401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Skelpy-Take Control Of your Portfolio’s Privacy (Article) on: March 18, 2019, 09:10:28 AM
Good thing you asked a question about having confidence in storing our coins on those platforms. Once I am able to have access to my private key on the platform, then I don't have any problem storing my coin with them since I know that those wallet don't have a central wallet that controls every user coins.

If for instance the website seize to exist, that doesn't mean I won't be able to access my coin, once my private key is intact, my coin is also intact.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL Initial Coin Offerings are Trash on: March 17, 2019, 09:00:42 PM
I can say 80% of ICO that are being carried out today are all scams, but I can't say all ICO are scam because the truth is that I actually gained huge amount of money from some ICO tokens I made purchase of in 2017. One of this coin I made purchase is ETH, we all know that ETH was one of the first coin to begin the ICO movement and sold it's coin at a cheap rate during the ICO period and as we all know, the price of ETH went to as high as $1000 in 2017 making me a lot of profit. Another coin I also benefited from is NEO.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scams on: March 17, 2019, 07:52:59 PM
Is there a possibility of a scam if my tokens have no value for 2 months? I already have the tokens for 2.5 months and they keep telling us that listing is a laborious thing to do. Is that a normal thing to happen when your coin doesn't have any value for 2.5 months now?
I believe that every project has a roadmap of how the platform is going to be designed over the years even if their token was given by airdrop or you make purchase. So I don't think the token not being listed in 2 months makes it a scam, all you need do is check the roadmap to see when they actually specify when the listing will be taking place, whether it before the 2 months you have spent or after the two months. If it as gone space their specified time, then you can conclude that it's a scam.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO will be replaced by IEO on: March 17, 2019, 07:02:41 PM
Yes, I won't be surprised if IEO replaces ICO entire because this are business men and will only find ways to make money.

Though, I am also scared about this IEO move because that was how the ICO move started by a few legit companies, then a lot of scammers who had that ICO was one of the easiest way to make money took advantage of the market and started to create fake projects that comes up with fake promises that will never be fulfilled even if they were able to raise up to the hard cap needed.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risk of Proof-of-Stake Coins on: March 17, 2019, 06:34:48 PM
This is a free market and people will always take advantage of that to come up with ideas they can use in scamming a lot of gullible users who are just head bent of making profit in crypto and not trying to learn how the system works. POS is relatively new and still under test therefore we can't give conclusions about it, but we just have be very careful when investing in any project that comes in the name of masternode reward to scam people.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Sparkster SCAM alert on: March 17, 2019, 06:03:03 PM
Hello, guys. We were investors of Sparkster project. And here is the analysis of what we have now. Sparkster is a pure Indian scam.

Check this article (investigation):

https://coinstelegram.com/2019/03/12/sparkster-sprk-investors-want-to-return-their-funds/
I am not surprised that we are seeing a lot of scam in ICO this days, because it is already becoming the norm and investors are already getting tired of investing in ICO projects  due to the fact that you can never differentiate that which is scam and that which is legit.

I think it is best to invest in IEO now than ICO since IEO is being regulated by popular exchanges, unless there is a good way to regulate the activities of ICO projects to curtail scammers ICO will soon be in extinct.
407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: March 17, 2019, 05:19:03 PM
It's a good decision. I think you can buy some coins. I think now Binance coin and Litecoin are promising. And of course bitcoin.
Yes, Bitcoin and Litecoin both are good choices. The reason behind why do I call them good choices is their low market prices. Remember that a low market price has always been instrumental in giving great returns and imparting great values to your portfolios. ETH along with Bitcoin is another good coin I think you should consider.

It is always good to have diversified portfolios. But, I personally feel no other cryptocoin may match the ROI of what bitcoin could bring to us still for sticking with investment's basic principles, we may need to go for diversifying.
408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I do make money in my sleep with crypto ! on: March 17, 2019, 03:04:38 PM
Yeah holding your Bitcoin is the only way to potentially make some profit in my limited knowledge about how Cryptocurrency works currently.
That’s right. Even in China, you do not get to use cryptocurrency legally. It is illegal in China and even in Singapore; the government would have its own monetary base that would not really allow the transactions without documentations if they exceed a certain limit. And this is because of the already existing monetary laws and rules in built around fiat so this is an open secret that a government would keep check.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: will Bitcoin clock 4k today. on: March 17, 2019, 02:41:47 PM
I think there is something who is blocking Bitcoin from reaching the $4k mark.
It will not go to 4k right now. The highest price is $3980 but it didn't reach 4k.
Maybe there will be a day that it will surpass the 4k mark but it will be not today. Maybe next week or next month. Maybe after 2 months Cheesy.

I don't think there something or someone is blocking maybe it's really a big psychological barrier to break at this point. Remember we moved way above $4000 last month, but the sad thing is that it's not sustainable. Of course they will be a day that we can see the price goes above $4000, but we don't not when it's going to happen so it will be a tough road for everyone.
Nothing but the market forces including some of the exogenous factors by which I mean whales are controlling the market. Butm regardless of these facts, the market value of Bitcoin is expected to rise sooner. We have certain reasons why would the market enter a bull run this year.

Hence, it is yet to be seen when would the market rise but regardless of what would happen, you should not miss out.
410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's obvious bitcoin is going to have a trillion dollar MC on: March 16, 2019, 08:22:57 PM
Bitcoin just created 10 years ago but the price already sky rocket since that, from the price $0.1 to $20k in 10 years is very huge return. Bitcoin need another 300 times to go to $1 million from current price. That possible to reach in another 10 years, because the total supply very limited.
A very wise and precluding view about the future value of Bitcoin. And I like that because yes it did came all the way from zero to thousands of dollars.

This is something that defies all the assumption and predictions made about Bitcoin that it will end up valuing nothing and so on. So, yes it is very obvious that Bitcoin will have a trillion dollar market cap soon on the charts.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gambling really accepted in China ? on: March 16, 2019, 07:36:02 PM
I think bitcoin gambling is still not accepted in china because how would they buy bitcoin if it is illegal in china.
You have a point that gambling cannot be accepted in china because they prohibited bitcoin and other cryptopcurrencies in their country. But do you think online gambling is legal in china ?

Gambling is really originated from china and there are a lot of casinos in china that there are a lot of gamblers wants to go and play. But online gambling is not allowed china because it is considered as an illegal gambling, that is why it is impossible for you to play bitcoin gambling in china. But there are still online gambling sites that are in china that are not yet banned because they are not yet discovered by their government.
I am not sure this can be real, why only online gambling is banned when they legalized gambling?

Wikepedia says gambling is completely prohibited in China, source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambling_in_China
Initially the large number of Bitcoins in the world had been mined in China but later on, China lashed back on the cryptocurrency banning some cryptocurrency exchanges. This was a sign of the start of the end and yes the trend is now way too down. I do not know hey did they do it. Since gambling is not legal, I do not think Bitcoin gambling would be allowed either.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will an increase in bitcoin price affect the gambling industry on: March 16, 2019, 05:00:06 PM
In my experiences, crypto price affects the gambling industry less than others. Meanwhile things like media are some of the most affected by price.

That said, positive increases will increase gambling, but just by less than other industries.
I feel the effect goes a bit negative in case a gambler losses some Bitcoin so he/she would take it as a big loss because of rise in price level and so his or her intentions to get involved in more gambling would probably subside.

Winning it on the other hand would probably increase the affinity to play more games. So the overall effect is kind of neutral or may be positive a bit.
413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now a stable coin? on: March 16, 2019, 08:41:52 AM
Bitcoin might not be very stable now but you can’t compare its volatility to how it was some years back after the bull run, the fluctuation was high that many people were afraid of using it as ordinary savings or accepting it as means of payment but for sometimes now, lots of merchant have been introducing the coin as payment due to its stability which will intend join the group of factors that will contribute to the next bull run.

Right now, bitcoin is trading above $4k levels which is a lively proof that we will never have bitcoin as a stable coin at least for few more decades. I guess, bitcoin is seeming it has resumed its bull rally and lets wait where it will be heading.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think BCH SV Could ever get up again? on: March 15, 2019, 08:54:55 PM
I am not a fan of BCH because I never saw the need of creating and hard fork of the bitcoin blockchain because you think that Bitcoin is not following satoshi's initial plan, but I think it's even far more better than BCH SV which I refer to shit coin because I can't see the reason why it was created.

I believe that the developers who created it are just after how they could make lots if money from it and not provide a real life value.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: March 15, 2019, 06:45:51 AM
Have you been able to resist the addiction and not let gambling consume you?

Have you been able to control the urge to place that bet, spin that wheel or roll
that dice? For you to be able to go a length of time away from the adrenaline.

Would be interested to hear how people can control this.

Maybe not control, but actually i don't spare money a lot for gambling. That is why maybe i can spend all of my money and then back again with spare money if i already profit from something else.
That is not what every one does and losses actually have a psychological impact on the mind and really make you stay in the gambling which results in more losses under pressure.

So, what I want to say is that having good control over your nerves and in the same time following your strategy that is your set price levels and your stop loss points, you might be able to resist if you are loosing. You might be able to stop and take away the profits home when you are winning.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: True or false? on: March 14, 2019, 08:03:30 PM
Many people around me are still saying that the last bullrun was nothing but a bubble and it got bust so we are never going to see any anymore that the present market condition is just realistic? I'm not saying its not realistic but is bullrun gone for good ? Please share your opinion
The bull run may not happen for now, but maybe for the foreseeable future I think the bull run is still potential but has a very long time and it can't be predicted when the right time.
That is right mate, the bull run might not be sudden just like it happened in 2017 but the market will gradually continue to appreciate till it hit the high price target, so the bull run we are talking about now might be gradually process till we get there unlike the way it happened 2017 when suddenly bitcoin rose with 2 months and crashed again but this time around, people are beginning to understand the crypto world and gradually putting in their fund for many reason.
417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodler, you motherfucker. on: March 14, 2019, 08:17:19 AM
why can you say that holders are bastards?
they have their own principles and ways of trading.
the holder is the same as the merchant, I am sure as a trader you will also hold your coins, right?
I believe that everyone in the market has their own strategies. Everyone approach and solves the knots in a different way. The investors who have been holding their coins since say 2013 have been hodlers and yes you might hate them but they have been benefited immensely by their decisions and have really made millions of dollars in the business in the cryptocurrency.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: March 14, 2019, 08:13:33 AM
if you want to play without pressure, you have to bet with small numbers, the smallest. if you bet with big numbers, then you will be under pressure for fear of losing and losing a lot of money. be a smart gambler, even if it's a little, what matters is winning.
It is considered as rational to stay in gambling even if you lose some initial money only if you see the potential. The future benefits you can probably make in case you gamble wise next time. At times, you commit mistakes but if you know this thing is worth staying for, pressure could be handled.

But, this is possible in the presence of experience. If you are inexperienced, better not come in the first place for the mind does not work under pressure at such times and can result in further loss.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best place to learn how to play Poker online? on: March 14, 2019, 07:18:16 AM
My open a nice if you want to learn something doing it practically will be more effective than learning or reading the books so if you want to be a successful Gambler you need more experience and more patience it could be possible while you are doing it practically
In gambling, we have quotation “learning” and doing here means doing it practically.
Hence, I think that you should not really think about doing online. Doing things online and in real life are different things. Couple on good websites can teach you on Google how to play poker effectively and you can explore them over the internet but I do not think that you should really focus on online things alone.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: March 13, 2019, 09:05:55 PM
because......

any choice in every bodies’ life is actually a gambling…

choose a wise husband from a bunch of boys is a gambling
choose a school to study is a gambling
choose a boss to work with is a gambling

so, gambling is addictive…

no one can escape...
each and every single thing in gambling attracts the people when he wants money it could be in gambling so the people who had money will definitely entered into this field by the process of entertainment but when the days are going it could be changing into a huge addiction I think this will be made a person to addicted in gambling.
It is that quest to become perfect that makes you a gambler. You try to choose the best employee and the best thing to use. But not everything is gambling. Here we need to look at the addiction for utility and the addiction for making money separately.

Gambling for making money is addictive for it can lead to financial losses and making money for the sake of money is something that is also looked down upon.
