Multibit Classic with too small fee.

It was seen in network but was never confirmed.

Blocktrail says the transaction status is "Removed / Expired"

I did reset the blockchain in Multibit but it didn't remove the unconfirmed transaction from legder, it shows it like it was sent today.

Can't add the privekeyes to another client because of mempool conflict.

Any ideas? apart from CPFP

EDIT/SOLUTION: As @HCP suggested I tried accelerating the transaction viaBTC (he did the same)
https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

and the transaction got confirmed after all. Thank you HCP!

Since you the seller did not any photographs there's nothing to look here

9  Other / MultiBit / Re: Multibit Classic network sync on: June 25, 2015, 09:11:21 PM
If you hover your mouse over the 'Online' icon it tells you the height/ date of the most recent block it knows about.
If you take your mouse away, wait a while and then do it again, has the block height increased ?

If so then it it syncing (perhaps slowly for some reason - peers vary).

If it isn't syncing at all then check your port 8333 is open and isn't being redirected anywhere (say to a Bitcoin Core on your network, something like that)

Thanks for your answer.
I'm using Multibit since.. 2013, I think.
I did reset the blockchain and after 3 hours it started to download blocks again, but extremely slowly (6-day package every 30 minutes or so, which isn't the speed I got used to).

I'll have to resync the blockain for 2-3 days, but it is good, as I will be able to send the funds to HD version.

Is there any way to get blocks faster?
10  Other / MultiBit / Re: Multibit Classic network sync on: June 25, 2015, 05:43:20 PM
Or is there any other way to download and synchronise blocks?
Like in core client in which you could download blocks separately
11  Other / MultiBit / Multibit Classic network sync on: June 25, 2015, 04:16:12 PM
Does Multibit Classic synchronise with networki still?

I wanted to move to HD version and saw in Help section that the only way to synchronise between these clients is to spend funds to new address generated in HD client.
But the problem is that the classic version keps on "Synchronising with network..." with no other messages prompting.

Am I seriously fucked up?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: February 10, 2014, 10:09:00 PM
there is always a risk thay dev will do against the rules he stated. But he will get hmm 300$ ? For some shitcoins coins?
If he does abide his rules and distribute the coins thoroughly he will be mich more richier.

AUR is worth mining because we take part in social experiment that was not introduced elsewhere.
